“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE! Though I don't go as often as before (mostly because COVID and the fact you can't take soba to-go qwq I need my cravings quenched) I still am a regular customer. Kinda on the pricy side but worth it. Long time ago, I was searching for restaurants the entire (picky) family could eat at, enjoy and approve of and I definitely got more than I bargained for. I'm a regular for their yellowtail nigiri, no wasabi and my family completely adores their Spicy Beef Udon. Sushi tastes pretty fresh, though I recently had their assorted sashimi bowl and the finish tasted a bit...old? Can't put my finger on it but they also forgot the (AMAZING) miso soup that came with it. Bummer but still enjoyed my meal. They also have great customer service :D We went 3-4 times and they were already recognizing our faces.All in all, I truly recommend. Great during non-COVID but their food is still great to-go. Maybe they could add the option to take soba to-go though, I'm hung-up on it.“

“This is one of the better Kabuki locations I’ve visited. I love that the patio is covered and heated it made for a very comfortable dining experience. Their happy hours are amazing, especially on the weekends.

We were able to order multiple rolls, entrées, and drinks for the whole family at a price that truly couldn’t be beat. The service was impeccable, a real team effort from start to finish.

This spot has definitely become our new go-to for Japanese food. Honestly, I hate to recommend it because I’d love to keep it to ourselves, but it’s too good not to share. Highly recommend!“

The menu boasts Japanese favorites that most people will be familiar with. The value-packed combos are a real treat. I've also enjoyed the chicken and beef teriyaki bowls, as well as the sushi and roll offerings. While they may not offer as many fish varieties as other places, the ones they do have are all fresh and satisfying.

For a small, mom-and-pop restaurant, I'm glad there's a place like this close to home and affordable. The service is good. I've visited many times and the owner is a man of few words. The other staff have been nice as well.

If you're on a budget and craving Japanese food, R&T is worth checking out. There is plenty of parking in the public lot.“

“This is my family's favorite sushi restaurant. The place is small and doesn't look fancy, but the fish is always fresh and offers many unique & delicious options. Some of our favorites are Kurodai, Amaebi, Black Dragon Rolls, and Honolulu Rolls. I also recommend the Tempura Udon and Chirashi Bowl.“

Super decadent, generous with the sauce (you can request a small scoop of rice for free afterwards to finish off the sauce), great noodle texture, amazing taste!! The first bite was heaven.

Looks small at first but that’s just because the bowl is big/I was struggling to finish halfway through.

“Fantasic staff! They are always so friendly and helpful! They always remember us when we come in. The shabu is fantastic. The broth selections are wonderful and you can mix and match! Produce is fresh, lots of beers on tap. Only critisism is I wish they would change their chairs, they aren’t comfortable; the food is so good though it’s worth being uncomfortable!“

“The burgers were amazing- so tender and juicy for a default medium/medium well burger! The fried chicken sandwich was also so juicy and yet crispy, in fact I think my friend and I both preferred that, please don’t tell the owners! Just kidding..but it was great. Very light batter, but just enough crunch. The mochi waffle was yummy, and the combo of hot waffle and cold ice cream was uber-comforting. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a simple but extremely well thought-out meal.“

“Amazing experience. At first I was wary when I realized the restaurant was in an older hotel next door to Disneyland but I admit I was absolutely wrong. The restaurant was good enough to be one you could find in any five star resort or Michelin guide. The service was absolutely amazing. The entire staff was welcoming and extra nice to us. The chef was from Japan and had fifty years experience as a sushi chef in Japan. The food was amazing and I can’t state that enough. It was to die for. “Ginkgo Katsu is a hidden gem for anyone craving crispy, flavorful Japanese katsu. The chicken and pork cutlets are perfectly fried — golden, crunchy on the outside, and tender inside. Portions are generous, especially with the bento boxes that come with rice, salad, and sides.“

“We went on a Friday afternoon for lunch, it was not too busy.

We ordered the tempura udon and the pork cutlet, both were delicious. We ended with the matcha bouchee, the soft cookie cream sandwich and that was unique and really good as well. Will have to come back to try more dishes!“

“I ordered a vegetable tempura bowl, which was extremely generous! The pieces of vegetables were huge. It was pretty heavy with the grease and that’s what ultimately removed a star from my review. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. I asked to add vegetables and learned that it’s not an additional price because they do it by weight. I eat Flame Broiler regularly and this is similar. The sauce at this restaurant is much lighter and the chicken is probably not as intense in flavor, but the bowl is very good. I would order it again. They have a little table with condiments and they offer the ginger which is yummy but it is the pink dyed ginger, which is unfortunate. It’s very tasty, however. They seem to do a good business with a ready supply of people wandering in to enjoy their food. The young man behind the register was very helpful and patient. They have various specials and that seems to be a good deal if you wanna take advantage of a daily special or a combination. I think the price is a reasonable, which is nice these days.“

“I came here to check out their breakfast and let me tell you I was impressed. They had this toast with avocado, onions and tomatoes 10 out of 10 I even tried their breakfast udon and the broth was so delicious. I even got into their onigiri and I tried their California their crunch the tuna and the salmon, and they were all so flavorful. But their yogurt Matcha was my favorite as well as their torch spam musubi so so good definitely you’re gonna wanna come check out for their breakfast. It is such a cute little mom and pop shop. “Found this place randomly searching for a local Japanese style restaurant and found this Gem. Tried their Chicken Curry plate as it seemed to be there go to with their BOGO promotion. The curry had a phenomenal and savory taste. I'd recommend Level 3 Spice level as it is a great blend of flavor and spice. If you're interested in having great Japanese Curry this is the spot. I also tried their potato croquette which was exquisite I ate it immediately and took a photo part way 🤣 into eating. I also have their Strawberry Matcha Latte which was a great blend and tasted perfect. Definitely coming back to try the Curry Omelet variety.
