“Don’t sleep on the Apple fritter! Texture like a churro, crunchy on the outside and lightly fluffy on the inside. Is not very thick and has good crunch to fluff ratio along with apple throughout. There’s usually come out around 10 on weekends. The other donuts are great too - not too dense, even for cake/old fashioned with original donuts still fluffy. Just as you’d imagine a good donut being.“

The donut selection is also amazing. I was able to get a dozen donuts and choose whatever I wanted. The prices between donuts range a bit, but very reasonable for a treat for friends. Getting a dozen donut holes on top of what you're already getting is also a requirement at 25 cents a piece.

“New owners as of 2025. Completely remodeled and now is a small convenience store, open 24 hours. New staff is very nice, mix of Arabic and Spanish speakers for the most part.

Now serves full assortment of donuts as well as croissant and bagel sandwiches, different flavors of coffee and convenience snacks.
Very small parking lot for four or five cars. Most people don't stay very long so you usually can actually find a spot.

It's the only business in the middle Oakland hills in this area so it is much appreciated.“

“My Favorite "Uncle Big John" (May He rest in peace) and My Stepdad used to always come here for coffee, donuts and good conversation since 2007... and since my uncle's passing, my step dad and my son still come here and my mom comes for the breakfast sandwiches. “This is another location to get donuts and bagels. I’ve never been to a donut shop where it has a self-serving coffee station. Usually, staff will have to give you coffee cups. The place is small also where I came in. I kinda thought it might be quite bigger based on what I looked up online. “Best donut shop around! We love Christy’s Donuts. They are always nice and have the best donuts. We tried another shop one time when they were closed and it Christy’s is hands down better. My family and I go here every weekend. Cash only but they have an ATM machine if you need it.

Parking: Plenty of parking available

Kid-friendliness: They are super friendly with the kids and let them pick out their own donuts (we have two little ones and they are very patient with them).“

You cant go wrong with any one of their choices, from their lemon chicken to spicy chicken,their teriyaki chicken to Mongolian beef, their char siu and so on, every one is cooked well and flavored nicely.
