“I ate a veggie sandwich with an acai bowl and some bbq chips. Honestly, not that bad. The sandwich was simple. I have found that simple is sometimes the most delicious. The bathroom was very clean. Tables..everything was clean and neat. We also ordered a large chamango which was so good. Highly recommend .“

We tried Artifact on mothers day, they were busy so i am taking that into consideration. Their appetizers were 10/10. Solid drinks as well.
But the main dishes were so underwhelming. Came out cold and with unbalanced flavours.

The housemade focaccia deserves a special mention: airy, perfectly seasoned, and quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. For the main course, I enjoyed the bucatini all’amatriciana. The pasta was clearly house-made, cooked to perfection, and the sauce had that authentic depth of flavor that only true Southern Italian cooking delivers. We finished with an affogato, which was the ideal ending—simple, rich, and satisfying. Monzu offers authentic Southern Italian fare with genuine hospitality, and everything we tried reflected both freshness and craftsmanship. “I was visiting my sister and we were looking for a quick place to eat. When we arrived, the restaurant looked nice, but it was surprisingly empty, which made me wonder why. We decided to give it a try, sat down, and ordered our food.

The service was fast, and OMG—the food was absolutely delicious! I was genuinely surprised that this place wasn’t packed. The quality of the food for the price was outstanding and definitely worth it.

“We had a great dining experience at Urban Plates in Long Beach. Mariana explained the menu choices in a very unrushed manner, and we decided on the steak. I ordered the Chimichurri grass-fed steak with balsamic brussel sprouts and herb-roasted potatoes. All of it was delicious ( and healthy too!). The deserts were absolutely killer too. We will definitely eat here again next time we're in Long Beach.“

“One of the best restaurants I’ve been to! We loved everything we tried on the menu, and were sad to hear it’s being discontinued for a new spring menu—especially the filet mignon, which was incredibly tasty.

But the best part was the service: We lost some documents, and we thought we'd left them there. The entire staff was cooperative and friendly. They even gave us a follow-up call. “This was my first time visiting with my best friend. Since we were both craving dumplings, we decided to give this place a try.

When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and invited to sit at any available table. Ordering was simple through a QR code at the table.
We ordered the Orange Flavored Chicken, Cucumber Salad, Xiao Long Bao (8), and Crab Meat & Pork Xiao Long Bao (8). I also ordered the Mongolian Beef to go.

The Orange Flavored Chicken was crispy and flavorful without being overly sweet, making it a great way to start the meal. The Cucumber Salad was light, refreshing, and finished with a pleasant aromatic flavor. For the main dishes, the Xiao Long Bao had a rich, savory broth that paired perfectly with vinegar. The Crab Meat & Pork Xiao Long Bao was especially satisfying and filling but a little dry. The Mongolian Beef is spicy and savory. It goes well with rice.

Although the restaurant is small, it feels comfortable and welcoming. During our visit, the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, which made for an enjoyable dining experience. Overall, we had a great first visit and would happily return.“

My husband used it the first morning for breakfast sandwich. He raved about how delicious the sandwich was and it looked great. We’ve been back the 2nd & 3rd days to have lunch each time. They have an extensive menu and everything we’ve had has been delicious. Sandwiches are on delicious bread and with plenty of meat and cheese. “What an amazing experience! Everything we tried was delicious. The knots, cheese bread, and pizza were absolutely incredible, and the wings outstanding.

The service was exceptional from start to finish. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome. My daughter really wanted one of their shirts, and even though they said it was the last one, they were kind enough to let her purchase it. That small gesture meant a lot to her and made our visit even more memorable.

“I pass by Big Front Door often heading to work. Decided to stop in and give it a try this afternoon. I got their Cobbler salad and my friend got the chicken parmesan sandwich. The portion sizes are very generous, I asked for extra dressing with my salad and didn't really need it as there was a decent amount left. The food tasted great and was served up without much of a wait time. The star of the show was the gentleman that helped us though! I wish I had taken the time to get his name to give him proper credit. He greeted us, made small talk while my friend and I decided what to have and as we were leaving he offered to clear our table for us. Very polite and friendly! I will definitely be adding this to my list of regular places to go.“
