My husband and I wanted some pizza after the hike at Garland park. We needed an outdoor seating to be seated with our dog. You can order pizza and eat at Running Iron! We sat with our dog at the terrace at Running Iron and ordered pizza from Stirup Cup Pizza.I ordered stuffed deep dish pizza with the menu #4 and a basket of curly fries. The portions are crazy here! The basket of curly fries was HUGE and delicious! We could not finish the medium-sized pizza. Wow, the stuffed deep dish was very creative. You should definitely try.And Connie, our waitress, was so nice and friendly. I mean, honestly, all of the staffs that served our table were so nice and kind. They seemed to enjoy their job. I genuinely appreciate their service.Of course, I am going to visit here AGAIN!“
“I came here for a last minute dinner and was delightfully surprised by the prompt service. The food is delicious, and the king salmon is ah-mazing! It’s well suaved with a crispy cover. The steak is surprisingly tender too. One bummer is the bread - I wish the bread is softer. Overall, I enjoyed the meal a ton and came back for lunch the next day (again). The salmon didn’t disappoint!“
“Just your run-of-the-mill diner staffed by the loveliest locals you'll ever meet. My boyfriend and I stopped here before our wine tour in Carmel Valley, and the Traileside Cafe provided the best hearty food to fuel us for the inebriation that lied ahead. We split the fish and chips and tuna melt which were both good. Albeit, not the best food we've ever had - maybe w notch above Black Bear Diner. But, not bad at all! What made this experience even better was our attentive, amicable waiter.“

“We enjoyed the new interior atmosphere of The Covey. It's softer, warmer and more inviting. Our party of four enjoyed beet and Caesar salads, pastas and the classic hamburger. Our waiter was terrific- he treated us with the professional familiarity appreciated in a club (we are Quail members).“
“We went for breakfast on a Sunday and they were very busy but we got a table quickly and the service was prompt. Our server was extremely friendly.My wife had the black bean vegetarian chili with polenta which she enjoyed. I has a chorizo omelette. It was great, plenty of spice, melted cheese on top, and home fried potatoes on the side.The coffee was excellent and we noted that they serve a wide variety of coffee drinks.The decor is dated with a 80s vibe, but very clean and comfortable. A bit cramped when all the tables are full.“

“If you are visiting the area, this is a must stop place. It is my favorite restaurant in the county. Every ingredient in every dish is intentionally used, there are no lazily picked side dishes here. The small restaurant is very charming and half of their seating is outside, well covered and heated nicely. Make sure to make a reservation!“
