“I go here about once every two weeks . I love the food or just for the shake with the boba . I recommend this restaurant to neighbors who live in the neighborhood and bring people from out of the state when visiting . The atmosphere and cleanliness is impeccable . The receptionist / waitress has got to be the most unfriendliness person I have ever met in my 84 yrs of life . It is impossible to even get a friendly smile let alone words or a “thank You” . It is a big turn off. I have neighbors who will not go there because of her. It is hard to ignore .“

“I've been coming here since their old location since 2002. I come for the food, and the sense that these are my "aunties" making the food. I don't know another place that sells pork belly banh mi, but here. If there is, I doubt it would fill up the sandwich as much as they do here. The duck salad and lotus root salad is so refreshing too!“

I am glad to say that I was correct this place is above average in food quality and just below perfect in customer service. I definitely would recommend Pho Viet. “This hole-in-the wall is a real gem 💎 of a find! The exterior is nondescript, just another part of a strip mall, the windows display a typical neon “pho” soup bowl sign. The interior sports 2 flat screens at the front, the walls are adorned with photos of landscapes and, you guessed it! Koi 🎏The pho is exceptional, the broth is consistently tasty and complex. There are other offerings not usually found in run-of-the-mill pho shops: giant meatball in savory sauce served with a baguette 🥖; shrimp egg rolls, and the enormous ribs that come with the special pho of the house! The only mark I can fault here is during rush hour, this place gets pretty busy. So get here early, else you’ll be queuing! Or worse, they’ll run out of soup 🍜! “Cashier has been a long time employee of this outfit and is always friendly. TK noodle has the best noodle soup! Whenever I can get out there, I always order my favorite combination rice noodle soup and it never disappoints. Prices have gone up, but it has to keep up with inflation I guess. “They famous with their tofu that has mushroom, rice noodle. They only accept cash. The inside is small and dark. It's kind of un- organized, it seems like many things happening althoug there's a line. The line, place making order and payment is kind of messed up.“

“I came here for lunch with a fellow coworker. First time here at this Cafe. From the outside it doesn’t look like much but the inside looks well put together. The decor and dining area looks charming and inviting. Seating is self serve.

We got a table and was greeted almost immediately and provided menus to look through. Our server was nice and polite.

The menu options are simpler compared to other Vietnamese restaurants. Upon ordering our food arrived hot from the kitchen with about 15 minutes.

The food came out tasty and very delicious. The egg rolls were crunchy and yummy. My vermicelli noodle with chicken and shrimp turned out well.

Between the lunch order and the two Vietnamese coffee and side order of egg rolls total came to be about $65 with tax and tip which is on the higher side for lunch for two.

Wonderful Cafe is great place to stop by for a quick bite to eat. It’s a charming little place as others have said. Expect great service but be prepared to pay a higher premium for the food. The food won’t disappoint. Will definitely stop by again and try out some of the other items on the menu.

“10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.“

The portions are very generous, and they include other items on their combo plates. Service is very fast, and the place is very clean. Only one negative is that the fish sauce is in a jug, and they share that with many tables. So make a generous pour when they bring it to you.“

“Time and time again every time I come to this restaurant I am always 100% satisfied, not only is the food extremely well priced it is also extremely good and delicious and well portioned for what you get. From the pho to the chow mein everything I have tried from this restaurant so far has been really good. The only complaint id ever have for this establishment is that the service can at times be a little iffy but other than that this place deserves a 5 star. If you go here you cannot go wrong with the pho honestly a place you must try if youre visiting sacramento.“

From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? The crispy pork and grilled pork sandwiches were delicious! The sandwich was a good size, for an adult anyway. Our kids thought they were huge and got full about half way through. Our bread to meat to veggie ratio was just fine, so every bite was perfect. We were especially impressed by the bread. It was crunchy and flaky on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside.

We also got the sesame ball, Vietnamese coffee, the strawberry and mango jelly joy drink, and pandan waffle -- all delicious! The desserts in the fridge looked so pretty and yummy, we had to try them as well. Unfortunately, our eyes were way bigger than our stomach, but we can't wait to try them tomorrow though!
