“When it comes to fast food, ESPECIALLY mcdonalds, getting orders wrong is just part of the heartache. I frequent this one the most since it's closest to my house, and honestly, they've only gotten my order wrong once. So, for that reason, yall can have a nice 4 star rating.

“This is the best coffee I’ve ever had, and I’m from Seattle! I’ve been looking for good coffee for months on the San Diego area, now this is my favorite coffee place in the world!
Naturally sweet beans, chocolate forward so the sweetness comes from the bean and not a burned bitter flavor. Perfect! Shop has eclectic vibe and fun stuff for sale, like cassette tapes and a view master! I recommend no other place for coffee!“

“I had an absolutely delicious iced matcha latte at Blue Mug yesterday. The matcha flavor was superb and it was perfect for the heat wave. The bathroom was clean, and the staff was friendly. It was very nice inside and a great place to grab coffee, a pastry, or a sandwich. I cannot wait to go back.“

“This morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee, with my wife, at Steady State Roasting. The first thing I noticed was the open and airy atmosphere. The hanging plants only added to the ambiance. My wife delightfully sipped from a latte, while I had a house coffee. The house coffee was uniquely flavored, a bit bitter. Steady State Roasting has reusable stirring spoons, which is eco-friendly. Finally, they offer indoor and outdoor seating, to optimize the moment. Yes, this experience was worthy of a return visit.“

“Literally ordered coffee 3 days in a row from El Kafecito. I was in Escondido visiting family and one of the things I enjoy doing is trying little coffee shops in the general area and one look at El Kafecito's menu and I was SOLD! I tried the horchata late which was delicious but not mind blowing... It reminded me of a vanilla latte. I'm not usually a mocha girl but their iced Mexican mocha was tasty! The winner for me was the dulce de leche latte. Oh my gosh. I am partial to caramel coffee flavors so I'm not surprised I loved it. All in all I wish I had an El Kafecito in my hometown, I feel like I'm already going through withdrawals lol. Beats out any big brand coffee company by far. Please give this wonderful place your business. You won't regret it!“

“I hit up cosmic bloom to meet a friend for coffee last week. It was my first time there but I had an amazing maple bourbon flavored iced coffee that the owner recommended. It was probably one of the best cups of coffee I’ve ever had. Furthermore the overall atmosphere and vibe here is on another level. I love the collection of VHS movies on the shelves. Highly recommended checking out cosmic bloom. will definitely be back.“

“This place is the cutest. And they have the yummiest tea ever. I love the pink decor and small deliberate choices to make each and every experience on your visit memorable. I'm not a huge fan of their homemade bread, but I think it's vegan bread. I appreciate the attention to detail and care, but I would also like some choices for bread. Other than that, we haven't tried much else, so it's hard to make a firm opinion about the food when I haven't had much. But, the bathroom is also very nice, and the place has a homey feeling and nice staff. It's worth a try.

They also have a generous drink remake policy — if you try a new flavor and don’t like it, they’ll make you a new one! This location is great about supporting the community, too! They’re always doing fundraisers, which is how we first found out about them.

“We stopped by Lofty Coffee this morning because the Turkish latte on the menu sounded interesting, and after trying their drinks and food I am very surprised that they don’t have a 5 star rating. This coffee place is for you if you love flavorful coffee that has very balanced flavors of herb/spices and isn’t super sweet and syrupy. My husband got the seasonal peppermint latte and I got the Turkish latte and both were amazing.

Their made in-house pastries are also DELICIOUS! The matcha doughnut, which was topped with crushed pistachios and dried rose petals, is a must try! We also enjoyed their orange-cranberry rosemary scone so much that we grabbed an extra to go after we devoured the first one. You really can’t beat freshly made pastries and flavorful coffee.“

“Oh my gosh, I wish I would have known about this place sooner! Lovely little place, very sweet employee. We had the DELICIOUS gelato there, and took a chocolate cheesecake to go. As we finished our transaction, that last croissant was calling to me. There was a customer behind us, so I let her go ahead, silently whispering *just please don't buy the croissant*. She didn't and I was able to! Getting in the car I asked hubby if he wanted some. He said no, he wanted to get home and heat it up. Idk if he thought that was going to deter me, but I can guarantee you it did not. I took one bite and immediately regretted that there had been only one and as a good wife I was going to have to share this. I am unaware of what I said after that, but hubby decided he needed to try it and in 3 min it was gone. The whole thing.
Now let me say this, I have eaten more than my share of baked goods. Some people smoke, some people drink. I like my sweets. And I can generally tell when things are made with butter versus shortening. This was butter. It was amazing. If I knew when they came out of the oven, I would be there, because I can only imagine how wonderful that would be. I can't wait to go back and try more things, but I will call first to set aside a croissant. Or two. Or five.“

“This is the best cafe I’ve ever been to. Definitely a little pricey but worth every single penny. I’d come back everyday if I could. The desserts are perfect light airy and not too sweet. “SKC is a nice place to stop for breakfast if you have your dogs with you and are looking for a gluten-free meal.

Our short rib and hashbrown cakes was very good, perfectly flavored on the mild-side, and a filling portion to enjoy.

Our Monterey omelet was missing something, we cannot figure out what should be added or left out. The bacon was great, but we lost the rest of the flavoring.“

“I’m not usually around the Oceanside area, and this was my first time here. It’s a cute spot, laid back and the staff is friendly, but I ended up taking someone else’s order—which I agree is on me—but my name was on the receipt and it came out around the time I was told it’d be ready. I was in a rush, no one else walked up and the employee there had only double checked my name and not the order, again on me for not clocking the incorrect dishes but I really wasn’t sure what everything’s supposed to look like. I appreciate the management for being responsive, if I’m ever there again I’d be happy to give it another shot.“

“This tea is different! When I opened the bad, I could feel the energy of it. That has never happened before and I'm a Spiritual Medium. My aunt got me a detox tea for my birthday a couple weeks ago. I started brewing a cup every morning. My environmental allergies were so bad before I started drinking this that I had to take allergy medicine every day. I haven't taken any allergy medicine since I started drinking this tea. Highly, highly recommend.“
