“What an amazing place! The food was absolutely delicious - every single bite was perfect. Our server was funny, and smart and made great recommendations. The space was warm and welcoming. I couldn't believe what a gem it is, hidden away in Carmel Valley Village.“

“Please know that I am a cook and a food connoisseur. My friend and I dined at Corkscrew Cafe last evening. We were blown away! Every dish we ordered exceeded expectations! It was a perfect party of palatable joy! A friend of Christina's had recommended the Meyer's Lemon Prosciutto Pizza. Serious magic on the tongue!!! And the crust... I normally don't eat the crust of a pizza. I devoured every bit. My favorite pizza is a margarita pizza. We shared. It was every bit as delightful as the Meyer's lemon! I'm a calamari snob. HANDS DOWN the BEST calamari on the Monterey Peninsula! Tender, light, fresh Monterey Bay calamari. And they are brilliant enough to serve it with both tartar sauce and a delightful cocktail sauce. You MUST experience the PEAR SALAD! We delightfully sipped LaMarca Prosecco during our meal. The servers were friendly and caring. The pizza cook a genius! We asked if we could bring fresh gluten-free pizza dough and if they would use it to prepare a pizza for Christina's daughter next week. They are happy to accommodate! It definitely without any hesitation is worth the drive into beautiful Carmel Valley!!! I can't wait to go again and again. I have to try their pasta with Bolognese and their short rib...♥️♥️♥️“

“After a wine tasting across the street we grabbed a quick lunch here. The green salad was amazingly fresh and tasty. The chicken pesto sandwich was tasty too. (I just wish it was on crusty ciabatta bread that I'm used to) It seemed as though the bread was like a soft sub sandwich bread. Still, happy to have a nice lunch place in Carmel Valley.“

“The owner and staff hold an annual Christmas Toy Drive to serve children with parents living with HIV/AIDS and/or HepC. Plus, you can't find better food, more friendly staff, or a really cool venue.“

“I always have lunch at cafe del monte. The staffs are nice and kind. Especially the chef and the man who gets orders. Their cheeseburger is one of the best. I think there are 3 number one burger in LA. Innout, five guys and Cafe del monte. I highly recommend you to try their cheeseburger.“

“This is a lovely place. 10/10 I truly enjoyed the time checking out the farm with my family. I would come daily for a meal, fresh smoothies, yummy coffee, organic fruit and a great vibe. Over the week I stayed in Carmel I would look forward to seeing my kids run around the farm while I fueled my body with the best and relax in the sunshine with the most delicious foods. Everything was outstanding along with the employees who were so sweet!
Thank you for your amazing hospitality made my whole vacation so special.“

“My husband got the Vietnamese coffee and I got the Lavender Yuzu with tapioca (WHICH IS MADE FROM SCRATCH!). Also picked up a matcha mochi donut! Drink flavors were robust but not overwhelming. Love the fact that we have mochi donuts in the Monterey Penninsula now! The matcha flavor was very concentrated, which I love! It's hard to find matcha that doesn't taste diluted. What I really heartened me was that the co-owners Vi and Tia are really down-to-earth and got to know us as humans. Loved hearing their story about working from the bottom up within the hospitality industry to owning their own small business! We'll be back for dinner and a crowd of friends to continue to support your efforts! Genuine flavors, ingredients, and lots of love at this shop :)“
“Love the beet salad, blackened salmon, kids love the burgers and Philly cheese steak sandwiches...lots of great options and friendly service. Especially great for anyone living off Highway 68 or Laureles Grade, great place for dine in or take out.“

“The food here was very good! My buddy and I were on a trip and it was so good that we ate here two days in a row. Everything tasted very fresh and the portions were big but not too much. The atmosphere is casual but very nice and clean. The staff were friendly albeit a bit forgetful. Our waiter forgot to bring us an extra plate both days… also, the price is a little expensive, but for Northern California it wasn’t egregious. I’d certainly recommend this restaurant and would be excited to come back again.“

“I wish I lived closer than Colorado, but this was a fantastic find. Great frittata and the chai was awesome. The small sandwiches were perfect for the start of the drive back home. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a good bakery, coffee and a break from the corporate coffee!“
