My head to toe spa experience felt deeply restorative, and dining at the Michelin recognized on-site restaurant Sierra Mar was a treat. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor, and the views were absolutely breathtaking. “The Omakase dinner was excellent. They clearly take a ton of pride in what they do and the food and experience.

A few of the reviews here seem to be for the main restaurant (which is also a very good experience). If you have the opportunity to visit to Sushi bar for dinner, make sure you take it!“

“There is no other place in Big Sur with this spectacular a view offering a delicious brunch/lunch/wine/espresso drinks to enjoy and savor while the view of the ocean and coast line is right in front of you. Parking is limited so come early.“

“Our group was in town for a wedding and we’re desperately searching for a place we could watch the Browns game Sunday Morning at 10am and Trailside delivered! They not only let us take over the TV and bar area but they provided exceptional service and the food was amazing! Highly recommend the Pesto Chicken and the artichoke app!!“

“My wife and I had lunch at Lucia's on Friday 5/29. Our waiter was Blad, who did a very nice job. The chef stopped by our table and we asked about his daily special. We started with a creamy carrot soup that was to die for. The chef prepared a special dish of fresh caught local salmon tartare and oysters with crispy toast points. This was a Michelin dish for sure!! What a wonderful luncheon experience!

“Stopped in for lunch after wine tasting next door and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing and the service was fast and pleasant. I would've preferred we were seated at a table first (instead of the bar) or asked to wait for table. We ended up being seated at the bar and then offered a table 10 minutes after and had to move all of our drinks and food. Other than that, amazing experience and we will definitely return when we visit Carmel again.“

“This place is always a slam dunk good eats!
I would always come here for the wings, fish & chips and today all of us decided to have the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection, simple is better, filling and so juicy. Felt like good ol’ home cooking, fun and easy listening county music, fun décor all around and the service was perfectly welcoming, kind and attentive. No doubt as to why this is a local favorite with a small town, good people feeling ❤️❤️❤️ I should have taken photos… next time 😉“
