“We were in town for vacation ordered on the phone and was told will be ready in 10 minutes. Drive to Oceanside. We were in Carlsbad, 16 minutes away. Only to be turned around because they have two locations. Called them back to confirm and food was ready but at that point I didn’t want my food food and also lost my appetite after a day at legoland. So maybe clearer address updates or something.“

Service and food are awesome. Restaurant is really clean in dining area. Restroom could use some TLC . We will definitely be coming back. If your looking for great food this is the place. Dinner portions are shareable so be sure to bring your appetite. Nothing worse than paying for food and leaving half on the plate.“

“I am EXTREMELY sad to see that this place has apparently close down. Was EASILY my favorite place to get chinese in town, and honestly in the next three towns as well. Great flavor, great cooking method, always a ton of portions, just full class all the way.“

“Pan Pan Wok is one of my go-to spots for both lunch and dinner, especially because it’s so close to my UPS Store in Vista. The food is consistently good, the portions are filling, and service is usually quick, perfect when I need something reliable during a busy day.

If you like spicy, you cannot pass on their hot and spicy soup. We have turned on several friends to that dish alone! “Excellent quality for fast Chinese. Garlic tofu on lunch menu included, zucchini, mushroom mushrooms, peppers and onions. Delicious and inexpensive. As a vegetarian, I’m accustomed too one choice on a lunch menu primarily composed of cabbage. But this was a pleasant surprise. I’ll be back! Thank you.“

“We had an amazing experience at Pan Pan Wok in San Diego! We walked in with a party of 10 just 30 minutes before closing, and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us. They were kind enough to prepare fresh food for our entire group, and everything tasted incredible.

The employees were extremely friendly and made us feel genuinely welcome, encouraging us to take our time and enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. It’s rare to find that level of hospitality, especially so close to closing time.

“Joyee's was one of our favorites so we were upset to see it gone, but with renewed hope saw the signage still there, so it looks like it's a re-brand rather than a completely different restaurant. I'm not sure if some recipes changed but I loved Joyee's spicy boiled beef and would get it at least three times a month. After the re-brand to Chef's Wok & Dumplings the flavor was much more subdued to my great disappointment. The same can be said for the cumin beef, the flavor was a lot milder that what I was accustomed to from this location.

The dan dan noodles and spicy wontons seem to remain the same so that is good! For the positive changes, the spicy crispy chicken was improved from what I remember and the meat on the cumin beef was much more tender.

I do miss the bolder flavors though, so I do wish in the future we can choose how spicy to make the food to accomodate since not everyone likes more bland americanized chinese food and the authenticity is what kept us coming back to Joyee's.“

“We walked in with half an hour to close and still had a phenomenal experience. I don't always like pho but this was amazing. Ordered the #2 (rare steak) and it was only $1 more for the large. 10/10 will be back, ideally earlier in the day!“

“I absolutely love this little place.Great quick food and service. They have lunch specials which are approximately $10.55 They come with egg drop soup, fried or white rice, and lo mein noodles. Their Szechuan chicken is definitely delicious and loaded with fresh veggies . Go give this place a try .You won't be disappointed 😋

“I tried to leave a survey on the panda survey but it didn’t let me highlight Anita the cashier at the time, she had great customer service and helped accommodate us, and was super nice about recommending additional items. I don’t frequrnet this location often but I will be back the staff from front to back was great!“

“PAN PAN puts Panda to shame!!!! $12 + $1.50 for a 2-item that is absolutely loaded!!!!! The restaurant itself is in need of an upgrade but that is neither here nor there. The food is on par and the portions are fantastic. A true Chinese to go! Get the BBQ Pork and the $1 upgrade coconut shrimp.. This is my go to spit for sure“

“Very good combo plate. Rice is fluffy and perfectly cooked. Chow mein is excellent. Broccoli beef is the best I’ve had and the orange chicken tastes amazing , like real oranges , with perfect amount of crunch. Wide selection of canned beverages. Family owned restaurant with very friendly people. Reasonable priced and large portions. I also like they can make fresh chow mein when requested.“

“We were starving and had dinner here. There was a line to order and we waited for about 10mins and another 10 for our food. We ordered the spicy tom yum soup which was good but was not a fan of the noodles in it. The soup was good though and it had a lot of shrimps, squid and mushrooms. My favorite was the Pala fried rice, it has a smoky flavor and was well seasoned. The pork buns were good too.

The staff are friendly and you can see the kitchen staff working really hard to get the orders out as soon as they can. Prices are reasonable and serving sizes were huge.“

“I just want to say that I'm so overjoyed that this Panda Express location offers Beyond Orange Chicken, and honestly I've almost been coming here weekly, for the past 6 weeks or so, since I first found out about it. We actually have 3 Panda Express locations closer to home but none of them offer it, and so I had no idea it was "back", per se, and only found out via random search. Thank you so much and please keep it on the menu!!! Honestly, this particular location really does a great job overall, especially considering the large crowds at times. He took a 2 minute mundane interaction and turned it into a reason to smile for the day, it’s very rare for people to do that nowadays and it was very appreciated. “Love Panda. The orange chicken was probably made an hour ago, which is hard to believe, but it wasn't as warm and tangy as usual. That's ok 8/10 it's pretty darn good. We can't ignore the situation on the entrees, but they try to make up with keeping the chow meeting and fried rice at full size(less room for entrees in box, did you notice smaller shallower paper box) but honestly I could barely finish it back in the day. Everything is going up. Complaining won't help, I suppose. Food is still pretty yummy. Never got food poisoning from Panda, so that's a plus😁“
