“I happened upon this place at 7:30am and it was the best decision. The staff were so attentive. I never had to ask for anything because it was already there. The waffles were perfectly fluffy and crisp. The butter plus the real maple syrup *Chefs kiss. I ate everything so quick, so you'll have to take my word for it.“

“Picked up food to go last year and it was really good. So happy that we found this place again! Ordered garlic parm and spicy fried chicken wing plates, lemongrass chicken and beef meatball pho. Also ordered strawberry and melon boba milk tea and Vietnamese coffee with egg cream. Food and drinks came out quickly. Customer service was great. It was so good that we ate and drank everything! We will definitely come here again when we’re in the area.“

“Lovely bakery near the historic of Monterey, Parker-Lusseau is savored by many visitors and locals alike.

It is always busy and has limited space inside and only outdoor seating so I seldom make it in but one of my coffee club members loves it so when the boys were elsewhere early in the morning I pooped in for a cappuccino.

Friendly and efficient, the team was working hard to get thing into the cases and serve the line already there.

They were great to greatw, which previously had not been my experience, and set my expectations, and nicely directed me to where I could wait for the drink where I chatted with a visitor.

The pasteries and cakes are known to be amoung the best in the local area.

They serve Acme and my cappuccino came with a beautiful foam.

“I wanted to write the perfect review but I won't be able to do that. The people there were so nice and so warm. The location is in an old house in historic downtown Pacific Grove. But I can't let this go, the prices were high (as expected) and then they did the old trick of, "Did you want chorizo with that"....without telling you it's a $6 upcharge for two teaspoons added on top of your $17 plate of chiliquilies. So for $23, you get a full plate, I mean piled high of tortilla chips covered in a homemade red sauce (delicious). A table or teaspoonful of queso fresco per the recipe (delicious), two fried eggs, and sour cream on the side, (awesome). Most recipes for this dish that I've eaten will offer a choice of protein. Chorizo is a very common breakfast protein for this recipe. I would argue that it should be part of the recipe regardless but if you ask people, "Do you want chorizo on that?", many will say yes for the reasons I mentioned above. But when the bill comes watch out. It was a $6 upcharge to my $17 choice of breakfast. If it's an upcharge you have to tell me in advance. "Do I want it?", is one question. "Do I want it for the price you will charge me?", has to be a separate question. If it's some amount that high, an extra 1/3 of the price of my breakfast, then you shoudl feel extremely obligated to tell me how much. Don't make me feel like an a-hole bringing up your sketchy business upcharge practices to you in the middle of a super-packed breakfast/brunch rush when you hand me the bill. I didn't bring it up but I wanted to, very badly. As good as the meal was the experience left a bad taste in my mouth and more than a week later I'm still shaking my head about it. For a place that thrives on tourist and word-of-mouth business, there's no reason for this type of shady business antics which leads someone like me who otherwise really enjoyed this place to go to the trouble of leaving a bad review. I probably won't go back due to this.“

“Good one to visit and have evening snack with a cup of coffee. Sweet and coffee make good combination altogether. Favourite is pistachio triangle baklava . Halva was okay, not a fan of, little chewy . Thats how it supposed to be. Staff is really nice, offered my daughter sample.“

“I wanted to grab a coffee and a small bite before heading to Carmel, and this spot did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and felt welcome. The space was clean and felt super inviting.

They had a variety of cakes that had just arrived from their bakery, and everything looked fresh and beautifully made. I loved that you can order slices, which makes it easy to try different things. The woman behind the counter was especially friendly and happy to answer any questions.

Their menu also had a great selection of fun coffee drinks and different types of matcha. We ordered five drinks, and they all came out quickly and tasted great.

The location is right off the highway, which makes it super convenient and easy to access. Definitely a great stop if you’re passing through.“

“The good part, the food is pretty decent. I loved the flavored iced tea they used to have until the machine broke, probably back in March. It was delicious!!! Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any urgency to get it repaired or buy a new one. I come in all the time asking (they are annoyed by my repeat questions, lol). I’m very sad about the no iced tea!

The bad part is the service, specifically the rudeness from the employees. I know that they are super busy, but so are other extremely busy places (example, in-n-out). No excuse to be rude.
