If you pay attention to the sign on the counter, it explains the reason for the name change. Same great tasting goodie’s. I will continue to take my drive all the way from West Covina. The lady at the counter was very kind and helpful. This small plaza is very lovely and the street is a gorgeous place to take a pit stop. Lovely with a very close knit community!“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

“Delicious as always! Truly never disappoints. You can get your drinks less sweet if you want to cut the sugar a bit, especially after enjoying some sweet or savory breads. The hotdog bread, brioche, milk bun and taro are some of my favorites. Also, the Deluxe Chocolate Mousse is to die for!!! Drinks are consistent- my fave is the Seasalt coffee with coffee jelly & my sister loves the Thai Tea Boba.

First time at this location, SO happy I don't have to drive to the valley when I want a sweetie from 85. It was a Wednesday, so the selection around 6pm was scarce, although it allowed me to try a few I normally don't get or tried before. I REALLY liked the new Coconut sweet bread they had this time and I love the sea salt coffee with coffee jelly. The best pastries, always fresh and cakes are beautiful and perfectly presented. The staff today were super nice and helpful and the barista made really good drinks!“

“Really good Persian food and one plate would be able to feed 2-3 people. I got a plate with chicken, steak, and Koobideh which was served with basmati rice, Shirazi salad and a tasty bread on the bottom of the meat. The bread gave it a nice texture and a savory taste. As dessert I got a hot tea with baklava that was made from turkey and I highly recommend it, the baklava has no fructose syrup at all and was made with natural ingredients like ghee, and was so moist compared to other places where I’ve had baklava. The service was incredible our server was very attentive and gave us good recommendations! I will definitely be coming back“

But I can’t complain as they cater to ur every whim/special requests like for extras or add- ons. Customers leave happy and satisfied that’s why they keep coming back for more. My girls really enjoyed the matcha latte and avocado toast. The fresh bread spread they brought out for us to try with olives, olive oil feta, sweet cream butter and jam was a special treat! We took home a loaf of fresh rosemary sourdough to enjoy after our trip.“

“My daughter and I did a cake decorating session here and Yana was wonderful and so welcoming! She had so many toppings and fillings to choose from and let us use all the professional tools. My 3 year old absolutely loved it and made the cutest cake complete with fresh fruit. The shop is very clean and a great fun environment to work in. She even put on Disney music for us while we decorated which was a big hit with my daughter. Would definitely go back! It would be an excellent venue for a little girls birthday party or just a girls day out. I booked online through her website and it was very easy.“

“We can't rave enough about Kaye's Cake Designs! We had a last minute thought to get a Mother's Day custom cake made with figures of my Brother, Sister and I as kids. Kaye even included our cat. She matched the pictures we sent in perfectly and even had us wearing the exact same outfits. She is so very talented and the attention to detail was amazing. We couldn't stop looking at it.
