On holiday and for me, trying to find a good vegan meal is like searching for the Holy Grail!

And boy did the tempeh tacos deliver!

Literally can't get any fresher veggies, which were piled higher that Bishop's peak (locals will appreciate the reference)!

It was 20 minutes of enjoying all the yummy veggies and then was like oh yeah, have discovered the tempeh tacos finally! Not a criticism but just pointing out how big of a serve they give you.

I desperately want to go back but live very far out of town. If I were a local, this eatery would quickly become one of my regular go-to spots!“

“Our favorite pizza place in Los Osos or Baywood Park to go to. They have a great local on tap beer selection. Thursday night is trivia night so it can be quite busy.

“We love coming to the LA Parisienne every time we we are in town for our vacations. The sandwiches are fantastic. the croissants and baguettes are delicious. the pastries are amazing. “Now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday! We’ve eaten both breakfast and lunch here many times and it never disappoints. They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. Good variety on the menu, kids menu, wine and wine cocktails as well.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

Chef Jeffrey’s food was perfectly paired and Nicole was very knowledgeable without being condescending. Allowed us to discover the effects of different foods on different wines. “Chapala is the BEST. I ordered My taco salad that was made wrong. I took It back and explained it was no problem I just Would like a new one made. As I was Waiting, the owner or head chef, unsure of his name, took care of my issue quickly and said come on over and have a seat, pulled out my chair for me with a bowl of chips and salsa. People often talk about Noi's Thai food in downtown Los Osos, but in our opinion, Lotus Thai tastes way better! “We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“Absolutely love staying at this resort, and the Clubhouse Grill is a large part of that. Lively atmosphere, always friendly servers, and excellent food! Fun to eat outside on the patio while watching live music or golfers (depending on the day), or to eat inside watching sports on the large screen TVs. My husband generally gets the rib eye, and I have a few different favorites.“

His interest in the matter went above and beyond expectations. His willingness to make things right, was heartfelt- that's sometimes hard to encounter now-a-days. I encourage the owner of this establishment to also recognize this amazing employee by promoting or at least giving him a raise... as he's earned it- we will continue to be customers! “Been here a few times over the last month, they’ve been short staffed for a while, but the ones working there are doing a great job. We were served by TJ the first time, and Kajal the next time, both were very kind and accommodating. They really make the food with love here. I even requested the garlic parm twists to be a little under done with extra cheese and Parmesan, and they fulfilled it perfectly. Best round table experiences I’ve had. I hope they get some hires soon, especially with the same work ethic as those already employed. Great food, great people. (Bathroom might be having some plumbing issues, cause there’s a smell. But other than that, the staff is very attentive and generous, love this location.)
