“My favorite Chinese restaurant in Santa Clarita. Golden Wok Restaurant is a small family-owned restaurant with great food and service.Located in an unassuming strip mall with plenty of free parking in the heart of Santa Clarita delivery. Takeout, delivery and dine-in options are available.The barbeque pork is lean, tender and marinated to perfection. Five stars.The noodles are firm, flavorful and fresh. Five stars.My friend loves the walnut shrimp combo plate. Five stars.The fried rice features fluffy eggs, firm peas, wok-tossed crispy rice and an umami flavor that would even make Ucle Roger proud. Five stars.My favorite dish here is the combination wonton soup. This soup is filled with handmade meaty dumplings, char sui, tender white meat chicken, and plump shrimp. The savory broth is my favorite part of the soup here and if the recipe is not a well guarded family secret, it should be! I find that saying hello in another country or language has earned me the best smile in return. I got a big smile from the lovely owner for saying hello in Mandarin: "Nee how!" (你好 Nĩ hão)The family at Golden Wok gave me a complimentary lesson in Mandarin language to go with my homemade wonton soup when I was feeling under the weather and the combination made me feel better.I cannot say enough good things about this humble restaurant. “I happen to see this new restaurant, location, and thought I would give it a try!! I ordered my favorites. Jasmine, green tea, hot and sour soup, garlic, string beans, and honey walnut shrimp. Everything was more than I expected and the garlic green beans were the best I’ve had anywhere!! The staff was very attentive yet not hovering. It was very clean and simple, decorations. Plenty of parking you just need to make sure it’s not 10 minute parking or handicapped.“

“If you like Panda Express, this is the restaurant that started it all. Food is much better here, and there is a much larger selection than Express. Friendly staff, and great portions. You will not leave hungry.
From the wontons and paper chicken, to the orange chicken and Mongolian beef. We usually go with at least 5 of us, and 3 plates feeds us all. With a couple of apps, of course.
If you've never been, give them a try.“

Vegetarian options: Many options depending on what looks best to you. One can view the menu on line, check it out. We each had two meals from what we ordered.

Parking: Free lot! Better than most places.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy in and easy out. Decent amount of handicapped parking spaces. I didn't need it this time, but will in the future.“

“My gal and I have been frequenting China Wok for over twenty years and, frankly, the food is always good. This level of service, and excellence, is a rarity--- the consistency of which is remarkable. For a real "old school" Chinese atmosphere, China Wok is it; as well, the prices are still reasonable. “We picked up a door dash order and it was missing an item. Jasli was super helpful and offered to give us a medium item to replace it. Had to wait a few minutes while it was cooked. She apologized for the inconvenience and handled the entire situation very well. All while taking care of all the other customers in line. “I LOVE this place!! The bbq pork is so good. So is the bbq chicken. So is the Jalapeño chicken. The fried fish is bomb af!! Basically everything is ridiculously good here. And they pack it up!! Only thing I wish was better is the fried rice. It's mid at best. But everything else is absolutely on point.“

“The lunch special here is amazing and for the price, it's totally worth it. I came here yesterday to grab lunch when my wife was getting her face treatment nearby. I saw this place before on Google Map and looked at it so I knew it was an option to get food from here if I was hungry. So when I was walking around the plaza this place is in, I saw that they had a lunch special and I thought it was a deal. The lunch special is the Combo B where you get 2 entree, 2 side, egg rolls and a can soda. So when I walked inside, they were already kind of busy. When it was my turn, I asked for the chow Mein, kung Pao chicken and orange chicken for my combo. They were out of orange chicken so they asked if I mind waiting which I didnt and it didn't take long for them to bring out the new batch. I ate my food inside of this place, they have limited seating here so be aware. They give you like 2 chili sauce packets, 2 soy sauce packets, 1 sweet and sour sauce and 2 fortune cookies. If you want more sauces then they will charge you for it. The portion of food they give here is great, bigger than other popular places. I like the Chow Mein and Kung Pao chicken, the orange chicken is a different taste to me but it's not that bad. They were getting good business when I was here and everyone else was taking advantage of their lunch special too.

You will see for yourself the second you walk in, this place is spotless and all the employees are very welcoming, not to mention the food is presented nicely and they give generous portions.

I'm not going to steer you down the wrong road so trust me. this is our favorite Panda Express in Santa Clarita along with our other Panda Express on Newhall Ranch and Bouquet Cyn.

“Continuing with the next latest comment, I need to reply: I am the lady with a ponytail. I work for Panda Wok and things are not like that at all. The fact is that they are homeless. Yesterday, one kind customers who bought a meal for them to eat, but they were too rudely and wanted to get a refund after eaten . I asked her who bought it. She said her uncle, and I explained that the refund needed to be made in person. Then she just casually said that she’s uncle was in the hospital and I said he could come over at any time. We can refund at any time… but she wants gets refund right now“
