I ordered the steamed dumplings with sweet red bean and the steamed dumpling with pork and vegetables, and I’m still dreaming about them. Each order came with four softball-sized dumplings — massive, tender, and generously filled. These weren’t your average restaurant dumplings (which so often feel half-empty). Myungin’s dumplings are overflowing with rich, juicy filling that melts in your mouth. They were soft, pillowy, and as tender as 어머니의 사랑처럼 부드럽다 (a mother’s love).

To start, my table was presented with a spicy daikon salad and a crisp shredded lettuce salad — simple, refreshing, and perfectly balanced against the hearty dumplings. The service was exceptional — kind, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. It’s clear that this team takes pride in their food and their guests.

The restaurant is clean, comfortable, and handicap accessible, with a large lot offering free parking. There’s something for everyone here — from meat lovers to vegetarians — and each dish is prepared with care.

I’m heading back home to Seattle this week, and I already know I’ll be longing for my return to Myungin Dumplings. Thankfully, my hotel has a refrigerator, because I fully intend to take some of these heavenly buns home with me — if they make it that far!

“I had an amazing experience at the Kobe Gyukatsu restaurant. From the moment I walked in, the service was truly outstanding—friendly, attentive, and welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Everyone LOVES it! Freshly made to order, with what I call their secret red sauce. I do not usually like red sauce, but I love theirs.

“We made a reservation for 7pm on a Friday night. Had to wait through a lot of Knott's Scary Farm traffic just to get in the parking lot though. Even though we had a reservation, we still ended up waiting about 10-15 minutes past that time, but we could see that there were open tables available. I figured since it is wide open inside, it'd be pretty loud, but it really wasn't bad. We could still hold a conversation and hear each other well, even though there were music videos playing and lots of people around us. Our servers were really attentive. Our main server had to take a break and was really transparent about handing us off to someone else. We ordered a Bloody Mary (spicy!! but safe), and a strawberry basil margarita (decent). For our meals we got the Bill Graham BBQ Chicken Pizza, which was excellent. It had lots of flavor, the perfect amount of cheese, and wasn't greasy or soggy at all. I'd be hard-pressed to order something different if we ever visit a R&B again! We also got the Blackened Chicken Pasta, which was very good too - just the right amount of spice, good flavors, and the chicken was perfect. Overall, we had a really good experience at Rock & Brews, and would come back if we're ever visiting the area again.“

If you have allergies I would probably not go to this place. Based on my experience with other restaurants at Knotts, they do not take food allergies very seriously.“

Answered our questions and gave us information we didn’t have already to help make sure we got the most of our experience. He directed us to the Information building where they answered all our questions and informed us about the validation for parking we had paid for today and applied it to our purchase for season parking the rest of this year.
