“We ate here for the first time, so we ordered several dishes. The soup of the day was incredible! The Oblo burger was filled with flavor! The salad was huge (in a good way) with a delicious beet purée. The octopus appetizer was special and unique. After going there for the first time I would highly recommend. The prices were mostly reasonable, we were actually surprised by this since it tasted and felt like fine dining. Price was well worth the food, especially for the salads/burgers/appetizers.“

“Really solid pizza. It was overall a great vibe, with a nice outdoor area. I had heard a lot of great things about Buzzo's before finally getting an opportunity to eat here, so was really hopeful. Definitely see why people like it! The crust is damn near perfect, and the arancini was wonderful.

The better pizza was definitely the margherita. I had heard a lot about the potato pizza, but to me it just didn't really seem to work; there were so many ingredients and it just didn't meld well to me.

Neither pizza had the marbling on the cheese I was hoping for, but definitely overall a really solid experience! Would come back for sure!“

“We were there for a music event late Jan 2025. HH drink specials were tasty but was disappointed on how cold it was inside the restaurant. Both doors, front & back, were wide open during the entire evening show (48 degrees outside). Even the band mentioned how cold it was before beginning their set. All the customers wore jackets. Also, the harsh lighting was way too bright throughout the restaurant. I wanted my sunglasses on. Please read the room & tone down the lighting & warm the place up, then we’ll be back. Mahalo“

“I travel to Santa Cruz for work and was looking for a place with a good, additive free tequila selection. I found Mission West in an SF Gate article about bars in Santa Cruz. What a great spot! Steve, the bartender, was beyond excellent. I drink Espresso Tequila Martini's made with blanco tequila and he nailed it. This is a locals spot but I was pleasantly surprised by how friendly the regulars were. I got some good local restaurant recommendations and left knowing I would go back here on a future visit to Santa Cruz!“

“Here on a Tuesday with their “Cheesy Tuesdays” when a cheese slice is only $2.50!!!! In this economy? Beautiful! And it wasn’t just an average slice of pizza it was PERFECT. A little crunch, yummy dough, the perfect amount of cheese pull (not too much but enough). Top 5 pizzas I’ve ever eaten. Just beautiful.“
