Just a heads up, the noodles are pretty spicy, so if you’re not used to heat, you might want to skip them lol. Overall, a solid choice and I’d definitely go back.“

“Friendly staff, immediate seating, and the sushi was perfect. The rice was tender with exactly the correct amount of vinegar, the fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared, and every single thing that I ordered was made with careful consideration.

I had the octopus, escolar, and surf clam nigiri, spicy scallop hand rolls, salmon carpaccio, and seared escolar. They were all incredibly well prepared with well-balanced sauce/togarashi.

I love that the sushi is also sized correctly, each piece is actually a single bite the way they're traditionally intended to be served.

The chicken teriyaki honestly reminded me of home in Seattle. It was juicy and tasty. We recently moved to the area from LA, and this is by far the best teriyaki spot we’ve found so far. “Always loved their sushi here, friendly good service and good food. They make the sushi while you wait. The space is small, however if we end up dinning there we always have a table, didn't remember going there and being able to dine in. Parking is a little difficult as its busy, the store/restaurant is outside superior grocery so its a shared parking lot“

“God Dang!!!! This Ramen is legit! Lived 5 years in Japan teaching English. (Ibaraki-ken/Tokai-mura) I can tell you this ramen is on par. Please come and support this place. I see a lot of sushi spots steering away from keeping ramen on their menus. On a cold day there is nothing better! Oh and that pork cutlet steals the show. Perfectly cooked! “This was a fine lunch experience. After hearing so many people talk about it, my expectations were very high. It was by no means bad, though my expectations were not met. I'll, start off with the service. Service was great, staff was kind and attentive and made sure to check up on us often to make sure we had everything we need. Space and table were clean, bathroom was also very clean. I ordered the classic ramen and was not very impressed with it. The broth was extremely light. It would have been fine on its own but the flavor of the noodle itself was overpowering the broth. The noodles tasted a bit more starch-y. Despite being so bland, the flavor got old very quickly making it hard to finish. The appetizers though, incredible. We got the pork bun, gyoza, and broccolini. Amazing flavor. We ate these first which may have set us up for expecting more for the ramen itself.

I’ve had sushi from so many places, but THIS spot blows every other one out of the water. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — like melt-in-your-mouth good. The sushi chef (I didn’t catch his name, but he deserves a trophy) is not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and welcoming. “I got the Steak and Shrimp bowl with brown rice and veggies…it was really good and flavorful but I wasn’t pleased that the shrimp wasn’t cleaned…the mud vein clearly visible on the 5 shrimp in the bowl…I picked the shrimp out and ate the steak…paid $12 for a bowl been nice if the shrimp were cleaned…won’t stop me from eating there again, I just won’t order any shrimp.“

“Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. “I would like to give my input on this small location food truck on Foothill and Almeria. I've seen this truck there for a while now. So I decided to stop to get some fried rice and noodles for my family. Food is very tasty and service is great. I asked for spicy noodles but realized they made sweet and another one garlic. But they corrected it right away by giving me the spicy noodles free. All around very good food and customer service.“
