“What a great new addition to Brea! We were impressed by the quality and variety of their offerings. You order at the counter, grab a seat, and the team brings everything out fresh. We ordered the Beef Empanadas to start and we got these mains - Salmon Bowl, Peri Peri Chicken Plate, California Burger, Gaucho Steak Sandwich to share.

The Beef Empanada was so good, with the flakey crust. Our entire party really enjoyed all the dishes, the portions were generous and tasted delicious. We also got the Triple Chocolate Cookie which was the perfect finish.

Overall, this is a great option for lunch and dinner. They also have a nice patio that’s dog friendly. Their staff was ultra friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!“

“The aroma is so heavily delicious you smell it as soon as you get out of your car. Great wine selection and the bread so soft and warm. The egg plant Parmesan was to die for. Can’t wait to return. The place was crowded, but worth the wait. Servers and cooks all working quickly to get the food out while it was hot. Happy atmosphere and very clean“

“My friend and I went here today for the first time, absolutely amazing. The first thing we said immediately was how amazing it smelled inside the restaurant. We were the only people inside the restaurant and the service was good. The phở was absolutely amazing! “I have had The One Breakfast Burrito 3 different times now and each time I have been blown away! Now prior to this I wasn't into Breakfast burritos. They were either all half cooked hash browns and lot of eggs with little to no meat. Or all the ingredients like the meat and cheese were on one side and the eggs on the other ingredients were on the other side and dry with no consistency. I love The One Breakfast Burrito!! The ingredients are fresh and they way it is built you will have meat, eggs, tater tots, cheese and sauce in every bite! The tater tots gives this burrito a different texture and taste. No dry half done potatoes. And the service is great, I oder and go pick of from Doordash.“

“After watching a movie with BTS J-hope nearby, our group grabbed a quick lunch at nearby Thai 7 Bistro at 1:30 pm. It was pouring outside, so we appreciated the indoor dining space and that our group of five was able to fit (thanks to the other customers who swapped tables so Thai 7 Bistro could put two tables together for us).

Since it was raining, a warm soupy dish sounded good. The kao soi ($21.95) caught most of our eyes so three of us each ordered that. I got mines with beef brisket. Crispy chicken wings were an option, but I didn't want to deal with the bones and with the wings potentially getting soggy in the soup. I usually get pad see ew or a curry or crab fried rice, so I never had kao soi before. And now that I had it, it will be part of my standard Thai food order now! I love that there were noodles in this dish plus topped with crispy noodles. The soup was almost as thick as curry. Beef brisket wasn't too fatty either. It all just went well together! I also ordered a Thai iced tea ($4.50) and that was delicious, a good balance of sweet with my very savory meal.

It did take a while for us to get the check since the restaurant got busy, but we appreciated being able to pay separately for our own order rather than try to split the bill five ways with different orders.

We had all parked at the parking structure by the theater, so it was a quick walk back. There are some street parking spots up front, but we preferred the covered parking structure given the rain.“

“This is a surprisingly nice restaurant inside Nordstrom's. The server was excellent. We were not rushed but he appeared the moment we needed something. The food was very good. I have had the burger and another time, the fried chicken sandwich. My friends had the salad nicoise which was delicious and filling. For the evening, the cocktails are good as well. The window seating is lovely since until the weather is warm enough for their terrace seating. Take the elevator to the 5th floor, and you won't be tempted by the January sales.“

“We stopped by IHOP for a late-night dinner and were greeted promptly with no wait time—seated right away, which was a great start. Our server, Rosario, was very friendly and gave us a few minutes to look over the menu before taking our drink orders.

Our family ordered breakfast items, including omelets and the Split Decision plates. My wife’s Build Your Own Omelet came out missing a couple of ingredients, but impressively, the kitchen and Rosario caught the mistake before we even had a chance to say anything and fixed it right away.

I did end up grabbing condiments myself after asking, but Rosario appeared to be the only server managing five other tables and handling to-go orders—so it’s understandable. She definitely deserves some extra support, but she stayed friendly and professional throughout.
