“Amazing food, one of the breakfast in the town! We tried avocado toast with salmon and breakfast croissant, and everything is so delicious.

One note about the place: we prefer to sit outside because the exhaust hood inside doesn't work well and afterwards our clothes smell like food. It would be great if this could be improved in the establishment.“

Food was delicious, and we got several appetizers and bottles of wine. This was just a happy hour catch up with friends and not a main meal. For the apps that required small slices of bread to eat with, they purposely give you less than you need tho I'm unsure if we had to pay for the extra order of bread. I like that when you're ready to leave, you don't wait for the check but head to the cashier inside and pay there. Overall a pleasant experience on the pricey side, not that we were trying to conserve costs.“

The walls look like they’re made of green velvet but it’s actually concrete. The service was friendly, and they made to sure to keep our glasses full. The food is from Ernest, which was a treat. The bread is from Rize Up Bakery and highly recommended with the wine.“

I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local residents of the TL/SOMA. The gelato pricing starts at $5.99. With a playground right behind the kiosk, it would be nice if the prices were lower so a family of 4 wouldn't have to pay almost $25 to get ice cream on a nice day.“

The sommelier was kind and empathetic; he offered us waters and was talking to her to make her feel less embarrassed. While we were waiting, he even helped a lady park her car. So while we didn't have wine or food, the service is top notch and we'll go back!“

We did a flexible set-up with a minimum charged for wine & charcuterie and then cash bar after that, which is ideal for this type of event. “We hosted our wedding reception here and it was amazing! The willow trees and venue are beautiful, and it's a fun spot to host an event! Our guests had the best time, and the staff and owners were so kind and accommodating. “This is for the tasting room AND the Advent calendar from 2023.Tasting room - the woman who runs it is very experienced and we enjoyed chatting with her as she explained a variety of wines to us. There were some really delicious ones we had. One thing I found totally obnoxious and unhelpful were the descriptions of the wine. No joke - these were some descriptions. I was cringing so hard reading them.“Like a pair of silky red pajamas”“Like going on a 2nd date”They are trying too hard here to seem cool and it was embarrassing how useless the descriptions were. We are paying for wine, please describe it. This is not a creative writing class. Thank goodness the lady who ran the tasting room was there to give us further explanation about the actual flavor, aromatics or profile we should expect when tasting. She agreed the written descriptions were not as helpful as they could be but it was not her decision. We seriously would not have tried any of the wines just based on those descriptions. I had to knock off one star because of this.Advent calendar - was skeptical based on some shipping issues I read from the previous year. I got mine on time and the variety was good! I would say I really enjoyed about 70% and the 30% were interesting/good, not my favorite but cool to try. I would do it again next year.“

Wine selection is extensive and so pleased to see wines sourced from México.
Food was quick to arrive, our table ordered chips and salsa (salsas very good), fresh made guacamole, empanadas, sopes, queso fundido, mole and churros with coconut ice cream.
Favorite dishes were the sopes and mole dish.
Least favorite dish was the churros and ice cream. The churros had a type of filling and were more on the crunch side and the coconut ice cream texture could have been smoother. I would have preferred vanilla ice cream paired with the churros but coconut was the closest flavor to vanilla they offered
Would recommend to a friend and would like to go back to try more dishes.“

“We noticed this wine bar in our way to Hayes St, seeing all the packed restaurants (with lines) we turned back around and decided to see what was on offer and Ebb & Flow. What a lovely, friendly wine bar. We ordered wines based on their staff picks (great option), a cheese board, salami, and tuna. The atmosphere was perfect, I’d recommend it for a date or a pre theatre drink and light food. If we’re back in SF again we would definitely return.“

“Really enjoyed dinner at the Peking Duck, hard to get reservations but so worth wait, pre ordered half order of peking duck and absolutely worth the $48.00, ample serving for 2 people, next time we'll order the whole and take leftovers home,! with some sides all delicious! had a wonderful waitress Jenny who explained the food to us as it was served, how to eat the duck in wrappers, and some history behind the food. A great experience, delicious food, prices were on target, We're already planning on returning, will try during week as weekends are very busy. It looked like other diners ordered variety of foods to eat with the duck, which we did also, all complimented the duck. Very good value delicious food! My wife had a wonderful pasta stuffed with pea puree and in a pea sauce. I had a stuffed pasta with cheese. Both were exceptional. The olive oil cake finished the night. Fine wine list with many affordable offerings. We had a bottle of Arnie's and it was just right. The service is very attentive from the reception to the goodby.“

“I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. I am a business owner a few doors down and I wandered in with a friend after work one night about a month ago. We were met with such incredible warmth from the staff and the environment itself, even without a reservation. We sat at the bar and were greeted by Josh, only to find out later that he is the owner. He made excellent recommendations on everything from our drinks to dessert. The bar didn’t feel isolated from the rest of the restaurant and guests, but rather was lively hub frequented by kitchen and serving staff and warmed by a smoldering wood fire. The coziest. We swooned for the poke appetizer, complete with house-made toasted, but not crisp, blue corn tortillas. The pork shoulder tacos—also to die for. I have to say though, that the star on the sidelines was the beans. I honestly didn’t know I could feel this way about beans…but I digress. Josh bounced around from table to table all night, never letting a single ball drop, making every guest feel like *his* guest. A pot de crème sealed the evening in perfect bliss. I’m back a month later with the same friend, eating different and somehow even more incredible entrees: ribeye, halibut and a rhubarb crisp for dessert. I scarcely ever take the time to write a review as I prefer to vote with my $ and my feet, but I simply couldn’t eat here again without taking the time to sing it’s praises. Eat here.“

Wandered in and was immediately geared warmly by Nestor (the whole team exude warm hospitality) who was able to accommodate us without reservations. The space is cozy and the counter seating allowed is to get to know our host a bit better with introductions. Highly recommended the Tavern pizza and add the Phoebe of the hunger pangs are mighty. Two pizzas were more than enough for two with plenty forbtake away enjoyment.“
