“I was here for a birthday party, due to this event all of the staff was assigned to this event from 5:00 pm to 7:30 dinner and the bar services wasn't being offered . Once services were back in full swing, the margaritas were margarotahs terrible . Hosting a party and while being open as a full bar was too much for them to handle, they can only do one or the other.“

And the service was great! They arrived early. And the food was hot. The owner, Norwood, presented the food with a very appetizing description of each entree. Everyone loved it! Additionally, the portions were very generous. And everyone went back for seconds. At Triedstone, we do everything with excellence. And Darrow’s definitely met the challenge. “We've always wanted to try a seafood boil. The food was fun to eat and tasted great. There were choices on the type of seasoning and how spicy you want your boil. I only wish more thought was put into the presentation. The pictures online show silver pots and plates. We received our seafood boil double bagged in plastic. After spending over $300 for a birthday dinner for two, I expected a little bit more.“

My only issue would be that the host clustered all of the guests on one side of the restaurant and when i respectfully requested a booth instead of a table in-between two other familys she seems annoyed. Beside that the rest of the staff was nice and attentive.“

“I moved to Long Beach from South Louisiana. This place is legit. NOLA chef started the restaurant. It’s small but clean. The Boudin is spot on. Red beans and rice were great. Dirty rice was good as well. Boudin balls were crispy and tasted great. I will have to come back to try the Po Boys and BBQ Shrimp. Yummmm!“

We also added extra items like sweet corn, boiled eggs, sausages, and tender red potatoes which complemented the seafood and sauce beautifully. “As a Filipino, we're used to eating with our hands.When we get in they cover the table with paper. No utensils.Then they bring this huge plastic bag with crab legs, crayfish, shrimps, corn, all sorts of shell fish, lol, iam old so really forgot evrything.No talking just dive and use our hands to eat the delicious feast infront of us. Once we raised our heads, all gone...lol.“
