“It was recommended and was my first time trying this place. No regrets! Food - I ordered a grilled cheese bowl. It comes with 4 pieces of grilled sliced cheese, two types of seasoned rice, hummus and salad. It was a perfect size for me. Salad was crunchy, everything tasted freshly prepared and delicious! Service - I can't ask better! I received friendly, welcoming and perfect service! I'm so glad that I tried this place out. Matt's incredible MC and DJ's skills also did not go unnoticed. Several guests noted his positive energy and warm personality really added to the event. They answered every question and were very accommodating and kind when I had changes to be made to my menu. Over the phone/online service was always friendly. I had a lot of changes with my menu requests and guest count and every time I reached out to make those changes they never made me feel like I was asking too much. The food was great. “I helped set up the event center for a quince. Ms. Roberta was there every step of the way, making sure we had everything we needed. She loan us her cart and kept checking on us. The venue is beautiful. There is plenty of room for the dance floor and photo booth. The parking lot isn't very big but plenty of room on the side street. If you are looking for a nice and clean venue with wonderful and hard working staff, Azar Event Center is a perfect location.“

“My husband and I had our wedding at Hangar 21 South - a Jay's Catering venue and the food was phenomenal! Their menu selection is quite wide. They have different menu's to cater for different flavors such as a Latin, American, etc. And they do either plated or buffet style!We did buffet style and did their American BBQ wedding. For the appetizers we did mini corn dogs and gorgonzola and caramelized onion bruschetta. For our entrees we did BBQ chicken, beef brisket and a tri-tip carvery, and for the accompaniments we did mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, cesar salad and corn bread with honey butter. The tri-tip carvery was really nice because someone was hand carving tri-tip. Our wedding was almost 3 weeks ago and people are still talking about how good the food was!The bar was also of course a hit! The bar package we chose has the bar open from cocktail hour to an hour before the event ends and although our guests didn't pay for their drinks it wasn't technically "unlimited" because they could run out of certain things. But nonetheless, they ask you in advance if there are certain drinks you would need to have heavier stocked if you know your guests have a preference. And their signature drinks are delicious too! They offer tastings at part of the package, I suggest going to them!Working with outside vendors - I highly suggest selecting from their list of preferred vendors when looking into wedding coordinators, dance floors and lighting and stuff. These are companies that have worked with their venue before and will know what they're doing for set up :) We did want to use a different lighting company but they said for liability purposes, they couldn't use lighting companies they weren't already contracted with. :( It ended up working out though because we ended up doing very simple lighting and it came out amazing. For wedding coordinators, I highly suggest Heidi Hou with The Fete Collective. She has an incredible team and they go above and beyond to execute your day. My husband and I felt so taken care of. We felt like we didn't even have to think because she handled absolutely everything, and STILL made sure we had drinks and appetizers during cocktail hour while we were taking pictures, AND had food waiting for us at our table. She is amazing at what she does, and you can tell she loves it.Our event coordinator, Casey, was amazing! She was very responsive to all our questions. And after our venue visit, they drafted a contract to show how much the grand total would be with the details we chose according to our headcount so we wouldn't be blindsided by pricing. They give you a complimentary 2 week soft hold while you make your decision and Casey made herself available during this time to answer all questions and make any additional changes for me. She responded very quickly and she kept me on track for all my deadlines. I highly suggest working with her :)“

Not only were the cups hand crafted and unique with items like sealed crackers, honey sticks, etc, she even included darling pearls and baby's breath for decor that just sent it over the top! Definitely check her out for any of your entertaining needs. She can do anything from single serve cups to GIANT grazing boards. “Came here every morning for breakfast while visiting Long Beach California for a conference. 10/10 experience lots of yummy food options. Last day I brought my roomies and they all loved the food and atmosphere as well. Food is freshly cooked and cheap. My roomie states: super good Vietnamese coffee and chicken adobo (~$14 total) below is a photo of her food. Healthy portion of food for the price as well. Chicken adobo is a bit sweeter than normal but not complaining very tasty!“
“I found Bunch of Munchies thru the "too good to go" app! I reserved my "surprise bag" and came to pick up later in the day. To my surprise, I got 2 huge Rice Krispies for $6! Omg what a steal! It's a surprise bag, so they pick what to give you. I brought it back to work and shared with my coworkers. It was a great mid-day snack! Yummy! I recommend checking out the app to see what other local shops are around and/or seeing if Bunch of Munchies is on there to try out their Rice Krispies! “We booked AAC for our wedding on 11/11/23 as the exclusive caterer offered by Fete the Venue. We had our tasting with them and they gave us multiple choices to try from and they were full portions! We were so full after and everything was delicious.We were VERY happy with ACC on our wedding day, the food was great and the presentation was beautiful. Even when they cut our cake for us it was so neatly placed. My husband and I did not have to get up at any point for food or beverages. A member of their team got us food right away and brought it to our table and would periodically come back to see if we needed seconds or anything to drink. We really appreciated her! We actually got to eat at our wedding! Haha! We did have peace of mind knowing they would accomplish our requests because they work so closely with the venue. So any special requests seemed to flow with ease. Also with booking with them through the venue, they did not charge a service fee. Side Note: We did ask if we would be able to take any leftovers home after the wedding but they said no for health safety reasons.I took away a star because there were a few things we did not find easy when working with AAC. The cooks and waiters were superb but management was where they dropped a few balls. After we booked them I had a hard time getting a response back from them. I even had to have Sarah, the sales manager from Fete the Venue reach out to them to get us some type of response. Lastly we needed to switch our method of payment for one of our scheduled payments, and we provided them with the updated payment with plenty of time, and received a confirmation of the update. Yet on the day of the payment, the wrong form of payment was still processed. When I reached out to see what happened, I was again, left with no response.When writing this review I had to decide the star rating. I did this based off outweighing 1 of 2 things:#1 The long 2 years I had to deal with not being able to have good communication with this company, and #2 having exactly what we asked for on our wedding day.With that being said, I gave them 4 stars because they were not the worst to work with and they did execute the day with flying colors, and our guests and us loved the food and service.“

“Having gone to one too many weddings where I was not fed enough and/or not served tasty food, and then having heard my aunties and uncles complain for years about the food after the wedding left me scared for our wedding...I did not want the reputation of throwing THAT kind of party. But Furiwa made our lives easy! They were the caterer of choice for two other weddings for both my older brother and my husband's younger sister's wedding. We knew we wanted to keep the tradition of having them cater our wedding too and we were 1000% happy with the decision. Our guests were equally satisfied, the fried sui mai were a fan favorite with so many of our guests asking about it post-wedding and are now buying to-go from Furiwa on the weekends just to re-live that tasty goodness. From the start, Victoria and Tiffany were both great to work with. We considered both off-site catering (partnering with Victoria) and having our wedding at The Villa (partnering with Tiffany). We decided to go with an off-site option, but either way, both of them were professional, kind, patient, and great at communicating. We really appreciated all the tips and pointers along the way too. We cannot recommend Furiwa enough, you should for sure book with them!“

“What a nice surprise to run into this pop up booth from Primal Alchemy today. Got the smoked brisket breakfast burrito which was awesome! Some of the most tender brisket I have tasted in a while. Had a good chuckle as well when I ordered my breakfast burrito with salsa on the side and the owner or chef was taken away by my request, like how dare I not trust him! Long story short the cook put the salsa inside my burrito anyway which was fine. Salsa on the side or inside it's still a great burrito and definitely will be back for their next pop up!
