“This is the update from the last IHOP review. Two days ago, I was really hungry in the middle of the night, and most of the restaurant was closed.I remembered that IHOP restaurantopened 24 hours a day.I went to the IHOP restaurant formy late dinner. When I walked inside of the restaurant, It was clean, and the restaurant was empty because of itwas late at night.Young lady Grace was greeted mewith a big smile. She was very friendly and attentive.I ordered the breakfast menu, whichwas two eggs/ham/ pancakes. After that, I got my order within 15 minutes. I was surprised that It wasfast service. Then, I came home, and I tried my breakfast. Eggs were fluffy and soft.I was delicious. And pancakes werereally tasty and tasted good.Pancakes were moist & dry. It was a great breakfast. I really enjoyed it.House of pancakes opens 24 hours.7 days a week.I reallyEnjoyed my breakfast ! I will come back the IHOP again.“
“This is one of the last great diners. Whenever I go I feel like family. Everyone remembers you when you are there. The staff are amazing and they know what's up. You're never waiting g around asking for anything. They think of it first. The food is delicious. When I go to other places I get maybe one same dish. Ober and over. NOT at San Pedro Cafe! I have tried so many different things. You can get your traditional breakfasts giant plate of waffles or pancakesEggs and bacon or sausage or steak. Then you have some incredible Mexican options (I love the chorizo) They do a great red sauce and I'm in love with the Verde. Sometimes I get bacon and eggs but with Spanish rice, Verde and tortillas. One time I had been having a rough go and I dropped in after not being there for a bit and I was a little sad and Primo came and gave me a big hug and honestly it was genuine. You don't get that out in the world often these days. That is priceless. So listen get yourself over there relax in the cozy OG diner decor and flop in a booth and try something new. Look around and say hi to everyone. Next thing you know you will be happy and full with food leftover for later. You will have found your new go to diner. Be prepared on weekends to wait a bit. They also have a good outdoor arrangement if you aren't an inside person. They have tv's on with sports and you can watch a game and eat a sandwich. This is the kind of place where you'll want to work your way through the whole menu. Tell them Meek sent you.I'm sure you will thank me later. Street parking with meters but there is a pqy parking lot a block away and you may want a little walk after eating so much yummy food anyway. That's where we park when we go. Behind the 6th st shops.I will add a ton of pics later“
“We walked here for breakfast from our hotel, and we were so glad we did (even in the pouring rain)! Food was good and reasonably priced (especially compared to our hotel) and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If we had been in the area longer, we would have gone back. I would much rather support this business than give more money to our hotel.“
“*A Hidden Gem in Long Beach: Tony's Kitchen* Great Food & Good prices! During a recent visit to Long Beach, I had the pleasure of dining at Tony's Kitchen, a delightful find that left a lasting impression. Nestled in a quaint and cozy setting, this laid-back eatery offers a fantastic dining experience that combines attentive service, affordable prices, and, most importantly, scrumptious food. Our table ordered a variety of dishes, including the breakfast burrito, steak & eggs, a chocolate chip pancake, and the standout dish—the blackened mahi mahi wrap accompanied by fresh, not frozen, fried zucchini. Each dish was a WINNER! The blackened mahi mahi wrap, in particular, was amazingly flavorful and easily the star of our meal. I almost forgot to mention their salsas (red & green) which were both fantastic. In fact, I brought some home with me with our leftovers & used them on several dishes I made. What surprised me most was the tranquility of the restaurant, a stark contrast to the bustling, often overcrowded/overpriced breakfast and lunch spots we're accustomed to in the Valley. Not only does Tony's Kitchen offer food that rivals or surpasses these places, but it does so in a setting that allows you to truly savor your meal without the rush, noise, and stress plus it's affordable!Whether you're a local or just passing through Long Beach, this gem deserves a visit. I'm already craving another taste of their mahi mahi wrap and zucchini fries and look forward to my next meal here. Tony's Kitchen is a testament to the joy of discovering an underrated restaurant that serves food deserving of a packed house every day.“
“Don't live close any more, but I drove 140 miles to see if they are still great. Answer: yes! The way they treat you, it feels like "welcome home". Had an omelet full of New Orleans flavors. Left full and happy. 5 stars all the way!“
“Food was delicious. I had the gluten free buckwheat pancakes, which were better than the regular buckwheat ones. My friend had the regular ones and we could taste a specific flavor difference that we both were like... but our server was great, Craig, he understood and my friend got traditional fluffy pancakes instead and was happy. Great server! I would go back for sure. I also had the mocha muchacho with oatmilk and loved it!“
“Great food, fast service. The waitress was friendly and they kept our coffee and water filled. The food was fresh although they weee out of asparagus and shrimp for my omelette. I had a vegetable mix that I selected myself. It came out just a few minutes after we ordered. The ham & eggs were great, too. The ham was bone in and thick. This place is a hidden gem.“
“Food was delicious and served quickly; service was excellent; location convenient; and despite not having space to accommodate a stroller inside, they made it work. The only downside was that it was really noisy indoors, but otherwise great!“
“Damian(Service Manager)single handedly saved my review of this place and me coming back when in the area. I wont give all the deets however the food was solid but without Damian my service experience here would have been "trash" .“
“We got to meet Juan! He is amazing! Not only did he make us feel so welcome. He broke the menu down for us and showed great hospitality! One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what we've tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.“
“Food, chef's kiss! I'm yelling cuz it's that good! Too bad I'm not a morning person, but to have some Red's breakfast, I will wake up early. We ordered Texas scramble with potatoes. Those potatoes have my heart! So good! Also ordered shrimp & grits - 100% stamp of approval. So delicious and full of flavor. Not runny but substantially good. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.Picked up food so didn't eat inside. I suggest calling in your order because they get busy, especially during the holidays.“
“I really enjoyed my lunch here. The salad ? was very good ?. I like that it came with the zesta crackers. The tuna sandwich was a delight. I also liked that it came with sliced pickles. The water and orange juice were all good. I would really recommend this sandwich for lunch here. If I am ever around this area again, I will come eat here again. I always appreciate the service restaurants give. Thank you. Hope you all have a good day everyday. ?Vegetarian options: Has a good salad ? ?“
“A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It’s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty.I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good.I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.“

From classic buttermilk to creative flavors, the menu caters to diverse pancake preferences. Each stack is a perfect blend of fluffy texture and delectable taste, making it a pancake lover's haven. “Cindy provided excellent service a long with a mother lady who was also in the restaurant at the time of my visit. I dined in for brunch on 3/7 at 10:55am. Excellent staff and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. Thank you so much for a great experience!!“
“Scrumptious lunch just steps away from the beach. Kate, our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. Always with a smile. The menu has a nice array of choices and the portions are large. I recommend this establishment to anyone.Vegetarian options: I had and thoroughly enjoyed the grain Bowl.“
“The owner is very nice! I had never been here before and he was very helpful. I had the turkey, egg, and cheese sandwich on sourdough. Followed that up with an iced coffee. The prices are very affordable and the food and drinks are served with a smile. I’ll definitely be back when I return for work. I recommend this place 100% if you’re looking for a quick bite before hopping on the metro.“

“It was my first time there I wanted a little breakfast before I got my hair done. I ordered a bagel and 2 glazed doughnuts because they didn't have a big selection of donuts at that time. But I did get 2. The bagel was really good toasted, with light cream cheese. The lady, most likely the owner, was really pleasant and nice, and she gave me a Little-good luck charm. With my purchase. Whenever I'm in that area of Lawndale, I will be going there.“

“First time here and it was great. The service was good and the food and drinks were delicious. I wasn't looking to drink but my sisters were looking forward to mimosas, however they weren't currently serving anything with liquor as they are in the process of renewing their liquor license. Besides that, I had the Chilaquiles Verde and a hot Dulce de Leche Latte and ate and drank every bit. I definitely want to return and try some of their other menu items. And the staff was pleasant, courteous and friendly. Definitely recommend.“
“Worth the wait, only 2 people wotking so take a little longer to get a hot breakfast but everything was cooked perfectly. Will be going back everyday im here. Crispy bacon, crispy hashbrowns and my eggs were actually over medium like i ordered. Also really good sourdough.“
“Usually go to the Hawthorne location, first time at gardena and I gotta say that I indeed love the flavor of the green chilaquiles better here and ANGEL was just GREAT!!!! Definitely would recommend gardena location!! Thank you ANGEL for the fast, efficient and friendly service….“
“I frequent this particular IHOP restaurant several times a year as I am a often a user of LAX airport. I have never had poor service there and yesterday's visit was no different. Waitress was attentive, the food was excellent. Prices are on the higher end of competitive but not out of line with the industry. I have to add with honesty that doing business in California in this day and age is almost impossible. I will return to this IHOP restaurant the next time that I go to LAX and I can certainly recommend it as a place to visit.“
“On this occasion, we returned to SOL for Sunday brunch. The food, drinks, and vibe were great, and we once again received the excellent customer service we've come to ♥ (and expect) from the whole crew. Thanks again to Luis, the hostesses, the bar crew, and to everyone!“
“I walked by and owner, Sergio is the sweetest and funny man. He said Hi and told me that they have Philly cheese steak too. That was cute because I don't eat meat. I looked at other places to see where to eat from. Then went back over here to see what I can order. Ordered their sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and white bread. Asked him for a cup of water. He's so funny. He asked, On the rocks? I said yeah with ice rocks lols. He said ok and handed me my water and said here's your cocktail. He made me laugh. I've ate here before many years ago. Like 8-9 years ago. Glad he's still here but I also asked him how come he's not retired yet. Hehe He said he loves it here. He'd be so bored at home. Haha I highly recommend here with great low prices that best everyone else's prices here. During the time when gas is high of $7 and may even go up to $10 with this biden government administration, food prices here are very helpful. I had a lovely chat with Sergio here and all his 2 staff are so genuinely sweet all the time from start to finish and beyond. :)He didn't just have best food, best prices, best customer service but the experience here felt great.“
“Your average donut place with coffee and pastries. Only cash, has an ATM but just take cash. Nothing out of the ordinary. It is simple and easy. Pastries are really good. Only outstanding thing is how cheap the donuts and coffees are, really good price.“
