“First, let me say that I don’t usually write reviews. I will add that I travel a lot and try to get sushi as my dinner whenever I am on the road so I’ve patronized a lot of sushi restaurants, mostly in the US and Canada. Roll and Teriyaki is one of those places that compelled me to write a review. I had the miso soup, the 12 piece sashimi dish, the rainbow roll, and the caterpillar roll. The miso soup was good. The sashimi was very good. The rainbow roll was fantastic. And, the caterpillar roll was so unbelievably good that I almost didn’t want to swallow. All that at a more than super reasonable price. “This place did not appear automatically on Google Maps and we just saw it in the area. But so glad we did! Got the donkatsu (Donkkaseu) combo with soba. Portions were pleasantly larger than expected and we felt contently full afterwards. The katsu was fried perfectly and had a nice crunch! The donkatsu had lots of meat, and there were also side dishes that came with the meal!

It definitely felt like we got our value's worth.“

“We are traveling on our honeymoon and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The guy who served us is extremely kind and nice. He responded courteously to all our doubts or questions. The food is spectacular, the kobe meat is excellent and the miso soup very tasty. The soy sauce is in a very good variant that goes perfectly with rice and meat. We really enjoyed this fusion cuisine. Highly recommended!“

“The chicken nanban was great! My only complaint is that by the time I had gotten it it home (about 5-6 mins), the Karage was no longer crispy! However, the nanban tartar sauce was very good, and made up for the lack of crunch.

The furikake being provided for you to take is a HUGE PLUS!“

“This is a great place to go out and eat! I've been coming here for a while. I also really like the variety of foods and sushi they have here. I really like the chicken teriyaki bento and the avocado rolls and hand rolls. And I think the spicy ramen is the best here! You should definitely come visit here!“

“It's been a long time since I ate at the restaurant. It's the best tonkatsu restaurant in the OC area. The price is reasonable, the combo meal composition is very good, and the quality of the food is also very satisfactory.

The thickness of the pork cutlet and the taste/dish of frying were all done very well.

I also praise the staff's quick and accurate service. All my colleagues who went with me praised the food.

“This was my first experience with a Golden Bowl, and I must say that the food was much better than I expected. I got a chicken plate and the Chicken was good. The teriyaki wasn't too sweet, the rice was perfectly sticky, and the salad was great. Thank you to the staff there. (it was odd hearing Mariachi in a Japanese food restaurant, but I dug it).

“Atoyubu is a cool fusion restaurant specializing in these cute tofu pockets of rice and choice of topping. I got the fresh salmon, bulgogi, butter crab, and spicy tuna (this was so spicy omg). Definitely not an on the go kinda meal because sauce gets everywhere and it’s best eaten right away because it can get soggy real quick!

Prices are fair at $4-5 each. The line can get pretty long but food is out within minutes. Parking also sucks as it is really small.“

“This is a nice spot for both all-you-can-eat and à la carte menu. The rice portion in their sushi is just right—not too big—and each piece comes with an impressive amount of sashimi. Their roll variety is extensive, and the set meals from the à la carte menu are delicious and well-priced. The service is vrey friendly and attentive. Food was quite quick. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for casual dining.“

“I come here very often, the food is always fresh and on point. You really get a great deal on AYCE sushi especially if you upgrade to the sashimi package. Everyone is always really friendly and ready to answer questions or suggest a popular or favorite item. I just left and already can't wait to get back!
