“I took my mom here last night for a special mother/son dinner to celebrate Mother’s Day and boy did this place go above and beyond…I had called ahead to ensure they serve Japanese A5 Wagyu as my mom had never had it before… it’s not on the main menu, but they have it ? ? ?We were incredibly fortunate to have Rafael as our waiter…we will be asking for him again as his professionalism, knowledge, personality, and recommendations were top notch. In addition, Eliza (Asst. GM) checked in on us several times to ensure we were having the best evening. “Took my parents on an impulsive trip to San Juan Capistrano and stumbled upon this pizza cafe. Very delightful experience! Pizza was delicious! Service was fantastic! It's a bit off the main touristy street, but quieter ambience and very good price. Even came with free coffee! Definitely recommend it!“

“This place is a total gem. Came in on a quiet Sunday evening to dine. Our waiter and the cook were very friendly and welcomed us in. We ordered the hot and sour soup, general tso chicken and the Mongolian beef. We absolutely loved the soup and the dishes were really tasty with a good size portion and the breading was very nice on the chicken. We will definitely be back for more good food. ?“

“Pho broth tastes great, portion is okay I'm not full after eating large. I've tried large brisket pho and chicken pho. One of the spoons still had food stuck on it...... After I put in all the veggies I noticed one slice is stale or bad jalapeno. I had to pray that God will protect me from getting sick... Imma take detox pill at home... Although I want to continue support business here I don't feel spending $22-23 after tip is really worth my money. Honestly this restaurant team need to try harder to gain more regular customers. I've eaten at so called best pho restaurants in OC and LA. Brisket pho was better than chicken though. However after experience today, I ain't coming back... I even tipped 25%... So yeah I'm not a difficult customer to satisfy. Goodluck Saigon Gem team, you guys have real potential but you guys need to listen to customers and make real lasting positive changes. I first gave 3 star but 4 stars is the maximum I can give. I'm being generous like how much I tip... Sauce bottle was sticky...“

“Came for lunch with my gran about a month after my grandfather passed. It was my gran's first outing since the funeral and i was worried but our server was this adorable silver haired woman named Rebecca. She had my Gran laughing the whole time. We ordered combos and the suggested jalapeño watermelon margaritas, which were spicy and refreshing. We needed a nap afterwards because we were too stuffed! “My best friend was able to pull together a wedding by the beach in 10 days. The day before we called Sapphire to see if they could accommodate us with 30-40 people. They did and created a menu with their names on it and the meals available to everyone. The service was amazing, the food was delicious and the drinks kept coming. Everyone had an amazing time, they even allowed the newlyweds to have their first dance on the patio. I appreciate the owners so much for making this day so special for my friend and her family. ❤️“

“As a hospitality and tourism instructor the customer service was an embarrassment to say the least... Kaya appeared to be anything but welcoming. She told us to pick a table with 'two chairs only'. We selected one away from an open window since the weather was slightly cool for us being travelers. We asked if she could turn the ceiling fan directly above us off. She replied with a hard sigh, "I can turn it down, but I can't turn it off." She walked behind the counter and stated out loud to her coworker, "I get so annoyed when people ask me to turn off the fan". We just walked out to not annoy her further.“

I enjoyed this breakfast more than the cottage greasy offerings. Food served pretty quick, Beef hot pot also had clams and mussels which made for a tasty broth and classic shirataki mushrooms.“
