“I was in Santa Monica yesterday morning in line to eat at another restaurant. It was already lunch time. But I wanted breakfast food. I asked the people in line if that restaurant served French Toast for breakfast. A very nice young woman with a cute dog said "go to John O'Groats" if you want a traditional French Toast Breakfast. I followed her advice and drove out to John O'Groats. I am so glad that I did. This place is a tradition diner with a lot of charm. The French Toast was great. As was the coffee. The service was good. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this location with friends. This is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Before I drove out there, I called. I got an outgoing voice message. I left a message in which I said that I had wished that someone had answered the phone. I just wanted to know if they are still serving breakfast. When I arrived, the proprietor said to me "You called didn't you?" I answered in the affirmative. He responded "We have breakfast all day every day!" I wish I had taken down the name and contact information of the woman who recommended John O'Groats. I would have enjoyed sharing my experience with her.“
“I'm glad that this place is utilizing the Vegan Just Egg! I had a burrito here made using the Just Egg and it was very tasty. I hope soon they include more vegan products as I believe it would attract many more customers to this establishment.“
“Call ahead! The wait at the sandwich section can - at times - be a bit slow & tedious and can cost you half your lunch hour. Plus I don't love the fact that their default channel is "Fix News". Still, the salad bar is fabulous. Also, Maggie and Ruby absolutely rock! :-)“
“I got the veggie panini and an iced matcha w/ oat milk; both were very good. My brother ordered a french toast that he vacuumed down in 5 seconds and my dad ordered an omelette that he could not get enough of. Everything was just so fresh and healthy. The service was great and the employees are so friendly! I definitely suggest eating in the back patio, the atmosphere is just amazing!“
“100% lives up to the hype. Walked by the one in Vegas and the line wrapped around the cosmo and I was shocked. Now that I have eaten a Fairfax and a bacon egg and cheese. I can definitely see why people would wait for it. I have thought about it a few times since leaving LA. I will be back and maybe half the reason I come back to LAX is because of eggslut.“
“Don't live close any more, but I drove 140 miles to see if they are still great. Answer: yes! The way they treat you, it feels like "welcome home". Had an omelet full of New Orleans flavors. Left full and happy. 5 stars all the way!“
“Food was delicious and served quickly; service was excellent; location convenient; and despite not having space to accommodate a stroller inside, they made it work. The only downside was that it was really noisy indoors, but otherwise great!“

“A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It’s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty.I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good.I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.“
“The only problem with Breakfast by Salt's Cure is finding a place to sit in the bare utilitarian space as it is often packed to overflowing. The reason, of course, is the food. Their griddle cakes are a unique pancake experience and supper good. I am partial to the blueberry, but the trick is to order with two other people and split all three varieties. The only pancakes that compare for taste and texture are top flight lemon ricotta pancakes. Their breakfast sausage is also very tasty as are the hash brown cakes, although I prefer traditional hash browns as a rule. The large slice of "breakfast ham" is also an excellent choice. Bottom line great food but probably best ordered to go and enjoyed at home. Then, you get the best of both worlds.“
“Savor the joy of breakfast at this package house, known for its colossal and fluffy omelettes. Indulge in a delightful morning feast as each omelette is a masterpiece of fluffiness and flavor. The generous portions and diverse fillings make it a go-to spot for omelette enthusiasts seeking a hearty and satisfying breakfast experience. You can also explore a delightful array of pancakes at this charming spot. From classic buttermilk to creative flavors, the menu caters to diverse pancake preferences. Each stack is a perfect blend of fluffy texture and delectable taste, making it a pancake lover's haven. Whether you crave traditional simplicity or inventive combinations, this place promises a pancake experience that satisfies every palate.“
“Food, chef's kiss! I'm yelling cuz it's that good! Too bad I'm not a morning person, but to have some Red's breakfast, I will wake up early. We ordered Texas scramble with potatoes. Those potatoes have my heart! So good! Also ordered shrimp & grits - 100% stamp of approval. So delicious and full of flavor. Not runny but substantially good. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu.Picked up food so didn't eat inside. I suggest calling in your order because they get busy, especially during the holidays.“
“First time here. Came for Sunday brunch with a group of 6. Waited a bit for a table but well worth it. Delicious options. Friendly service. Will be back!Dietary restrictions: The create your own omelette was perfect for my keto lifestyle! I chose sausage, bacon, mushrooms and two types of cheese. Ask for butter to add on top. Particularly good!!“
“Scrumptious lunch just steps away from the beach. Kate, our waitress, was very pleasant and attentive. Always with a smile. The menu has a nice array of choices and the portions are large. I recommend this establishment to anyone.Vegetarian options: I had and thoroughly enjoyed the grain Bowl.“
“We got to meet Juan! He is amazing! Not only did he make us feel so welcome. He broke the menu down for us and showed great hospitality! One top of that the tacos, pastor and asada (what we've tried so far) are truly out of this world! Salsas made in house. & they cater! We will be back.“
“Cindy provided excellent service a long with a mother lady who was also in the restaurant at the time of my visit. I dined in for brunch on 3/7 at 10:55am. Excellent staff and the atmosphere was calm and quiet. Thank you so much for a great experience!!“
“So freaking good! I wanted to support a small business after hitting the dispensary and Beulah's blew me out of the water delicious! They even carry Kelis's brand bounty and full lovely vibes on the inside go don't think just go delish“
“The food was so scrumptious. I typically don't like chilaquiles but Dayuum that chilaquiles Torta was bomb diggity. It was like a delicacy that I've never had. So many flavors blasting with every bite. I will for sure come back for a round two of that Torta chilaquiles. It was a bit spicy but I didn't care I loved it. The ambience was great so much space and not a lot of people maybe because my party and I were there early in the morning. The service was okay they took a while to give us our food to be an empty day but you know what, it was worth the wait. Overall loved it!!! Coming back for more.“
“Our Elite Tabletop Family cannot say enough great things about Cafe 50’s! From the way we were GREETED, TREATED, & SERVED, to the way they’ve continued to treat our daughter like FAMILY since she’s arrived in Santa Monica. They’ve been nothing less than spectacular and are the epitome of what a True, neighborhood nostalgic 50’s diner encompasses. No other establishment has ever provided fun toys & items of entertainment while waiting for our food. We thank Benjamin for that! Victor the GM checked on our table and made sure Kim our waitress was taking care of us! Kim was a fantastic server and we never once waited for a refill on anything. The staff @ Cafe 50’s take pride in their customer service & establishment and they deserve all the recognition! You have our family’s support for life Cafe 50’s! We would ❤️ to support you, supporting the local community!“
“Wow! Delicious, homemade breakfast. The drinks were especially good- we all passed our homemade lemonade and smoothies around it was so good. Home fries were perfect and french toast was excellent. We might only eat here for breakfast for the rest of our stay!Vegetarian options: Enough choices for vegetarians“
“One of the best, if not the best breakfast/lunch places in Venice. Breakfast burritos and caprese sandwiches are awesome. One of the best values you're going to find in the area. The staff has always been friendly when I came in to pick up the food.“
“Courtyard is a nicely located Cafe for people finding themselves in and around the LAX area during the early part of the day and wanting an affordable food fix. I believe the tiny cafe is an independent family-owned shop. Staff are friendly and helpful. You'll find quality tasty breakfast items and beverages here, with most stuff priced less -- or not much more -- than a $10-er. Burritos and quesadillas are especially popular. Orange juice is fresh squeezed, and their famous juice called the Vampiro, red from beets, is a delectable blend of some of my favourite fruits and vegetables. You can ask for it with a dash of spicy refreshing ginger blended in. It might be a little challenging to pinpoint locate, since Courtyard is not readily visible from Sepulveda. It's in the rear courtyard of a building. I think it's well worth seeking out for reasonably priced, satisfying breakfast fare near the airport 'hood.“
“This is IHOP so you know what you should be ordering. The pancakes were good as I expected them to be. I got the combo which was 2 pancakes 2 eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. Everything was good but I feel it's hard to mess those things up. The service was great and our server was very polite and attentive. This is a decent size place but be mindful that it is right by the airport so it will get busy. The parking is behind the restaurant and you can enter from Manchester. Overall solid choice for pancakesParking: Decent sized lot behind the restaurant.“
“Decided to drop buy after picking up some supplies from Harbor Freight. I got the Hamburger combo with Fried Zucchini upgrade. The Hamburger was very good and the Fried Zucchini was excellent. The Fried Zucchini had a great taste along with that crunchiness. The staff was also very nice.“
“It was my first time there I wanted a little breakfast before I got my hair done. I ordered a bagel and 2 glazed doughnuts because they didn't have a big selection of donuts at that time. But I did get 2. The bagel was really good toasted, with light cream cheese. The lady, most likely the owner, was really pleasant and nice, and she gave me a Little-good luck charm. With my purchase. Whenever I'm in that area of Lawndale, I will be going there.“
“Oh my goodness, such good food! After a very early morning flight from DFW to LAX, we needed a place where we could get breakfast or lunch. Snax was FABULOUS! 2 in our group had patty melts and raved about them. One had an omelet. One had eggs benedict. One had blueberry pancakes. All were delicious. I had the machaca (I think) burrito. Oh my, so good!Definitely recommend.“
“For those looking for a fancy LA brunch, keep on walking past Headliners. But if you're in the mood for old school style diner food, step on in. I opted for 3 eggs over easy, hash browns, toast, sausage and a cup of coffee. The hash browns stole the show but everything on the plate was solid. And to boot - Headliners was clean and well taken care of care of. I'll be back next time I'm in the area.“
“All 4 of us were very impressed at the first bite. Well prepared and succulent dishes framed with artistic presentation holding hands with a rich flavored cup of coffee. Undecided what to choose from the beginning after scrutinized that attractive and colorful menu, but in reality, every item is a good choice.“
“Excellent egg restaurant. A great variety of choices. Presentation definitely matters. The food is crafted and designed to look delicious. The theming is very spot on too. Condiments, plates, store, atmosphere all lend to the feel. Can't really go wrong with any choice here.Odd thing I noticed is practically every dish was chipped. Not sure if that was part of the theme (cracked egg), but if unintentional, its smart.Parking: Definitely tough to find parking at peak. Recommend the garage behind it.“
“Since the change in management, IHOP Ohio and Bundy has blossomed into a haven of charm and elegance. The addition of fresh flowers on each table lends an air of sophistication, while the thoughtful seasonal decorations infuse the space with warmth and character. It's evident that the new management is dedicated to creating an inviting ambiance that delights patrons and sets IHOP Ohio and Bundy apart from the crowd.Parking: Excellent service“
“On this occasion, we returned to SOL for Sunday brunch. The food, drinks, and vibe were great, and we once again received the excellent customer service we've come to ♥ (and expect) from the whole crew. Thanks again to Luis, the hostesses, the bar crew, and to everyone!“
“Beautiful restaurant with great service and good food, but crappy coffee. Arrived around 7 am and were seated immediately. Cousin said the country fried steak was good and my little niece liked the chocolate chip pancakes. However, both the coffee and cappuccino tasted horrible, which is why I couldn't give the full 5 stars. I would expect a breakfast place to have better coffee.“
“Absolutely hands down the most delicious ham cheese egg croissant! Coffee was delicious too.Delightful and relaxing cafe. The folks are so gracious.Celebrating post visa appointment at French Consulate was made more special with Cafe Cinema.Cheers!“
“I walked by and owner, Sergio is the sweetest and funny man. He said Hi and told me that they have Philly cheese steak too. That was cute because I don't eat meat. I looked at other places to see where to eat from. Then went back over here to see what I can order. Ordered their sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and white bread. Asked him for a cup of water. He's so funny. He asked, On the rocks? I said yeah with ice rocks lols. He said ok and handed me my water and said here's your cocktail. He made me laugh. I've ate here before many years ago. Like 8-9 years ago. Glad he's still here but I also asked him how come he's not retired yet. Hehe He said he loves it here. He'd be so bored at home. Haha I highly recommend here with great low prices that best everyone else's prices here. During the time when gas is high of $7 and may even go up to $10 with this biden government administration, food prices here are very helpful. I had a lovely chat with Sergio here and all his 2 staff are so genuinely sweet all the time from start to finish and beyond. :)He didn't just have best food, best prices, best customer service but the experience here felt great.“
“Took my little brother for some breakfast today and decided we would try a new spot. So I looked a little online and found this spot really close to me and thought I'd give it a try. First impression walking in I thought it was small but it actually has a good amount of seating in a little side room. They only have one person working the front which is also waiting all the tables which he does a great job being the only one he had excellent customer service and was always attentive. My food experience was not the greatest. I ordered the pupusa ranchera which to me was something new it had great flavor but it became too mushy with all the salsa. I also ordered the plantains which was very hard and not sweet at all it was paired with beans and crema which made it a bit better. My brother ordered the house special with bacon he loved the hash brown and eggs but the bacon was really salty and hard to finish the pancakes were great moist and very flavorful. He also ordered a bean and cheese pupusa which had very little cheese it was all bean unfortunately but he loved the taste just wished the cheese and bean was a little more balanced in the pupusa.“
“We come here regularly for breakfast. The food is consistently good and typically served very quickly. The management and staff have always been extremely kind, friendly, and have delivered excellent service. If Yoli is there ask for her, she’s wonderful and super sweet. Hands down the best IHOP I’ve been to, and despite all the amazing places to eat in LA, this continues to be a regular stop for us. There’s definitely an awesome team here.Parking: There’s free valet on the weekends and some meter parking on the street.“
“If you didn't know, this place specializes in pancakes (thank goodness the burger thing was short lived). This one had exceptional dinner food. Had several of the dinner meals and they were all good. If you are getting it to go, call ahead because they are slow, but when they take your order, they are friendly. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for something affordable and fancy.“
