Off rip, I knew it was gonna be bomb because my boyfriend actually has great taste and recommended it. I mean why would I date him otherwise? But I still had to be the one to taste it to believe it. Those biscuits put them on the MAP! I had lost faith in biscuits & gravy in this city. I have been let down time and time again because it was so weak. But these gave me hope for the future 🥹 I could see this place being my breakfast new normal. “Love it here! My favorite breakfast place in LA. The cooks and wait staff are dialed in here. I love getting the pancake combos, which is 2 pancakes instead of 3, and comes with a breakfast platter. I always get eggs over easy, hash browns and bacon lightly cooked. Then, for pancakes my favorites are Brook's Blues (blueberries), Tire Biter (Oreo's), or Ruby Belle (a few thin slices of caramelized apple and pecans). The last one in particular is a good one to ask for extra toppings on for a few dollars more. One random tip for the pancakes: they're served on plate that's barely big enough for them, so cut out a eat a slice to make room for your syrup, and make a pool there to dip the rest on rather than pouring it on top.“

“The self care breakfast was perfect if you enjoy the Mediterranean style breakfast. What makes a big difference is just the quality of the ingredients. The feta, olives, eggs, the olive oil. So good. It was taking a little while to get our food, and they so kindly just brought us a piece of cake which also was delicious! Would definitely be a regular customer here.“

“I work very close by and would say this is one of the better lunch options in the area for me. Everything is always consistently ready very fast and it’s always tasty. There is a small free parking lot right out front, otherwise free street parking is also easy to find. Inside is large enough to dine in, but I always get it to go. They do have a pretty large menu with a lot of great options on it and I love that they have smoothies and drinks as well as food items.

I have tried a few different things here, but this past order I got the Spicy Chicken Sandwich and added avocado and honestly really liked it. The ciabatta bread was crispy and the the chicken was perfectly spicy and I just really enjoyed it. The dressing on the side salad was also terrific. I would recommend if you are in the area.“

“My go-to at this diner would be the ENCHILADAS! Amazing flavor and texture; some of the best enchiladas I have ever had at a diner. The service is 5-stars. The atmosphere is cozy and comforting. The peach cobbler is also a hit! The parking is somewhat difficult, so be aware of this.“

The menu is vast and goes from breakfast, sandwiches, burgers, tacos, fish and chips, the famous meatloaf and so much more to choose from. They are baking their own muffins and scones in house which are outstanding. The atmosphere is relaxed like a nice country cafe and it is very inviting where you want to sit a while and talk enjoying some of their great coffee. Misto is a well known institution in the area and folks on this side of the hill love this spot with good reason.“

“One of the best breakfast options in Manhattan Beach, and one of my favorites in South Bay in general. It’s in between a traditional breakfast restaurant and a diner, and some things I love about it are it has friendly and quick service, a giant menu, and great food. Inside is pretty large so it can host many different sized groups, and has booth and table seating. Parking in the area can be a bit tricky, we found a metered street spot a block away, but you may have to circle a few times before finding a spot.

For this visit, I chose the Crab & Avocado Benedict because those are two of my two favorite things combined, so it was a no-brainer to order. The crab was very tasty and the hollandaise was made perfectly and overall it was a great dish. I also ordered a side of fruit and they really did not skimp on the fruit quality, they gave me banana, watermelon, grapes, and didn’t just throw the melon and cantaloupe at me.

Overall, a great breakfast option and I plan to be back many times in the future.“
