“I'm not exactly sure what the restaurant industry would consider a 'destination restaurant' but for me it's someplace I will drive out of my way to get something I love to eat. Tramonti is one of those places, except it's not out of the way for me! The reason I love this place is the Prawns Diaviola. These things are amazing and better still, very consistent. Every time I order them they are fantastic. The ingredients are very simple, it's basically bacon wrapped prawns but they use a spicy Italian salami and Parmesan cheese. The secret is the brick oven! You get a great texture without over cooking the prawns. They serve other Italian favorites and they make a mean pizza too. Local beer on draft and a good wine selection complete the menu. They also make dessert in the brick oven, try the banana w chocolate! It's also a great atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor dining.“

“Always fast service and never any mistakes with my orders. I honestly don’t understand why there CANT be an up charge for an additional item for the Pizza Sandwich. I’ve had mushrooms added previously but when they’re busy, it’s not okay. I always tip 18-20% and even more yesterday when I somehow accidentally added an extra item to a personal pizza and was refunded.When you only get a measly 6 jalapeños as your second item, are a few mushrooms gonna be a huge deal? “A cozy pizza pub on the main drag. The entrance is tucked away, just off the street. They seem to have a lot of big parties come in, I say so because the tables in "the pit" are really big. “Just stopped in as we were looking at properties and needed to kill sometime. Greta food and good beer selection from the small first sample. The lobster bisque was fantastic and they have pliny the elder on tap. Also, the person running the shop was very friendly and helpful. For the atmosphere, it might not be for everyone, but it is the right feel for me, it is a place for the area and has the laid back feeling I would expect of a mountain community. Will be becoming a regular.“

Not sure)Located down the street from the Eye of the Bomb Cyclone storm that wiped out the wharf.It is a fun place to eat. You can feel the surfer vibes in this location. “Outstanding restaurant, particularly with food and service. We arrived on a very busy, rainy Friday evening and put our name on the waitlist. It was a short wait so we decided to just wait there. We were treated with incredible hospitality from the beginning- someone (maybe the GM, I’m not sure his role) chatted with us while we waited and we immediately felt at ease and even more excited about the meal we were about to have. Our server was a consummate professional and she basically read my mind and made sure i had some mozz on my pizza. The food was some of the best I’ve had in Santa Cruz. “Whenever the wife and I have a hankering for pizza this is where we go! Wife lives her pizza with pineapple and in my case I just want everything on the pizza - all the meat and veggies it can handle. The solution: a half Classic and half Graffiti pizza which the owners allow us to order without any fuss or charge. They were just happy to fulfill our request! When it comes out of the oven you will smell the scent of happiness - of a freshly baked pizza! Nothing comes close to the satisfaction one can get in getting it fresh from the oven. Apart from the pizza, we always get their buffalo wings which are extremely good in that theirs are larger portions and their ranch dressing is freshly made by the owners. The quality and freshness of both items were definitely worth every dime. 100% freshly made. “Nice location, comfortable fun setting with fun live music. The owner is oddly rude, I ordered a wine flight, she seemed annoyed we were there but served us. I just thought maybe it was busy so didn't think much of it. She brought out our drinks and my flight good but wouldn't tell us what was in each glass. At first I thought maybe the rudeness was a joke, but no just didn't want to tell us what I was drinking. I was hoping to order a glass of one of the ones I liked but the owner was so rude we decided to just leave and move on. Very odd and disappointing. Maybe it was just a bad day.Update: thanks for the reply. We didn't realize how the blind flight worked and it was busy near closing so I guess we didn't pursue it too much.
