“Roll & Teriyaki is a good local spot for delicious, fast-casual Japanese food at affordable prices. The quiet and clean dining area will accommodate small groups or solo diners.

The menu boasts Japanese favorites that most people will be familiar with. The value-packed combos are a real treat. I've also enjoyed the chicken and beef teriyaki bowls, as well as the sushi and roll offerings. While they may not offer as many fish varieties as other places, the ones they do have are all fresh and satisfying.

For a small, mom-and-pop restaurant, I'm glad there's a place like this close to home and affordable. The service is good. I've visited many times and the owner is a man of few words. The other staff have been nice as well.

“Recently had lunch as a first-timer, and I enjoyed my meal. I've been eyeing this place for awhile, thanks to social media. The menu offers plenty of tasty options, from ramen to sushi and sushi rolls, udon, soba, rice bowls, and more. Vegetarian options are also available.

I ordered the Spicy Ramen along with a couple of pieces of nigiri sushi. The Spicy Ramen has a flavorful pork-and-chicken broth that's not too heavy, and the spice level is medium. Ask for more spice if you like the heat. The pork chashu was thin, but very tender and tasty with a bit of melt-in-the-mouth fat still.

I also ordered yellowtail sushi and seared peppered salmon sushi. Both cuts were delicious and prepared well.

The staff was kind and attentive. The dining area is spacious with plenty of tables and is kept clean. Some pleasant-looking decor as well. Parking can be tricky as the plaza has other popular businesses, and the lot can fill up fast. Can't wait to try more of the menu soon.“

“I had an amazing experience at the Kobe Gyukatsu restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. “Had the chicken katsu bento. The chicken was nice and crispy, to the point that you could hear the crunch in every bite, while still being nice and juicy. It was accompanied by a really good potatoe salad, but the best side was the hijiki salad. It was nice and refreshing. Everything was made to order and fresh, as soon as I opened it, the steam gave away how good it was.“

“This place is one of my favorite spots for pork cutlet. The food is always delicious, and the portions are very generous. You don’t even need a long explanation—it’s simply tasty. If you order the combo menu, you’ll definitely leave with a full stomach. The ingredients are fresh, and the presentation of the dishes is neat and appealing. Highly recommend!

It's been a long time since I ate at the restaurant. It's the best tonkatsu restaurant in the OC area. The price is reasonable, the combo meal composition is very good, and the quality of the food is also very satisfactory.

The thickness of the pork cutlet and the taste/dish of frying were all done very well.

I also praise the staff's quick and accurate service. All my colleagues who went with me praised the food.

“Starting with the food. I got the fresh salmon, popping salmon, fluffy egg, and grilled spicy pork. I liked the fluffy egg and grilled spicy pork the best.
Fresh salmon is alright. It is what it is with basically poke quality salmon. Light and refreshing.
Popping salmon has like sort of a buldak/rameny flavor for the marinade which I didn’t like but my partner liked. Not too spicy.
Grilled spicy pork is fairly typical dwaegi gogi, which i like so i’m a little biased. i thought it was good with the yubu. Plenty of pork marinade seeping through the rice. Not very spicy.
Fluffy egg did not have as much roe as the picture lead me to believe but it was good. It also had a few salmon roe for some reason but I liked it. Nice and savory. Egg was wet-ish and soft. nice.

Prices are fairly reasonable. I’d say 3-4 would be a pretty filling meal for the average person. about $5-7 each yubu after tax. I’ve never seen a yubu restaurant before. Vibes are kind of grab and go but they have a decent amount of seating for like groups of 4-5 maybe (like 3-4 tables)

Pretty okay neat looking modern place on the inside. I might try again if I was craving something in particular. I wanted to try the Garlic Butter Crab that other reviews were talking about.“

With dining out becoming so expensive these days, it’s refreshing to find a place that offers both amazing flavor and great value. The plates are perfectly balanced with fresh salad, well-seasoned meat, and just the right amount of rice.

“Came by Ozen Sushi in Buena Park for a late-night AYCE run and it was solid overall. It’s one of the few sushi spots around that stays open until 2AM, which already makes it convenient. The menu has a lot to choose from—rolls, nigiri, hand rolls, carpaccio—and the portions felt fair. I liked that the rice wasn’t overly heavy, so you don’t feel stuffed too fast. Out of everything we tried, the yellowtail carpaccio and baked crawfish roll stood out the most. Both had good flavor and didn’t feel rushed or sloppy. The Aloha Roll, Ozen Roll, and spicy scallop handroll were all decent too, just not as memorable for me. Service was fine and the place was clean, nothing fancy but comfortable enough to hang out for a bit. Overall, a reliable AYCE option, especially if you’re craving sushi late at night.“
