“Excuse this long winded review, I was on a road trip. My first stop was in Minden, NV to visit my great grandparents gravesite. They were an essential part of helping raise me when it was just me and my Mom when I was a young girl. I then continued my travels over this Easter weekend to San Francisco and Monterey. I was on my way home when I happened on this establishment. The hostess & servers was very warm and welcoming. As soon as I took a seat at the bar and processed the smell of the environment, I was immediately transported back to my great grandparents house. Waking up on a Sunday morning, walking down the hall to get breakfast. Something in the hair was the combination of my great grandmothers perfume, Great Grandpa’s cologne, the smell of fresh brewed coffee and most importantly the feeling of warmth and love. I embarrassingly cried at this feeling. When I was finally able to order, I got the two egg breakfast with half sausage and half bacon with a side of English muffin and the highly recommended potato gratin. The breakfast was delicious. I personally think the potato’s could have gotten a little crispier, but nonetheless, worth the try. If I am ever back in the area, I would definitely return. Hopefully with less waterworks.“

“We celebrated my birthday dinner at Sur House at Alila and it was an amazing experience. The food was incredible, especially the pork chop — perfectly cooked and full of flavor.

What truly made the night special was our server, Juan. He was warm, attentive, and made the entire dinner feel extra special and memorable. His service really elevated the whole experience.
