“Being an old-ish Army Vet, I had to try the SOS, as it was the go to breakfast in the 80's Army. I was not disappointed with the flavor or the memories! Great, efficient servers, service and food. 12 stars outta 10 stars! (When the VA appointments send me this way again, I'll definitely be getting my breakfast here!)“

“Wonderful restaurant. Great for single diners!!“
“I attended from 2001-2006. At that time it was still very new and evolving quickly, I had some really amazing professors and a few not so great. Living here and getting experience so much of nature through my classes was amazing, I loved all my ESSP classes (I think it’s a new name now).“

“We were more than pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The garlic fries were an excellent start, followed by the pan seared salmon. Even the sides were delicious. Thanks to our server Eric, for the wonderful service. It's so nice to have such a good restaurant right in the hotel.
Update: Back for a second night because last night was so good. Had to have the Garlic Fries again. Oh my... so good! Then it was Chicken Carnitas Quesadilla and Fish and Chips. Excellent! Really good. We went for dessert tonight. Turtle Cheesecake. Oh my!!! We may have to have it again before we leave. Thanks Eric!!! You are the best! So glad you had our table again. Thank you for your kindness!!!“

“The best kept secret in Monterey! First of all the FRESH hand-made corn tortillas! OMG! Best in town without question. Huevos rancheros and Chilaquiles were amazing! Authentic. You want spicy? They have the spicy. You prefer mild? Their tomatillo is super mild and DELICIOUS! Fast service with a smile. Plenty of parking. AND THE PRICES ARE SO LOW“

“My friend was having a really bad day. That’s was until he decided to spice things up by going to Chili’s. He ordered some non alcoholic beverages and got some mozzarella sticks appetizers that filled him up. He called them pizzas because of how big they are. Rest assured they turned his frown completely upside down.“

“Delicious food and drink. The 4 star on the atmosphere was due to the sidewalk going up to it. There was lots of dog stuff someone had stepped in Inside was nice although a chair did keep yanking my hair out. I had a filtered Margarita that was delicious to start. We started with a salad with pecans and citrus, baked Brie, asparagus, shrimp cocktail. All very good . Then we shared the pork fava beans and mushrooms dish, sorels. Our guests had a polenta small plate and also the pork dish. For desert our guests had a had the white pudding stuff and we had the tiramisu which was huge. We all agreed that it was the best restaurant food we’d had in along time and put it above some others favorites. The service was excellent bringing everything on time and kept water in our glasses also polite and neet. We had reservations and were seated immediately.“
