“By far the best KBBQ I've been to. This is my comparison to several in Sac like OZ, and in San Francisco. It is pricey but if you can eat, it's well worth it. Sides are the best here but careful not to eat too much of it haha. The Meat were of the best quality compared to the other places.“

Normally, when a restaurant serves this much variety, the quality drops, but not here. Every single side dish is fresh and high quality. On top of that, all the main food items are incredible. Staffs were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend!“

“Seoul 1979 was a great find. The service was quick, welcoming, and efficient, and the food tasted fresh and made with care.

I ordered the Bulgogi Cupbap and thoroughly enjoyed it. The beef was tender and flavorful, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portion was satisfying without feeling overly heavy. The kimchi on the side was a nice added touch.

I can’t speak for the Japanese offerings, but based on the Korean food alone, I’d happily come back.“

Everything we ordered was delicious--from the bulgogi, fried chicken wings, and spicy tofu soup to the raw marinated shrimp. Every dish was flavorful and satisfying. The spicy raw marinated crab was $50 for an order, and while it looked like an excellent value with a generous portion, I was simply too full to try it that evening.

I will definitely be back just for the marinated crab. They also happily refill the banchan as needed, which is always a nice touch. This place is truly a hidden gem in the neighborhood, and I highly recommend giving it a try.“

“We had a 33rd birthday party for our son, his band and groupies, party of 11. The mgt Kien/Kenny was very accommodating with our reservation, running a slide show in our private room and the lobby while our guests arrived. The seafood pancakes, desert, and spinning the prize wheel were unexpected treats. Some may think it's pricey but when I consider that for the price I would pay for a basic Rib Eye dinner elsewhere, I can have as much Rib Eye, as well as a variety of other meats, chicken, shrimp, sides as I can possibly eat, it's very reasonable. Most of our group were 1st timers, so the cultural experience of new foods, cooking at your table the way you like, made for a unique experience. Our group of 20 something yr old punk rockers had a lot of fun, the service and food were excellent. We'll be back...ps. call ahead to gauge the crowd and bring an appetite.“

“I recently dined at this restaurant and came away with a generally positive impression, though there is definitely room for improvement regarding their sushi portions. Right from the start, the overall atmosphere was great; the entire dining area was spotlessly clean, and the service was consistently good and welcoming.

For my meal, I decided to sample a couple of their signature sushi options. We ordered the Caterpillar roll and the Kamikaze roll. In terms of construction, both rolls suffered from a bit of an imbalance in their ingredients. The Caterpillar roll was filled mostly with cucumber, leaving only very small, sparse bits of eel inside. Similarly, the Kamikaze roll was packed with too much crunchy cucumber, which slightly overwhelmed the spicy tuna mix.

However, despite the rolls being skimped on fish and overloaded with vegetable filler, the quality of the food was still quite high. Every bite was remarkably fresh, clean, and tasty. The flavors are definitely there, and the kitchen clearly uses good components. If the chefs can balance out the ratios to include a bit more seafood and less cucumber, this place would easily earn a top rating from me.“

I recently tried Young’s Teriyaki in Rancho Cordova, and it completely blew me away. The food here is genuinely top-chef level quality.

I ordered both the regular Teriyaki Bowl and the Spicy Chicken Bowl. Both were absolutely outstanding. The chicken was perfectly grilled, incredibly tender, and not dried out at all. The classic teriyaki sauce has the perfect balance of sweet and savory without being overwhelming. The spicy chicken had a fantastic kick to it that kept me coming back for more.The portions are generous, the ingredients taste incredibly fresh, and the flavors are spot on. If you are in the area and craving high-quality teriyaki, this is the absolute best spot in town. I will definitely be a regular customer here!“

“I've been coming here for over 16 yrs. I'll be very honest the only thing I order is the Bibimbap #17, no spicy. I just love the sesame sesame seed oil. The vegetables are gently sauteed in the sesame seed oil, chicken is char grilled for the prefect touch of smoke..they have some traditional items that look fresh and delicious.“

“Hello, I’ve come and ordered take out a few times now including last night, usually I enjoy their food but I made a mistake last night when I ordered. I ordered Tobiko Dolsot Bibimbob and misread it as Ddukbokki because one I didn’t know how it was spelt and two my brain kept making me pronounce the word as so. I ended up finding out when they were already closed so I tried it but I ended up not liking it and can’t bring myself to eat it. I can’t get a replacement and don’t expect it to be since it was my mistake but it’s just upsetting I spent 24 dollars on it and wasn’t able to enjoy the food.

But the meal I usually order is good, I’ve never eaten in but the inside looks nice, the food is always piping hot when I come pick it up which I love, and the woman who is always there giving me the food is relatively nice. It’s unfortunate that this time around I wasn’t able to enjoy the food and it’s too expensive(since I’m not paid much) for me to order again 2 days in a row but maybe next time in a couple to a few months

Edit: also presentation of meals are always so good, always pretty and organized since I usually get Bibimbob, next time I will make sure I know what it says and I will just get the usual meal I get“
