“I haven’t been here for decades. I use to come here with my mom and sister to get some boba or tea to drink, yet now I come alone for the Honey Chrysanthemum tea and it’s pretty good. The staff was friendly and if there is anything you need help with, they’d be more than welcome to assist you. I love the atmosphere as well😊“

“Love this place! Cute hidden gem! Love getting my tea I usually go for a ready to go tea, nice iced tea with honey for me! I love trying all her teas she has so good! I love one from a highly caffeinated one to a calming one! She has lots of great sweet treats too! Love how it’s unique and small business owned! I call her and she has my tea already made for me! Check it out if you haven’t it’s a great hidden gem! 😍“

“So excited and proud Sugarbird finally has a storefront. My family and I have followed Chef & Owner Kei since it first started and only had regular priority mail delivery and pickup from a co-op location in Downtown LA. I stopped by after the Montrose Farmers Market, where Sugarbird was before and I believe still is for other Farmers Markets, and Kei herself was managing the store. She was nice and really excited to finally have her own storefront. I got a free tea, free clotted cream, the tea sandwich set, six scones (ube, lemon blueberry, matcha, fig & rosemary, passionfruit & earl grey) and shortbread cookies.“

“I've been to many cafes along the California coast. If you judge by vibe, peacefulness, and coffee quality, this place is an absolute 10 out of 10. Hands down, it's the best cafe in LA. It’s perfect for studying, catching up with friends, or even hosting events. The interior uses a lot of warm textures to create a calm and serene atmosphere. Great spots just make great coffee.“

“I love matcha but gave up on it long time ago since matcha here in US isn’t authentic and too sweet for me. But based on everything about Matsu matcha I saw, I decided to give it a shot and it didn’t let me down! I went there 4 times in a month, have tried ultra matcha latte, parfait and gelato, they are all good, love and recommend it“

“Sophisticated beautiful place for people who interested in history and appreciate architectural landmarks. Will highly recommend to take a tour to see another landmarks in DTLA ( reread and refresh a knowledge about LA in that time frame ) and finish the tour in Biltmore Open Table dir a full experience. It is a great gift for people we love.“
