“I’m always afraid to try new things. I’m a simple person, but I came here to California from Albuquerque and I wanted to try something different. Something that Albuquerque did not have and I was so pleased with the food. Great breakfast croissant was amazing with the eggs and bacon coffee it was amazing next time. I’m in LA. I am coming here again. Service was amazing. These guys are awesome.“

“Due to living in the neighborhood we received a coupon for a free loaf of bread. We decided to go and get breakfast this morning with the pups. The restaurant was small but there was enough space to order and get what we needed. We sat outside with the dogs and our food came right away. I got the breakfast burrito and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good and hot! I wish there was a little bit of music playing outside to set the vibe but overall I was really impressed and will be back! Thank you!“

“It's actually by far above 5 stars for service at the Beverly Hills location. I usually go to Larchmont location but since I was in Beverly Hills picking up a few food items in the area I thought why not stop by Levain BH. First I received a warm greeting from the staff when I walked in. A big shout out to Sean who assisted me and was fantastic! He had such great energy and was very knowledgeable regards to a new cookie that I've never had before. It was the Peanut Butter cookie with chocolate chips ( limited item and only offer at BH location) I love peanut butter cookies and it's hard to find a bakery that sells it. Sean mentioned there's TWO types of peanut butter (creamy & crunchy) I mean what more can you ask for!? Sold!! I will truly miss Levain Bakery. I'm leaving California to Northeast. Thanks Levain for making my tummy happy♥️“

“Absolutely love Tutto Bene. A true cozy neighborhood gem. We try different dishes almost every time we go and all are delicious. The baked goods remind me of the bakery across the street from our house my dad would take me to as a child - just yummy local goodness. The owner and staff are very nice, always accommodating to our seniors from Sunrise and their wheelchairs. This place is worth a visit, or ten!“

“I'll admit I know about as much about Persian food as a sea cucumber knows about macroeconomics. The food here was great, sure, but the environment was amazing. Everyone from the lovely lady behind the counter to the regulars playing cards in the corner made me feel like I was right at home. I had the chicken kabob at their recommend and I'm glad that I did. I will admit that the yogurt soda was not for me though. The indoor seating is super small and cramped but that's more because they seem to expect you to eat on the patio. I'd happily go back again, if only to learn more Farsi.“

You order at the counter (where you can see all the delicious pastries!) and you are given a number to place on your table for your food to be brought to you. There really are so many choices (see the photos of the bakery case) but I neglected to take a photo of the drink menu. Today, I had the feta omelette and chocolate croissant. Gorgeous presentation and perfect taste and texture! Chaumont Vegan is a find! Don’t just go if you happen to be in the area; make it a destination. Some complain that it is not REALLY a vegan establishment because it is attached to its non-vegan counterpart. To me, this is a plus. The original non-vegan place used to offer some vegan options. But it seems demand was so great, they expanded to offer a fully vegan space with many more options! (I think this happened in 2021.). So, rather than put them down, I choose to celebrate them. “Since they have introduced VEGAN soups, the delite of this has brought in many others besideS myself MORE OFTEN! They started a few weeks ago with a potato porage type soup which was so delicious, we had hard time not ordering more...the second vegan soup was one with garbanzo beans with other really delicious quality CONTENTS & taste. “It’s a charming, cozy café in the middle of Beverly Hills with a well-curated interior. The atmosphere is pleasant, though somewhat impacted by several people sitting alone with laptops for extended periods, occupying tables and taking away from the café’s otherwise lively and welcoming vibe.

The matcha lattes were well-prepared, with milk alternatives available. I especially appreciated the thoughtful detail of dried blossoms sprinkled on top. At $8 per matcha, pricing is certainly at the higher end, but somewhat appropriate for the neighborhood. The warm banana bread, featuring a creative twist with melted chocolate, was particularly enjoyable.

Service was friendly and professional. A small oversight with the sweetness of the matcha was promptly and courteously corrected after mentioning. One practical drawback is the absence of restrooms.

It is a recommendable cafe for a short break, and I would gladly return.“
