“Probably best to try to visit during slower times as we found free parking pretty close, which was nice. Our food came out in a reasonable amount of time and service was very friendly and attentive, like the definition of why we love small businesses. Since I was dining with my husband we did the ole half and half so I got to try the Oklahoma Sunset and the Our Go To Italian. While the Oklahoma Sunset isn't really my style when it comes to sandwiches, I couldn't argue with the overwhelming love for it in the reviews so I went that route and was so glad I did. I was less impressed with the Italian, but, and that's a big BUT, I don't like parsley and that was, for me, the dominant flavor in the herb oil. So while I wouldn't recommend that sandwich, it's just preference. My husband enjoyed both but the clear winner was the Oklahoma Sunset. Definitely will be back and looking forward to it.“
“Awesome pizza, good vibe. Love supporting a well run local family run business. The owner is passionate about the stuff he makes and is there working, firing up the pizzas in the oven. Really enjoyed talking to him while sitting at the bar.“
“Went there during lunch rush but was still seated quickly. Good energy. Clean environment. Friendly staff. Had music playing in the background, not too loud that you can't talk with another person.I had a salad and surprisingly got full.Parking is paid parking, it is located on 2nd street.“
“This is a great place to enjoy great food and drink with friends. It's a very chill atmosphere, you can dine in or outdoors. The food was very tasty. The Cobb salad was huge. Meatballs were so yummy, well seasoned, pretty big, loved the artichoke dip, so frikken good. The portion sizes are decent.Wine selection is huge, plenty of great choices. Staff attentive, friendly, and competent, they know their wines, and thoroughly explain the wines you order. And yes,you can buy bottles of wine to go.If you have gluten intolerance/ allergies, their pizzas are made with cauliflower crust, this place is for you.I tried the bacon ,wrapped dates, initially I thought sounds weird/ questionable, omg! The best appetizer ever,a must try. There are 2 decent sized, clean, bathrooms. They have live music on Sundays.Only downside ,parking is terrible in this general area. It's just crowded on the streets, and there are other shops, great places to eat nearby.“
“I've been reading a lot lately about finding a "third place". A place outside of work and home where you can relax, socialize, build your community. Wine on 2nd fits the bill. The owners and the staff are so welcoming, as are the other guests. The vibe is perfect. Chill, calm. I got the baked brie and it was absolutely delicious! Is one of my favorite dishes anyway and when it's done right, chef's kiss. I paired it with a sparkling wine and it was exactly what I needed.I'm already in love with this place, parking is easy, the location is great. Come and go grab a glass of wine and then go enjoy the Christmas lights or come here after. It's easy to get to, incredible ambiance. I can see why it won best wine bar last year. I expect it will do it again this year.Vegetarian options: I'm a vegetarian and a lot of the dishes are vegetarian. As in made to have a full set of flavors, not just a garden salad.“
“We've been wanting to try this new restaurant and finally came by. I will say you will not regret it. The food is fresh and delicious. Flavors are on point and service is great. Plenty of parking. Ambiance is great. We'll definitely be back to try new plates. Michelada was yummy.“
“A fabulous reprieve from the insanity that is Disney mania in Anaheim! Tucked away off the main street, they have gorgeous indoor and outdoor dining options. I wandered into Colony Wine Merchant after walking 2 miles north during my recent trip out West for a concert. The staff there welcomed me with open arms and explained their concept. Colony Wine Merchant is a wine retailer, restaurant, and wine school. I settled in at the bar and watched regular after regular waltz in on a Friday night, escaping the unexpected drizzle that evening. Without a doubt, they were offered the flight of the week, or their usual wine as they reviewed the menu or waited for friends and family to join. I had a glass of white wine and ordered the marinated olives and the citrus & fennel salmon. Both were highly recommended by the staff. As I read my book and leisurely ate my dinner, I couldn't help but feel so at peace. The dimly lit dining area, beautiful artwork and free-flowing conversations felt like a cozy dream! I sat for hours and never felt any pressure to leave or order more. When it was time to check out, they dropped the most delicious piece of chocolate on my receipt and I happily went back to my room to sleep. I would HIGHLY recommend this restaurant for friends to catch up, a nice dinner date with a partner, or a cozy solo dinner! This was the perfect definition of a "girl dinner"!“
“We were there with a party of 20 last night. The food was very good, prices are a little over the top. The service was great. Our server had a challenge with space and our party but got everything out to us correctly. I belive her name was “
“Fantastic Experience!Beautiful inside :) It is a good choice for people who enjoy a good atmosphere. Good place to dine in with a group of friends.Very friendly and attentive staff.Food is delicious. The margherita pizza and arancini was my favorite. The pasta texture was really chewy and nice. I also really like that there are accommodations and additional choices. However, I wish there was cold water.I would definitely come again and try out other items on the menu. I definitely recommend this place!“
“Pretty neat spot!Joined the cast of Cheers as I poured my own beers tonight, obligatory terrible pour with a mountain of foam, of course. Still, was fun to play bartender and get to try more beers than I typically would. You scan your ID and electronic form of payment with the cashier at the start. You receive a small device, think if a plastic bottle opener and a cigar cutter reproduced, and then off you go! Grab a glass, hope it's the right one for the style of sip you'll be selecting, make your choice, scan your device, and pour to your hearts content (and glassware's capacity)! Reconcile your tab at the counter where you scanned your ID. Such a unique concept and methodical way to save on labor costs and embrace the self-service way of consumerism. The beer assortment had some tasty choices, definitely will be back again to this Sweet Factory style brewery where you pay by the ounce!Beers were $0.59 per ounce, doing the math, a bit pricier for a standard pint, but a nice spin on the usual tasting house routine. Glassware was picked up often by the tending staff, makes sense if you're adding a tip at the close of your tab. Food truck rolled up in the evening (Fruti Di Mare) and it looked like a steady demand for lobster rolls, fish and chips, and other surf delights.“
“This restaurant is new one in this area. Me and 3 of my friends had a reservation for private room. The room was decorated so nice, and their food was so good! FYI, my favorite food is cream pasta. I can say, their cream pasta is the best! It is even better than Olive Garden. We had such a great time. Thank you. I will definitely go back again.“
“The menu at Diddy's Place Sports Bar is a delightful fusion of classic sports bar favorites and creative twists. From mouthwatering wings and juicy burgers to tasty nachos and loaded fries, their food options are sure to satisfy any craving. Plus, they have a great selection of craft beers and specialty cocktails to complement your meal.“
“Awesome ambiance and great hospitality, stopped by with a few coworkers for some drinks and was very happy I did . Food and drinks are amazing . This place exceeded my expectations and every staff member is so kind , really recommend coming here you won't be disappointed!“
“P&J deli market has some of the best food in Montebello, you have to try!Just destroyed a breakfast burrito, the owner made the eggs "Mexicana style" with onions, tomatoes and jalapenos and it was amazing. He grated the hash browns as well, and this burrito was amazing. It was not greasy or salty, but full of fresh flavor!I've had a lot of breakfast burritos in my life, and this has to be one of the best I've ever had. The owner put a lot of hard work and attention to make such a masterpiece, you have to get one yourself!Check them out, you won't be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Owner will customize your orders, they aim to pleaseWheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in from the parking lot“
“This place is one of my absolute favorites in Whittier! The burgers are amazing, and I love their selection of Belgian beers. I am no oyster expert, but I tried them once and they were great! My partner and I come here often and have never been disappointed. The servers are amazing and always friendly. Highly recommend!“
“Everything about this place was really good. I had the sea bass on a bed of spinach. The sauce that came with it was excellent. My date had steak and lobster, and they were both delicious. This is a great place to have a meal but fair prices and good service. We will definitely be back.Parking: There is street parking and some lots, but it does get busy. Don't let that stop you, I have always found a spot within a short walk .“
“The Twisted Vine has a funky old school kinda vibe. My first visit here and it was perfect for a first date. Not too dark, not too loud with a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and very reasonable prices. They serve wine by the glass or bottle. Between the 2 of us, we tried three different wines, a pinot noir and a red blend, which were both very good and a McPrice Myers Cab, which was excellent.I didn't rate the food as we didn't order any, but the food I observed other customers being served looked appealing and delicious.I give this place my highest recommendation. It's definitely worth a visit.Parking: My data and I arrived separately, and we were both able to find street parking. There is a large paid ($5 fee) public parking lot behind the building, but as our visit was on a Saturday night, the lot was full.“
“Staff is very friendly, didn't have to wait long to be seated (depending on the day of the week), and kid friendly as well. You get to see smaller jets/planes and sometimes helicopter land and take off.. Their mimosas are good, too. Walking in is like an airplane runnway. Some of the booths have plane buttons and controls, which the little ones love. Good portion foods and their homemade fries style are delicious, but this last time were kinda burt and a little too greasy, but I still rate 10/10.“
“We were staying at this hotel with a group of 10 kids and adults. We originally had dinner reservations at Disney Adventure Park but the place was crushed and they told us our reservations would be delayed by up to an hour ..... so we decided to have dinner at Manchester back at the hotel and were VERY glad we did. This place is a hidden gem!The hostess/bartender (Ellen) was fantastic. Super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable and she did an amazing job churning out a huge selection of drinks, even making some off-menu mocktails for the kids. Its worth it to visit this place just for her.The food was great and came out fast and hot. Most of us had flatbreads and they were really tasty and fresh. The mushroom flatbread in particular was really delicious.Overall would highly recommend this place for dinner, especially if you're staying at this or a nearby hotel and especially if you want a MUCH better alternative to an over-priced meal at Disney.“
“Super adorable spot! One of the chill wine bars filled with locals and different locals playing music~ Noah the wine-tender was amazing and gave amazing recs and found me my new favorite wine! Older crowd but it's seal beach there's also a wine club membership for $50! Overall I love this place and will be back for more wine and they have some board games to play with a friend or date“
“Cute little gem hidden in a random plaza in Buena Park! Hubbie and I were looking for a place to hang out after dropping off daughter to hang out for few hours. I like wine- he likes beer. We were so pleasantly surprised to find the place with a great selection of both! From the outside you wouldn't think much, but once inside, it is the most cozy and welcoming place. We chatted with the guy working there (can't remember his name but he was so friendly!), who told us that the owner likes to change up the drink menu monthly. They also have a shelf of board and trivia games to play, and host weekly trivia nights. We had a great cozy evening, and tried some excellent wine & beer for such a great price! Their flatbread was also very tasty. It is a great place to hang out and unwind for the evening. Thank you for a great time!“
“A small family owned Italian restaurant that serves great food. Our waitress was also great, very attentive and friendly. If your in Whittier, this should be one of your go to restaurants. If your in the area, stop on by, you wont be disappointed.“
“Needed an after work spot to grab a drink and this spot was a good pick. Settled under the stairs on the bottom floor of the Anaheim Packing House, this train car bar has a great menu of classic cocktails and house drink specials. It's got a cool, vintage feel to it and the bartenders put a lot of care into each order. There are tables/seating inside, and a few tiny benches in front next to the entrance to sip your drinks at. It was actually quite hard for the group of us to decide what we wanted. Everything looked great. We settled on a Penicillin; a Paper Plane; and a Lost Luggage. Everything was tasty and came out fast enough, considering you're getting hand-crafted cocktails. They've got wine and beer options, as well as a spirits list Free parking if you can find it in the APH lot. If not, street parking or valet for $8.“
“Located right next to a full-service restaurant that serves complete meals and offers a wide variety of wine selections, Mendocino Terrace is really more of a counter for wine flights that it is a full-blown wine bar. Do you have some light pickings, such as fruit, platters and other lunch-y type items, but the real purpose is to grab some glasses of wine and have a quick layover before you get on with your day. Like the other options in the section of the park, the atmosphere is very relaxed and chill. This area will probably be significantly more enjoyable for adults, and it is for a party with small children, it remains one of my favorite hideaways at any Disney park.“
“My family and I have been coming here for the past 10 years! My I'll just send is now 9 years old and we have been taking him here on and off since he was a baby. My husband and I have been dating for 11 years before he proposed to me. We both been living together as boyfriend and girlfriend in Norwalk, where we always have lunch or dinner here because it's so close to home... We literally live behind this place about a few blocks down. It's our go-to restaurant when we both say," don't know what to have, what do you want?" For the past years that we've been coming here, the waitresses have always been so beautiful and very welcoming and kind. Their food changed this year( 2023)... It seems like their shrimp ceviche recipe has changed and the plates have got smaller, and they no longer put the Mexican flag toppers on the burritos to add pizzazz... I think little details like that always makes people want to come back... This year was a different experience for us because the wet burritos were still delicious but the ceviche and seafood was no longer the same... It feels as if They have changed chefs... Either that or management... All in all. We will continue to come here if the food is good... The moment services are no longer good and food no longer good. We will find another spot. Thank you for the many years and memories in this restaurant in Norwalk.“
“I had no expectations when I first entered Pali Wine. I walked in thinking "I'll leave after a glass or two" but my thoughts were rerouted when the Saturday evening atmosphere stole my attention. Pali Wine has a nice set up of tables, bar seatings, arm chairs, and a sofa. The service at Pali Wine is friendly. They weren't hovering, and they also weren't neglectful. Came to check on us at appropriate times. We ordered the seasonal flight and cheese board. Both made for an easy share with my company. We enjoyed one of the tastings and decided to then get a glass each of our own. Unbeknownst to us - they have a live dj play a set on the weekend. It was the icing on the cake. The dj played the best old school hip hop tracks and mixed in some newer selections. The location for Pali Wine also couldn't be better. It is directly across the street from the Packing District and nestled between two restaurants all interconnected. Have a drink at Pali Wine and tacos next door. They all share the same building space and no walls divide the businesses. Well thought out plan. Overall, a wonderful experience. 10 out of 10... highly recommend.“
“Super delicious food. Our server was so nice and came to check on us every so often. Did wish we weren't seated right by the servers station though. I felt like I would almost drop one of their trays if I stood up. Other than that my valentine's date went well♡“
“Having eaten at Mortons & Ruth's Chris earlier the same week we were looking forward to Flemings. We ate early (6pm), when we arrived they put our small party of 2 next to a large loud group in a relativity empty restaurant. We immediately asked to be moved so we would be able to have a conversation over dinner. The steaks were not as great as we were expecting, they were a little over cooked and less flavorful than we had experienced at the other restaurants. Service overall was great except towards the end they were very pushy and tried to get us to rush through the meal which made us feel uncomfortable. Overall it was good but we were a little disappointed.“
“We went here on a weekday to celebrate my birthday. We're the only customer for that evening. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Although no windows but I liked the decor, simple but elegant. The wait staff were excellent. The food was okay, the price was comparable. We went there with an open mind and no expectations. Overall, it was a good experience!“
“The birria tacos were really good and reasonable price . Went after 7pm so happy hour ends at 7pm.Parking: Parking in the parking structure , or on the street if you can find it. Park at your own risk at Citibank bank after hours is open and free but they might tow since it’s private property“
“This is probably my favorite place to get a quick beer on Disney property. Sonoma Terrance is a place to get drinks to go. They have a rotating menu of craft beer, wine, and mixed drinks. The mixed drinks are often premixed, and pour out of bottles. MOBILE ORDER is your friend here. My friends are always impressed when I can put in a mobile order on the Disneyland app, and quickly walk up and grab my beer without waiting in the line. PROPS: Fast beers SLOPS: This location opens later and closes earlier than the rest of Disney California Adventure“
“Met a friend for lunch here. Pink Cadillac margaritas, flautas, Guacamole, and chips for appetizers, enchiladas and a carnitas burrito for the main course. The restaurant was almost empty so we had it virtually to ourselves. Service was good and the pace was fine. Without many other patrons the restaurant was nearly silent, making for an ideal quiet conversation. I'll be coming back again.“
“Fantastic service and Delicious food. Our server was so nice and described how the steaks were prepared before we ordered and said that the plates come out to the tables at 500° to ensure the food is hot. I ordered the Petite Filets and Shrimp, and my fiancé ordered the Ribeye. Oh my goodness, if I was able to have the sound on and smellavision you could hear the sizzling and the heavenly aroma that was presented when our meals were ready. Cooked to perfection, and anyway, you like it. I prefer mine well done, and it wasn't tough. It melted in my mouth. The Garlic Mashed Potatoes and Cesar Salad were great additions to our meals. When we walked into the restaurant we were greated with welcoming hellos and one of the hosts asked if we were celebrating anything special and we said our anniversary and then our server asked the same at the table and we said the same. At the end of our meal, our server surprised us with a special treat of Cheesecake and Berries, and on the plate was a lit candle and Happy Anniversary written on the plate. The little things made the evening a very memorable one...Parking: They only have a couple of handicap spaces“
“Magic Keys Terrace is a great addition to DCA. I hope they keep this place around. 4 stars only because of the wait, and when we got upstairs, they seemed confused to find us a spot. The server was nice and service quick. The food was excellent, and I can't wait to try more. What is great about Terrace is that it feels completely separate from the park. A little escape from the noise and crowds.“
“Best place for last minute cakes that will impress. It’s been my go to now at least 3 times when in Orange County. They always have beautiful and delicious cakes that are on hand and ready to take home. Each box comes with four candles and a cake slicer with matches too!I needed two birthday cakes for my 2 year for two back to back family things. From parking to back in my car, less than 15 min without preordering or anything.Hopefully know this will help you too! The flavors I got was an adorable strawberry and cream cake and Oreo and Strawberry cake. Not too sweet and just right.“
