“Took the family to Burger Kook in Bonita this evening. This was the first time we visited and it was a fantastic dining experience. this is a Family business serving fine quality food in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. We ordered the cheeseburger, the pizza burger, the teriyaki burger and corn dogs. Everything was terrific and the owners stopped by our table to check up, and we really enjoyed having a conversation with each of them. they make you feel so very welcome. definitely a do again. Lots more menu items to try.“

“Im here almost every day due to the proximity, however, the service has slowed down a little since the push to using the app, the inside order screens, and I'm thinking less employees per shift. I even see the managers having to pitch in to help more. I'm estimating I've been idling in this drive thru for over 20 minutes even though there were only a handful of cars ahead of me.“

Additionally she offered a sample of an item that I had asked about and explained the reward program. The food was above average B+ the orange chicken and shrimp. The store was clean and inviting.“

“Nice quiet kfc fastfood in Bonita. The service is fast, place is clean, and staffs are somewhat friendly. I ordered what used to be a $5 fillup is now almost $6, still reasonable for two pieces of chicken, side, biscuit, chocolate chip cookie, and a regular drink. Some of the benches need to be replaced, but overall, very comfortable with the dining environment. Hidden away in a non busy area of bonita.“

“Very fun experience, the concept is awesome! I tried the strawberry matcha chiller and was pleasantly surprised. The manager was super nice and made some recommendations, ended up getting three more drinks! It's exactly what you think, Tacobell making iced coffee but with their twist. I would come back again.“

“I’ll start off my review with saying great customer service . It shows the owner has put in a lot much of his/her time to train their employees properly . Every time I walk in I am always greeted and never rushed when ordering . I personally love there fruit waters and making my own chip bowl. All prices are decent and affordable so they fit everyones budget . It can get busy from time to time but totally worth the wait . I definitely recommend visiting this location to grab something for your sweet tooth or salty craving:) . Most importantly this location is always clean and sanitized ! You will never see a mess.“

“Hole in the wall joint that by far the best Mexican in Alpine. My go to is the bean and cheese with a side pastor taco and a side of rice. I then put the pastor and rice in the burrito, absolutely delicious and perfect portions. Also the crew is awesome , it’s next to the brewery which allows you to take it in. All around awesome!!“

“I've always seen this place passing by and one day I'm like let me go in here and try this, and I must say I definitely experienced one of the best philly cheesesteak sandwiches that I've ever tried, no cap! Everything was hot and fresh, The Atmosphere gives a sense of nostalgia- I would say how a restaurant used to be and should be! Customer service was definitely exceptional and welcoming. They will take care of you!“

“I've been going to Nachos since 2010 and I've yet to find to taco shop that makes carne asada fries like them. I came back to visit and got them again and they're just as amazing as I remembered. 10/10 recommend - the nacho cheese is the best“

“We went to lunch yesterday at the local In N Out burger. Of course it was delicious. That's the great thing about INO, no matter where in the country the food ALWAYS high quality and very consistent. Cant say that about many other fast food places. 😋“

“Came here for the first time and got a burger combo and a California burrito I could tell the Burger was going to be good as soon as I saw the bun once I got to the meat it confirmed everything. The California burrito was better than most taco shops around the menu is so fun. I cannot wait to come back and try more. This is a must try location. I was not disappointed at all even the service was immaculate. !!!! I do not normally write reviews, but trying this place I just had to. It’s that good. I will definitely be coming back and telling everyone I know . This is a hidden gem between the 7-Eleven and the liquor store. If you’re thinking about trying this place, you will not regret it.“

Each burger is made fresh and is customizable with no extra charge and will run you about $10, give or take. Large fries can serve up 3, maybe 4 guests. “Mrs Rice beats Yoshinoya or any other teriyaki place any day. First the owners and staff here are extremely attentive and prepare each order personally to ensure the food is fresh. The bowls and plates are very filling as compared to what you'd find elsewhere as they give a heaping serving of proteins and rice. They also do wraps for those who prefer tortilla wrapped over teriyaki. I got the #7 which is chicken and steak plus veggies: so good! Drinks are available both as fountain drinks as well as bottled depending on preferences. One reason to keep coming back is that this restaurant is clean and you're supporting a local small business. Parking is available in the lot shared with other business and there's seating available inside too.“

Unfortunately I came during lunch and got the Cali XL for $5.99. The exact Cali single double cheeseburger is under the Star Deal menu for $4.69 but mini version. Also got the famous star.

We actually sat at the tables to eat. I had ordered another famous star combo for take out and they offered to make it fresh for me when I’m about to head out so that I would only have to pay once. Such great service. My take home meal was warm and fresh when I got home.

I can always expect Carls Jr to deliver a hefty juicy burger with lettuce and tomatoes on a soft sesame bun.“
