“Buzzos is hands down one of my favorite spots for wood-fired pizza! The quality of the ingredients and the flavors are consistently amazing. My go-to pizza is the Jenkins—it’s absolutely delicious and one I order every time.
The meatballs are a must, and I also love the apple, fennel, and celery salad. It’s fresh, crisp, and the perfect complement to the pizza. The burrata is another standout—such a unique, flavorful dish that’s always worth ordering.
The food, atmosphere, and friendly service keep me coming back. If you’re looking for incredible wood-fired pizza in Soquel, Buzzos is definitely a place you need to try!“

“Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had, period! It’s incredibly fresh, perfectly crafted, and the crust is exactly what you want—beyond crisp on the outside and perfectly fluffy on the inside. They also make amazing sandwiches! I was helped by Chloe, and her wonderful energy and kindness made my visit extra special. Love it here! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐“

“Bookie's always has at least one vegan pie on the menu. Big ones, deep dish, six hearty slices. Was expecting a different pie from the online menu I checked before arriving but they had the Beetaroni instead. Delicious and filling. Toppings were layered properly and everything was balanced. They have a vegan salad on the menu as well as an appetizer. Great drink options for all as well. Beer and NA options. Convivial atmosphere, was packed when I was there but got a nice spot at the communal table.“

“We recently had a birthday party for my son here. It went so smoothly. The staff was completely on top of our needs. They even stored our pizza and ice cream cake leftovers for us while we went next door for a movie! I highly recommend this restaurant not only for the stellar service, but the food is also incredible. Can't wait to come back for more!“

the staff asked us if we would like avocado on our bagel & we said yes, they charged it but forgot to add it, which was a little bit of a shame but can happen to anyone! We also got a cookie which was really good!

“The fire wood pizza here is one of the best in South Bay Area, very tasty pizza with that perfect burnt by the oven crust that gives it a great look & taste.
Enjoyed each time I came here and the atmosphere is very chill. Also this place is very popular and requires booking, but it’s worth it!“
“Ordered a large mushroom pizza w olives to go after having an IPA inside. The pie was not that bad but it’s not Pizza My Heart either. They have Stella and an IPA on tab which would bring me back for their daily pizza specials. It only makes sense to order the Special pie of the day.“

The Caruso family is so nice and the food is just delicious, pure comfort food. The Gnocchi Al Forno is the best gnocchi I've ever had. Pillowy gnocchi in a hearty, garlicky marinara. It's like eating a WARM HUG.
I also love the Fettuccine Vodka and Chicken Parmesan. The complimentary bread with roasted garlic oil is such a nice gift.“

“I walked in, but needed to use the App to receive my Bday coupon. I set up the App, ordered my BBQ crustless pizza, then the employee confirmed my order was received. He made sure the order was correct, then he prepped my order. Very quick, and very tasty!“

“Truly, I do not enjoy writing bad reviews but based on what happened tonight it is warranted. My two allergy kids wanted some pizza, it needs to be gluten free and dairy free. We called them we spoke to two different people at the restaurant they said that's totally okay, we will charge you 18, we're going to do the kids pizza for the allergies needed. When we drove all the way to pick it up for dinner ,they said sorry we tried to call you and tell you but we're going to charge you $50 because we have to make it large. First of all I checked my phone no one called us. They called someone else. Which really shows how unorganized the restaurant is. And second of all they had absolutely no remorse. Espically the manager. In the end I refuse to pay for something that I was lied to. And I feel like they should have still honored the price due to what they told us. It's not my fault that nobody knows what to do there. And it's affecting the customers. I hope the owner and others reads this and teaches his staff to not punish the customer for their own negligence. It just makes me think what else do they do? this is the los gatos location.“

“The joint is very small with 4 or 5 tables so it's primarily meant for delivery or takeout. Eating in is not ideal as per the server, the restaurant doesn't have utensils. The pizza is delicious and doesnt feel doughy or heavy with a thin crust and tasty sauce. Prices are sky high and the menu hasn't been updated yet to reflect the new, much higher prices.“

“I’ve lived in Santa Cruz for four years and this is easily the best pizza I’ve ever had in the area. You can really tell that Tony puts a lot of love and effort into his food. We got pizzas, and homemade kimchi and a chocolate chip cookie to go, and everything was divine. Wonderful service and unique atmosphere. There is really no other pizzeria like it.“
“Hosted my daughter’s birthday at this great venue. Cathy was an attentive and organized one woman show— doing food and wine orders. All of us relaxed and enjoyed ourselves for a few hours.
