“We had the hots for broiled chicken and it was very good, it wasn't dry, it didn't feel like the chicken had been sitting in shelf waiting for a customer to ask for chicken to have your chicken to be quickly served, the seasoning was very light while at the same time it was juicy, the one full chicken was served on a big plate served with French fries, a lettuce salad for $46 (maybe the two sparkling waters elevated the total price this high) the price itself is a downer for us not to go back. It was good, yet not a to die for finger licking type of full flavor chicken for that price.
The atmosphere was the best, we happened to arrive at a karaoke time, and since I lived in the Karaoke Capital of the world, which is Japan, I can tell you that this place is a gem when it comes to Karaoke for Spanish-speaking mature people that enjoy the 70's probably stretching all the way to the 90's romantic broken heart ballads and songs that have to do with, so if this is what you are into, you won't be disappointed, they have the best sound system and everyone was enjoying the good talented amateur singers.
They have good parking, the restrooms are clean, the staff was very cordial, amicable and with very good positive attitude, if you come to eat during Karaoke hours expect a very loud music that feels nice if the music described above is the type of music that stimulates tu corazoncito o lo que aún le queda de corazón destrozado, a mí, me encantó, quizá deba ser que mi corazón parece parrilla de asador de esos que se utilizan para asar a las brasas.“

“Hands down the best Peruvian food I’ve had so far. The flavors hit different — everything tastes fresh, homemade, and seasoned perfectly. Don’t let the area fool you; it might look a little rough around the edges, but this place is a total hidden gem. Super friendly service, generous portions, and real authentic Peruvian flavor.
Also gotta give a shout-out to Primo Mexican Food right next door — they hold it down too. But when it comes to Peruvian food, Carlita’s is the real deal 🔥“

“This was my first impression of Peruvian food and it was delicious 😋 I recommend, they have a happy hour where drinks and empanadas are cheaper. I got the cheese and spinach empanada and my sister got the chicken and potatoes one, they were both yummy with the aji sauce but I prefer the chicken and potatoes one. For main dish we got arroz chaufa de pollo(chicken) and tofu with tallerines and both were seasoned to perfection.“

“Toyitos is a jewel in the city of Downey. Best Rotisserie Chicken around. I love Chicken with fries and Salchipapas( sliced hotdogs and fries). The chicken has special peruvian flavor and peruvian sauces. Don’t forget the ice cream Lucuma flavor, and the peruvian soda Inka “

“I’ve passed by this spot numerous times and thought I’d check it out with my coworker.
The corn nut starter is delicious and addictively good. I ordered their jalea de Mariscos and bandeja paisa. The fried seafood was excellent and with the tartar sauce it was great.
The bandeja was also very delicious with lots of protein and the pork was crispy deliciousness. Overall it was an excellent lunch!
Great interior decor for a lively feel and great customer service. I’d definitely come back here again to try their other menu items.“

“Honest Review:
I'll start by saying the food here is amazing! You can never go wrong with any choice. Somethings that aren't to great are the pricing as it might be a couple of bucks more expensive than other places as well as other peruvian places I have been to sometimes give complimentary bread and a small soup as here you would have to pay extra for that. The other downside is the parking is horrible, there is about maybe only 16 parking spots (estimating) but half are probably taken by the workers from neighboring stores. So sometimes I can't get a spot or I have to park across the street or elsewhere. Not their fault, but just a heads up about the location wise.“

“Decided to try this restaurant and there were pros and cons with my food choices. 1) Pollo a la braza was amazingly seasoned and delicious, would come come back for it 2) Salad was a good sized plate, would order again 3) plantains were not good, they were green; tasted horrible 4) the Picarones were okay, but it was my 1st time eating them. I wouldn’t definitely not order them again.“

“I love Pollo Inka it is so good I think that everyone should try it. I love the lomo saltado and my family's favorite the whole rotisserie chicken meal with two sides and soup. The restaurant itself inside is small enough to accommodate only a few customers“

“✨ Five Stars! A Lomo Saltado to Remember
I had the most incredible dining experience at this Peruvian gem! The Lomo Saltado was absolutely out of this world perfectly seasoned, tender strips of beef, bursting with flavor, and served with just the right balance of crispy fries and fluffy rice. Every bite was a celebration of Peruvian tradition.
The service was just as impressive warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell the team here takes pride in both their food and their hospitality. From start to finish, everything was flawless. I’ll definitely be back this place is a treasure! 🇵🇪💛 shoutout to Guillermo and Laura !“

“Very good place internally, decent atmosphere and good presence and good food, only 2 suggestions
The little snack that accompanies the ceviche should not charge them, they charged me 12 dollars because without knowing I ordered twice but minimum details in general recommendable“

“Though a small joint, it's food is my son's favorite. Order chaufa and save $$ as you can easily share it with someone. It a large portion of chicken and rice! The pollo a la brasa is tasty and a favorite of mine. Three stars for this place needs a bigger venue to fill more people! But it sales good food!“
