“California native that transplanted to Wichita Kansas and I will say without a doubt, FANTASTIC CAFE will always have the best breakfast burritos by far and the best food under one roof by far!! And the for the price you just can't beat!“

“Burritos, BREAKFAST burritos. I didn't really read the yellow box on the menu, and ordered a Carne asada, only then did i realize it was breakfast burritos.
It's not obvious, and also the interior could use some color, paint, photos, art, etc...

“We stopped by the Second Wind in El Segundo right by LAX, after hearing about it from some friends (who actually work at LAX). I gotta say it's a solid spot. It looks relatively new and the interior is very cool with anime and pop art stuff. The bar is connected to both inside and outside areas which is nice. We tried: Bulgogi Alfredo Pasta, Sriracha Hot Honey Wings, Flaming Wagyu, Snow Crab Avocajete Dip. I loved the snow crab dip. Its like a avocado dip but add snow crab and some Asian flavorings. Really enjoyed it. The flaming wagyu was also very good, and liked how they torch it table side for you. The bulgogi pasta was good too, and really captures the Asian fusion aesthetic here. They actually have a coffee/boba place located right inside the restaurant which is convenient to get some sweets after. Overall, we enjoyed it and plan on coming back to try some other items.“

Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. “I work very close by and would say this is one of the better lunch options in the area for me. Everything is always consistently ready very fast and it’s always tasty. There is a small free parking lot right out front, otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Inside is large enough to dine in, but I always get it to go. They do have a pretty large menu with a lot of great options on it and I love that they have smoothies and drinks as well as food items.

I have tried a few different things here, but this past order I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and added avocado and honestly really liked it. The ciabatta bread was crispy and the the chicken was perfectly spicy and I just really enjoyed it. The dressing on the side salad was also terrific. I would recommend if you are in the area.“

We were able to sneak in a quick breakfast before our whale tour at the Little Italy location, and thank goodness we did! My only regret is not visiting every single day for their exceptional breakfast and high-quality juices! I ordered the All I Avo Wanted - Blue corn, waffle, smashed avocado, feta, shaved radish, over easy egg, chili flakes, hemp seeds, salsa macha. I mean, holy moly. The delivery was beautifully executed and built perfectly. The blue corn waffle was moist yet firm. My mother ordered the Shakshuka - another favorite dish of mine that WOWed. You can not go wrong with Parakeet. Thank you to the divine chefs and baristas - you made Parakeet the most beloved restaurant during our time in California!!!“

“Our group of 6 went for breakfast on Memorial Day (so that was our bad). After waiting a while past our estimated time and seeing others who came after us, going in, we finally went to check. We found that the tables are mostly 4 tops and they were waiting for a booth to clear out. We offered to be seated separately and were seated immediately. Service for 1 of the tables was average. The other table (of 2) received terrible service. The waiter didn't come to take their order forever and didn't refill their drinks. They watched as our table and tables around them got food, and those around them were offered refills on water and coffee.
There offered gluten free pancakes, which made my son very happy. Portions are huge and the food was good. While it was not exactly as expected at times, overall the group was happy with their food.“

“I Googled good affordable breakfast sandwich near me and found this great little Mom & Pop place. In a sea of overpriced & underwhelming food, it's nice to see good food for a good price. I got a simple, but yummy breakfast sandwich, and spent under $8.00. Busy & friendly place. It's located in the courtyard of an office building, where you enter from the alley. “We stopped by this restaurant after a meditation class at the park. This was my first visit. The restaurant offers free bread, which was warm and delicious. I ordered a California burger, and it was very good. I liked the food, and the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back to try other dishes and enjoy the tasty bread again.“

“We came on a Wed morning and were overjoyed to find this family owned cafe that has survived 60 years I think the owner shared. The omlets were not only yummy but beautifully displayed with like a half of an avocado on each! There is so much love poured into that room! You can see the generations on the wall.
