“So I am obsessed with teriyaki and you must know that I loved the Long Beach location. When they closed it down, I was sad and distraught on where to go now. When I found out they were opening up a new location not to far from me, I was filled with pure joy. We were in the area contemplating what to eat. First thing that came ot my mind was, of course, teriyaki. So we decided to make a stop. Like at any other location, the food was delicious. I ordered the chicken bowl with fries. Their fries are one of my faves because they season them with perfection. The new location was very clean and like always, the staff was amazing. They made our food fast and even though it was a Friday night, we were services quickly. The cooks definitely hustle back there in the kitchen. So if you are in the area maybe after a day of shopping and want a quick bite, I suggest this place because you can't go wrong and PLUS the food is delicious.“

“This place is hidden on 4th street. There is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. It's not that busy later in the evening. The service was quick. The ambiance is super cute with the cherry blossom tree and the art on the wall with the chicken. This is a cashless place since they recently got robbed. So make sure to help out this small business!I got the original hainan chicken rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced right. The sauces that came with it was perfect. I love how chicken is cooked steamed as it was juicy and not try. I would get this again. If you're sick, get their herbal chicken soup. It has 5 spices and Gojo berry, which is beneficial when you're sick. I definitely will be back here to try their bubble teas too!“
“Flavor is good, they use a lot of garlic. Amount was enough but not for big appetites. Price is in average of Panda Express.Food was barely warm , and when is raining you just want your food hot. Service was good, they do not ask for tip, that is voluntary. Dining room is ok, chairs are for fast people, do not try to stay more than 15 min or pay your rent. I’ll be back but I’ll ask the waitress to please tell people staff be sure my delicious food is hot and healthy. “I love the Chinese food from this location. Been coming here for years. I normally order the noodles, orange chicken and chicken mushrooms with squash! Their soups are also delicious I normally get it with shrimp and chicken. And I always make sure to get egg rolls. I come here frequently when I'm in the mood for Chinese food.“

“The place might be a little hard to find, as it is a little hole in the wall, but it's definitely worth going! There is the option of getting Poke or ordering food off their menu. They have a good amount of options of ramen, sushi and sides. There was even a choice of seafood ramen that resembles 7 mares (A Mexican seafood soup). For the ramen, they had mild and spicy options, and the mild had a bit of a kick to it. We got the chicken ramen, and the vegetable options were interesting, haha. Brocoli was boiled just until it was soft and still green. The carrot was also soft but had a crunch. The egg was boiled, but it wasn't seasoned with soy sauce (still delicious). Overall, it tasted like a home cooked meal. We also got got two rolls, the Baked Salmon roll and Fried California Roll. They were served with spicy mayo and eel sauce (most of the rolls are served with it). We also got takoyaki (octopus balls). All of the food was served in about 10 minutes, and straight off the pot! You can see the steam coming off the ramen. The lady who took our order was quick and efficient and she made our Thai tea in less than 30 seconds. All of our food was about 70 dollars, most of the items are between 10 and 20 dollars, and I noticed their menu prices are different online than their menu inside. It's also much more casual than it seems. I'd definitely come back in the future when I'm craving Mexican fusion.Vegetarian options: There was an All-Vegie Ramen that looked delicious, and a couple of rolls and poke options without any meat.Parking: There is a parking lot right next to the building, and there were plenty of parking spaces. However, the parking spaces were pretty compact, so even if you park straight the lines will probably be touching your wheels.Wheelchair accessibility: There are no stairs from the parking to the sidewalk to the building. And the space to walk up to the door is fairly wide. Although, you might need some help with someone holding open the door for you because it felt a little heavy.“
“A fun new Taiwanese dumpling place in the South Bay with cute to-go looking containers but plenty of space to eat in as well. The potstickers were very light and perfect light fried crunch! The dumplings are a cool "gold-shape" and come in 4 varieties- we enjoyed their signature type. They have several combos to mix and match things as you like! The spicy Ma-La noodles were also a nice zingy addition opposite the hearty yet light corn chowder. You can also choose from several dipping sauce options after you order, and get a boba tea if you are in the mood. Be sure to bus your table after and service your tray over to the cleanup area at the end. All in all it was very flavorful and unique! Looking forward to new one they say will open in Torrance soon!“

“The green salad and fried shrimps lacked the taste, which sounded mediocre. However, the macaroni one and dumplings (I forgot the name) were okay, while the yakisoba was tenderly good. Even the service was excellent with a fantastic atmosphere. Loved the restaurant since it was good to visit, as I'd recommend it.“

“I have been ordering at Umami Express for a while now and it is such a life saver for busy weekdays. I am trying to lose weight and their food is so filling but guilt free - saved me from ordering unhealthy fast food. My fave so far is the chicken bowl, I add chestnuts and cucumbers. The texture is so good and the lemon garlic sauce is good as well. I did try the spicy sauce on time and it is not for me. One improvement I guess I would ask is if there is a way that the calories are stated in the website when I do my online order? I have never been in the restaurant, so I cannot tell for sure if they have it there. With my need to be more calorie conscious that will be a fantastic help. :-)“
“Honda is a very solid Japanese dining experience. Nothing I've had there is particularly exceptional, but the food is always reliably tasty and fresh. My wife and I usually order the dinner combinations which include miso soup and salad. The portions are good and I especially recommend the beef teriyaki and sashimi combo.“
“Delicious, you NEED to come here! The owner was so nice, she made us feel very welcome! The food was so good, you can replace tofu instead of meat/seafood, and the food is delicious! I had the lunch special, and I loved it. The Thai iced tea was the BEST! There was almond milk sub for the milk in the Thai Tea, and it was one of the best iced teas I’ve had! I’ll definitely come back just for the tea. It was very clean, and well taken care of.“

It was Ok.... but some of the ingredients were not fresh and tasted a little bit old. But it was good and satisfactory tho. Will come back and try other stuff.“
“I get the tofu and veggies. The first time I came there was at least 2 cups of sauce so it was not edible but now I know how to order - no oil and firm vegetables! Yum. I come here because the vegetables are fresh, everything is made to order and the sizes are perfect and large! The staff is wonderful - everyone I have encountered is nice and accommodating.“
“The food is good but it is not worth the price. I got the pho combination which was 16 dollars. I would not mind the price but they are stingy with the meat. I would not bother coming back when there are so many other options that are worth the price of admission.“
