Note that they run tabs per table and won’t do individual checks. So, have a plan on who’s going to pay the table tab and how to reimburse that person.“

“This is an absolutely wonderful neighborhood restaurant. The quality is more fine dining and both the seating inside and the patio are lovely. They don't rush you out, so we had a family birthday party and everyone could hear each other and we didn't feel like we had to hurry up and eat. It is the birthday lady's favorite restaurant - wish there was another one in Elk Grove! food is consistently excellent and service is considerate, if a bit slow due to perceived understaffing. Trying to catch them on the phone is a challenge. I literally called back the minute I saw a missed call and no one called me for a week to respond to my message. Then when they did call and I missed the call I again called back immediately and it again went straight to an answering machine and I got no call back from my message to clarify their inquiry. So I was not sure what we were going to encounter when we arrived. I thought maybe a trainee was making the calls but it turned out to be a manager, so I'm confused by the phone thing. It created some stress because it was a BIG birthday party and I wasn't sure what the no response meant. Sorry to be picky but it did scare me.“

If you plan to go on a Friday or Saturday night, expect to have a great time with karaoke as they have this every week.Service on drinks can vary depending on how busy the establishment is on a given night, weekends are usually a 5-10 minute wait for a drink but the staff are very friendly and outgoing. April on Friday nights and the KJ Rosalie are a double team duo that is sure to make your night entertaining and fun!If you're looking to play pool, they have two tables at $1.50 available to play, one of them doesn't always work all the time unfortunately so there could be a wait to play if only one of the tables are working.Drinks are always tasty and at a reasonable price for the area, unless you plan on going hard that night, you'll probably spend around $50-$70 a night per person.Highly recommend this establishment as one of the top places to go in rancho Cordova.“

“Everything was fantastic. For a party of 6 on a Saturday night right at dinner time, we barely had a wait. Service was quick and attentive, but not lurking or over your shoulder. Food was clearly fresh, well made and very flavorful. The night was a pleasure.Parking: There's plenty of parking, but it will fill up during peak days and times. If you're handicapped, plan ahead...as those spots may fill up fast.“

“This is a cool little bar that I get to come visit when we have pool league, every once in a while.Everybody knows each other and has a nice community.Drinks are priced right. You can play music on touch tunes. . if you live in the area I would recommend you visit it also.“

“Usually the food was amazing and it was still good but my steak with broccolini and mashed potatoes was a salt lick last night. We had lots of burgers, the amazing poke for appetizers (2 for 5 of us because it’s that good) and drinks. They turned on the fire pit for us and then we hung out there for a bit. Great time as usual.Make a reservation if the weather is nice or they probably can’t fit you in even if you see tables available due to staffing. They will let you sit in the bar area and get appetizers.Parking: One of those teeny lots where people make about 5 spaces on their own during dinner“

“I was told about this place but I always went down to another bar down the street . But this time around I stopped in and meet a friend. But I was amazed spacious it was inside. They have a dance floor with bands. Pool table. Dart boards. Add a shuffleboard. You don't see many of those around. The bartender was excellent. Great service. Even had a puppy Murphy Pizza they cooked up their great. If I didn't live too far away I would be there pretty much every night. Great atmosphere. “Cinders is a great bar with a large diversity in patrons and staff. The owner, Andy Soto is a fun open guy that will get down with anyone. Kevin Frankenstein is a great professional bartender. He pays attention to the patrons and recalls what you like to drink. Beast, security: Great guy with a gentle giant vibes. Ivys Entertainment on Wednesdays and Thursdays is really amazing! Has the best sound system.“

“I just spent a few hours at The Long Shot today, and found it to be a terrific "Dive Bar" in Arden across from Whole Foods. The bartender was very attentive, as well as handsome, the drinks were well poured, and the customers were fun and talkative. Just what you're looking for at a bar. I highly recommend the bar. “Lock and Key’s new brunch is sooo good! We are definitely coming back to try some of the other dishes that sounded amazing. We had the pork belly benedict, breakfast flatbread and beignets. Everything was to die for! Our server Heidi was great and attentive. Would highly recommended. Can’t wait to come back and try the dinner menu.“

Adding to the fun, the live entertainment on weekends is lively and worth checking out (when the weather is nice you can enjoy the outdoor seating on the intimate, semi-private patio). This was our first visit but we are planning to make House of Oliver a regular hang out spot of ours.“
