“Phenomenal. Brussel sprouts, fries, and the biscuits to start. Chicken thighs main: toughest decision I’ve made in a while but it was the right one. Top 5 dish I’ve ever had in my entire life, zero exaggeration. The chicken melts like butter and is complemented perfectly with the crunchy/savory potatoes below. “Excellent service here, everyone here was super friendly and directed me to a table with an outlet so I could charge my things. They also let me sign one of the flags they had hanging on the ceiling which was a cool experience.
I ate the salmon bagel there, the bagel itself was quite delicious. My only critique was that I felt there could have been more salmon on the bagel and less tomato. Would recommend.“

“I Went here on Thanksgiving and was able to get in and seated under five minutes which o was surprised by. The Service was fast and waiters and waitresses were friendly. We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving breakfast here and we will come back next year again for Thanksgiving breakfast“

“Visiting Truckee as a tourist and tried out this place since it had such great ratings. The ratings are very true to their word. I tried out a traditional breakfast from here and the eggs were the tastiest I’ve ever had. Same goes with the potatoes. Inside, it’s a little cramped, but the food is worth it.“

“A bike event on Sunday turned into a cold, rainy, windy, miserable day. We went to The Dam Cafe for hot chocolate and got so much love! The owner not only welcomed the wet, muddy riders in, she put out space heaters and wrapped us in blankets! Amazing! I was so cold and was warmed both physically and emotionally by the kindness. The food and drink where delicious. Can’t say enough good things. A little cottage of heaven in Tahoe City!“
