“Good Times!“

“I was in town for several days and every time we drove down Carpinteria Avenue, we noticed this particular corner eatery patio was packed throughout the day and night. Adults and kiddos out there eating and drinking. I made a mental note to myself to check 'em out. That I did ... I went there for lunch.

They share a shopfront with Dang's burgers. Walk into the building and smack to the left is the Dang's burger ordering counter. To the right is Sunburst Wine Bar. The bar has a bar counter and chairs. The interior look is modern, unpretentious casual. Bright with lots of natural light. But if you're looking for a TV, they don't have any. The vibe is chill, unpretentious, welcoming, and family friendly. Family friendly bar?!? No, kids aren't allowed at the counter but are allowed on the outside patio and well as leashed dogs. The patio seating is tables and bench seating.

The bar menu has draft beers, local wines. and canned drinks. They have flights. While partaking in a drink at the bar, you can even eat your Dang's food at the bar as well. The bartender was engaging with a great attitude.“

“Service and ambience were good, and the little fireplace for chillier days was a really nice touch. The views were fantastic and definitely a highlight of the visit.

The menu was slightly different than what we saw online, and there weren’t many non-spicy options, which made choosing a bit tricky. The food itself was good, but felt slightly overpriced for what you get.

Overall, a great spot for the atmosphere and views, but check the menu in person before you go if you’re particular about spice!“

“Love Manor! So many great memories including NYE, Birthdays, and the 4th Of July. Love the atmosphere and music, bartenders are ninjas, service is always high level, and one of the best burgers in town! Oh yeah, the Brookie is a top 5 dessert for me! If I could give more stars I would!“

“The speakeasy had an incredible vibe! Low-key, stylish yet sophisticated casual. Live music, but just the right collection and vibe. Server Sophia was the best! Could not have been nicer more comedy and full of energy. So impressed with the bartender, he personally wrote out a recipe For one of the drinks that we enjoyed. Highly recommend I'll definitely be back as soon as we can get there. !“

I had already been to Gulfstream and loved it, and this place is just as amazing. Food, quality, and service are a solid 10/10. Everything was served in just 5 minutes, and although the salad came out at the same time as the main dishes, when we asked for the check they told us they wouldn’t charge us for it because it had been “late.” Honestly, we hadn’t even noticed! Such a thoughtful gesture we even asked them to please include it because we enjoyed it.

It’s the little details like this that make a restaurant stand out from the rest. Definitely coming back!“
