“I ate a veggie sandwich with an acai bowl and some bbq chips. Honestly, not that bad. The sandwich was simple. I have found that simple is sometimes the most delicious. The bathroom was very clean. Tables..everything was clean and neat. We also ordered a large chamango which was so good. Highly recommend .“

We tried Artifact on mothers day, they were busy so i am taking that into consideration. Their appetizers were 10/10. Solid drinks as well.
But the main dishes were so underwhelming. Came out cold and with unbalanced flavours.

The interior design and atmosphere is very nice!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff struck the perfect balance of being friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We started with the tartare di tonno, which was incredibly fresh and flavorful—an excellent beginning to the meal. The housemade focaccia deserves a special mention: airy, perfectly seasoned, and quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, I enjoyed the bucatini all’amatriciana. The pasta was clearly house-made, cooked to perfection, and the sauce had that authentic depth of flavor that only true Southern Italian cooking delivers. We finished with an affogato, which was the ideal ending—simple, rich, and satisfying. Monzu offers authentic Southern Italian fare with genuine hospitality, and everything we tried reflected both freshness and craftsmanship. “This is a great place with delicious food! The pot stickers were my kid's favorite! They ordered 4 helpings. When asked if they wanted dessert the kids asked for more pot stickers instead. “We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! We loved everything we tried on the menu, and were sad to hear it’s being discontinued for a new spring menu—especially the filet mignon, which was incredibly tasty.
They put a lot of care into their dishes, which really matters to me. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared— like home-cooked food, but elevated to another level. Portions are on the smaller side, but the quality makes up for it.

But the best part was the service: We lost some documents, and we thought we'd left them there. The entire staff was cooperative and friendly. They even gave us a follow-up call. Unfortunately, we couldn't find them (we lost them in the parking lot), but we were very grateful for the staff's support. If you go to San Diego, be sure to visit this delicious restaurant!! “We have ordered Kebabs before here, we recently ordered a meal kit that was all rice and hardly any meat, I mean it was a joke, its a $30 meal. I messaged them because we have ordered several times before and thought maybe they would try to make it right but they never replied. This was 2 weeks ago. We will never buy food here again! The servings are very small and there are tons of other places to eat or order take out around here if they want to be jerks about it! The food is average really, we order out frequently so as not to have to cook and live in the area. We got about $1 worth of rice and lettuce for a $30 meal plate, what a joke!“

The make delicious salads and bowls and are constantly adding new things and updating the menu with fresh seasonal produce.“

We ordered the creamy bun (hot creamy lightly sweet excellent) bbq pork bun (a little sweet for my taste but still really good fluffy delicious), scallion pancake (could have had more scallion but it was really crispy!), sezchuan chili oil wonton (lightly spicy and numbing really good wonton with the peanut!) the dandan noodles (very nutty delicious noodles) and the Xiao long bao (delicious hot and the ginger was fresh) Was really pleased about the scan to order at the table! The best part is my area has brick and mortar stores where I just walk in and buy my meal prep for the week...Meals cooked in a local kitchen by real chefs with local fresh ingredients. I'm busy all the time and although I love cooking it's hard to cook for just one person. The majority of meals are 600 calories or less. An easy way for me to stay in my calorie deficit.
