“Wow, this hidden gem was awesome! We came from marina to escape the fog and we were not disappointed! The atmosphere is super chill and laid back, we ate outside and the weather was perfect! The pizza was so good and so was our salad. We’ll definitely be back for more!“

“My husband and I had a lovely stay here. The grounds are very beautiful. The staff was friendly and hospitable (shout out to Trevor at the restaurant and the young man who checked us in at the Lodge!) The restaurant is really delicious!! I got the fish tacos and my husband got the loaded burger and yum yum yum, very good! The breakfast, while light, has very good fruit, morning cake, and strong coffee. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly, and would definitely stay again. Thank you.“

“My wife and I had lunch at Lucia's on Friday 5/29. Our waiter was Blad, who did a very nice job. The chef stopped by our table and we asked about his daily special. We started with a creamy carrot soup that was to die for. The chef prepared a special dish of fresh caught local salmon tartare and oysters with crispy toast points. This was a Michelin dish for sure!! What a wonderful luncheon experience!

“First visit to the reincarnated Cachagua General Store, now located at Douglas Ranch, and it's a much better venue -- still rustic but less grungy. Michael is just getting restarted and his locally famous Monday dinners may be sporadic for a while -- follow the progress on it's Facebook page. Note, BTW, that there's no corkage fee at these dinners.“

“Stopped in for lunch after wine tasting next door and we were not disappointed. The food is amazing and the service was fast and pleasant. I would've preferred we were seated at a table first (instead of the bar) or asked to wait for table. We ended up being seated at the bar and then offered a table 10 minutes after and had to move all of our drinks and food. Other than that, amazing experience and we will definitely return when we visit Carmel again.“

“This place is always a slam dunk good eats!
I would always come here for the wings, fish & chips and today all of us decided to have the ribeye steak. Cooked to perfection, simple is better, filling and so juicy. Felt like good ol’ home cooking, fun and easy listening county music, fun décor all around and the service was perfectly welcoming, kind and attentive. No doubt as to why this is a local favorite with a small town, good people feeling ❤️❤️❤️ I should have taken photos… next time 😉“

“Delicious food and drink. The 4 star on the atmosphere was due to the sidewalk going up to it. There was lots of dog stuff someone had stepped in Inside was nice although a chair did keep yanking my hair out. I had a filtered Margarita that was delicious to start. We started with a salad with pecans and citrus, baked Brie, asparagus, shrimp cocktail. All very good . Then we shared the pork fava beans and mushrooms dish, sorels. Our guests had a polenta small plate and also the pork dish. For desert our guests had a had the white pudding stuff and we had the tiramisu which was huge. We all agreed that it was the best restaurant food we’d had in along time and put it above some others favorites. The service was excellent bringing everything on time and kept water in our glasses also polite and neet. We had reservations and were seated immediately.“

“Love this place. But depending on staff, welL? Signature burger requested as rare. Severed like leather. Gets reserved tables requests wrong most times. Beet salad with two tiny beets? Not good. Still, a strong recommendation.“
