A few of the reviews here seem to be for the main restaurant (which is also a very good experience). If you have the opportunity to visit to Sushi bar for dinner, make sure you take it!“

“Cafe Kevah is one of those places where the setting is just as memorable as the food. Perched above the Pacific along the Big Sur coastline, the outdoor patio offers panoramic ocean and mountain views that make you want to slow down and stay awhile.

We ordered the fresh berry pastry, which was light, flaky, and filled with smooth vanilla custard topped with fresh berries. The grilled sandwich paired with a crisp mixed salad was simple but well executed, and everything tasted fresh. Their coffee was the perfect companion while taking in the scenery.

The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff was friendly, and despite being a popular stop, it never felt rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can enjoy a quiet breakfast or lunch while soaking in one of California’s most beautiful landscapes.

If you’re driving Highway 1 through Big Sur, Cafe Kevah is absolutely worth the stop, not just for the food, but for an experience you’ll remember long after you’ve left.“

“Our group was in town for a wedding and we’re desperately searching for a place we could watch the Browns game Sunday Morning at 10am and Trailside delivered! They not only let us take over the TV and bar area but they provided exceptional service and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Pesto Chicken and the artichoke app!!“

“This is a nice, above average experience for dining in the Carmel Valley. Cocktails were superb. Quality of food has elevated, and I had an amazing steak - tender and juicy. Salad was flavorful. They seem to have a good selection of wines. The bar area was spacious and nice looking. The overall ambience was elevated and decorated with great taste. Service was superb and Henry took great care of us throughout our experience. I think this could be a great dining destination for people in the area looking for a nice time and experience.“

“Stopped in for lunch after wine tasting next door and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing and the service was fast and pleasant. I would've preferred we were seated at a table first (instead of the bar) or asked to wait for table. We ended up being seated at the bar and then offered a table 10 minutes after and had to move all of our drinks and food. Other than that, amazing experience and we will definitely return when we visit Carmel again.“

I would always come here for the wings, fish & chips and today all of us decided to have the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection, simple is better, filling and so juicy. Felt like good ol’ home cooking, fun and easy listening county music, fun décor all around and the service was perfectly welcoming, kind and attentive. No doubt as to why this is a local favorite with a small town, good people feeling ❤️❤️❤️ I should have taken photos… next time 😉“
