“I love this place! The beautiful pink aesthetic of the logo and decor is gorgeous and inviting. The Star Wars theme as well is super cool. Love that the owner is a fellow Star Wars geek! It's so nice to have a gluten free, vegan bakery locally that also has so many delicious treats so I don't have to travel to the Bay Area every time I want something special. Staff is friendly. Prices are higher than say, Mariposa Bakery in Oakland, but not at all unacceptable given the quality you're getting and the convenience of being local to Sacramento. Caring Kitchen now has a 2nd location opening in Orangevale (spring 2025) which is super exciting! My wife and I love shopping here. I highly recommend!“

“Great place for ice cream. 50 years ago I worked at a Baskin-Robbins in Dayton, Ohio. Then, six cones with 2 scoops cost $1.68. Today those cones cost about $36. But the cones are bigger. The quality of the ice cream is the same. Excellent. I will go back again to sample all my old favorites. Tonight was black walnut and jamocha almond fudge.“

Normally whenever I crave ice cream in the evenings I’m met at other locations with grim workers who sometimes even ignore me. This location however, I was greeted by two upbeat workers who made friendly conversation with me and helped me pick out a good flavor for a freeze (which are really good)! They told me their names are Kim and Kaia (I hope I’m spelling it right). I hope all the other customers will have the pleasure to receive such wonderful service from such friendly people like I did! Sorry for stopping by 15 minutes before close!“
