“Oh my god. It was so good. I was craving a burger and I can’t eat gluten or dairy and holy crap…YUM! I hadn’t had a good burger like that in a long time. It’s hard to match the taste of a regular burger when you don’t have a gluten bun or dairy but they did a good job. Now, we did order a second time and it wasn’t as good then. Someone else must have made it but it still hit the spot. I always want another burger afterward. 😋“

Big fat ZERO for the manager who was too busy flirting with the hostesses to care that guests who were told the wait was 20 minutes were still waiting after 50 minutes and we would have gone elsewhere if they gave a crap and told us it would be a long wait. So... Once we finally got seated after almost an hour's wait, Philip saved the night with great service and attentiveness. (It was a birthday for my friend, and I told the hoelstesses, but the front desk didn't tell the server about the birthday so no birthday dessert for my friend) 😞

The hostess service and manager really could have been better. At one point there was a group of 5 or 6 employees (including the manager) at the front hostess station with a CROWD of waiting guests. It was not a good look because it looked like they were loafing around while guests were waiting and waiting and waiting. They didn't offer us an alternative seating location (outside) after we had been waiting double the time they said the wait was. Not sure I'll be back for a little while ... They wasted my time and I didn't like the lack of care or communication.“

“I stopped in for lunch and had the steak and eggs with was $19.99 and it was worth every penny. The blonde waitress was very sweet and stopped by several times to see how I was doing. I love the atmosphere in there and see why many people use this place for buisiness.“

“When driving up to this restaurant immediately my eye caught to the beautiful outdoor seating. We visited during Christmas time so there were some Christmas decorations.
I like how it had two entrances, one for restaurant and one for the bar area but sadly the bar and restaurant were combined. When seated for dinner they wanted to put us at a small table for four near the bar area and I requested to sit in the booth a little further back. She had to check with the supervisor and it ended up being ok.
The server was nice but honestly a little too sarcastic, I would expect that at like a lounge/bar but not for dinning. It could be too that maybe she served both areas.
I had the steak, my husband had the wild boar. He loved his and I admit the flavor was very delicious, the sauce they cooked it in but it was on the sweet side, he enjoys that but I don’t as much. My steak came out on quite the platter - literally like a live edge piece of wood. Pretty great display! The steak however was on the tough side. I found this place on my dining app so I thought I’d give it a try. It wasn’t horrible but I don’t think I’ll be back. If I was more local I’d consider but this is not a place I’d make a special trip for. The desert we wanted was out and so that was a bummer but we ended up with the cinnamon roll pudding and it was more like a thick cake.
I guess I just expected a little more with the ratings and suggestions.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Michelin-Level Experience at Outback Prices The Wild Artichoke in Yorba Linda is a hidden gem. I was expecting something entirely different — and was pleasantly surprised in the best possible way. We started with the smashed potatoes and endive salad, which made for perfect appetizers: light enough not to spoil our appetite, yet full of flavor to whet it. The portions were ideal for sharing with my wife. For our main courses, we ordered from the lunch menu. I had the Wagyu burger, and my wife went with the tempura fish and chips. I’m not sure how they did it, but every bite was incredibly well-balanced. The fish had a crispy exterior, just the right touch of Maldon salt, and a beautifully firm, flaky interior. The tartar sauce was exceptional — rich, creamy, and unlike any I’ve had before. The burger was a standout. Each ingredient was distinct and purposeful — no unnecessary fillers. Every component worked in harmony to deliver deep, layered flavors in every bite. We ended the meal with the Basque cheesecake, which was beautifully presented. It wasn’t overly sweet, and the perfectly burnt top paired wonderfully with the sweet berry compote. A special treat was getting to meet the head chef. What a pleasant surprise. He shared the story behind one of his dishes and mentioned that every item on the menu has its own story and purpose. That passion really comes through in the food. I’ve dined at many fine restaurants, and I can confidently say the quality here rivals places charging $150–$200 per plate. The value is extraordinary for the caliber of cuisine offered. This is a truly special hidden gem — perfect for a relaxed lunch with friends or an intimate dinner date. I can’t wait to try the rest of their menu!“

“My mom and brother and I went to The Heights for lunch, and we enjoyed everything about it, the vibe, my chicken marsala was delicious, mom had cranberry turkey sandwich and loved it, brother had the dill salmon, he loved it. My only complaint is, it can get a little loud when the place gets full of customers. Yes half of it is a bar, but overall, we will be going back, great place!!“

I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

“Let me just start by saying the food was fabulous! We ordered the flatbreads and the beef tacos. The absolute only negative I found was this: We had a reservation @ 5 pm, which is when they open. Needless to say, we were the only ones seated at a table. The other early birds were around the bar. One of our party was seated directly in the path of a vent that was blowing air very strongly at his head. We asked if we could please be moved to another table. Thinking this would be no problem at all, we were shocked when we were told that it was not possible! Again, the place was basically empty. We were told that they were fully booked for the evening. We asked two times to be moved. Negative on both accounts. The third time I said we might have to leave because we were not comfortable. This time they reluctantly moved us to a booth, where we were told we needed to leave by 6:30. Not a problem - it was only 5 pm! (Note: we did notice another couple they had seated at our original table complained as well. Since there were only two of them, they were able to just change seats at the same table to avoid the draft.). Again, the food was fantastic! But the lack of concern for our comfort and the refusal to make it right immediately left a bad taste....“

“What a blast! This is a fantastic golf destination with two great layouts to keep things interesting. The South Course is a real treat, long, challenging, but fair, with generous fairways that give you room to swing confidently. It’s a great test without being punishing. Then there’s the North Course, which is a ton of fun in its own right. It’s shorter, more laid-back, and perfect for a relaxed round. Fewer water hazards mean you can stay aggressive and focus on your short game. Both courses offer something unique, and I’d happily tee it up here any day!“

The Fresno fig was tasty! The truffle fries as a side upgrade were deliciousss, and the brussel sprouts appetizer was amazing, but rather small. We were there for a business happy hour meeting and had jalapeno sliders yet I will be back for those and other menu options including the tacos which looked fantastic.Our server at the bar was great. Knowledgeable on all the beer offerings on tap which there are many. Clean and friendly place that I recommend and will return to.“
