“The pizza was very delicious. The crust was out of this world. Ample cheese, but toppings were very skimpy. The person working at the window didn’t seem to know much about ingredients such as how the dough was made and what was in the white sauce. However, overall very good pizza I would definitely have it again.“

“We went for lunch. We have been here before for lunch. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and sweet potato fries. Hubby ordered the Apple Pie Burger and regular fries. The fries were good. The Burger was above average but not great. My chicken salad could use more chicken. I had ordered this before years ago and the recipe has not changed.“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

“Local Mexican Grill near the water provides a relaxing atmosphere with options to sit inside or outside. I tried the Cubana Torta with a chicken Milanesa mixed in and it was beyond amazing. “I rode my motorcycle from Cincinnati, Ohio to the west coast of California looking for exhilaration. By pure chance or maybe fate, I crossed the mountainous range from PCH and was drawn into this oasis on the roadside that seemingly just appeared. I can’t express how fortunate I am to have made that stop at Lone Madrone. The atmosphere and setting was serene, the people were the finest of any, and the food provided a top off of experience. I recommend this place rather you intend to eat, taste wine, or spectate. However, the real treat is the people who work here. I don’t know how they got this amazing set of individuals. They were so hospitable and interested in my story, as I was interested in their incredible stories as well. To Amber, I anxiously await that getaway for you and would love to hear all about it. To Hana, not to be confused with Hannah, I love your name. I love your story. I love you. What an inspiration you are and the journey you’ve had. We both have our own horsepower lol. Thank you for sharing a piece of you with me. It was a light of beautiful hope and I will forever cherish it.“

“We’ve been going to Hofbrau for over 20 years. Just had one of the best meals ever there today. Sat outside on the new glass enclosed deck over the water. Amazing view. Beautiful day. Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“Now open for dinner on Friday and Saturday! We’ve eaten both breakfast and lunch here many times and it never disappoints. They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. I love, love their Pad Thai because they use rice noodles and the sauce is delicious! So grateful they are here in Los Osos for takeout!“

“First time there. Had to make reservations for dinner on a Saturday so my boyfriend and I dressed nice for a date night. The place had great atmosphere, excellent lighting and the wait staff were very nice and professional. I was, however, disappointed that they didn't have any sort of dress code. We are local and were bummed to see people there in sweatshirts and flip flops, like they just walked in from the beach, when we had to make our dinner reservation a week prior.

We had the steak and the halibut. The steak was a perfect medium rare and had wonderful flavor. The halibut was also cooked perfectly but was paired with cooked spinach and together did not compliment well. I ate the halibut and was very pleased with it and finished the spinach separately.

All in all it was a nice experience and the food was good and we will be back.“

“Absolutely love staying at this resort, and the Clubhouse Grill is a large part of that. Lively atmosphere, always friendly servers, and excellent food! Fun to eat outside on the patio while watching live music or golfers (depending on the day), or to eat inside watching sports on the large screen TVs. My husband generally gets the rib eye, and I have a few different favorites.“
