“Soooo good! I love that I can get either salt and pepper tofu or tofu in orange sauce here so I can eat along with my family. My family loves their salt and pepper wings (they were delicious when I had them years ago). Always friendly service. Have dined in and done take out as well, always very quick too. A gem in Eastlake!“

“Tasty & fair prices. I only give 3 starts to the service because the two times I've been there, I felt that I was being pressured to finish and go and I didn't like it. I think I should be able to take my time to enjoy my meal and eat in peace specially if we have kids, but they are constantly coming over to the table and start picking up your plates before you're even finished.“

“The food is really good and its cooked to perfection in my opinion. Its not super greasy and everything is made fresh nothing sitting under a light or on a warmer. Its a little pricey but its all worth it for really good well-seasoned food.“

“Believe it or not a restaurant with three different cuisines that works. Felt like. A good old country breakfast and found this nearby. When I got there I changed my mind and ordered machaca and eggs with flour tortillas.Saw some delicious looking sausage and eggs go by. I am excited to try this place for lunch or dinner.“

“I’ve had the pork fried rice, the sweet & sour chicken and the salt and pepper wings and they were all fantastic! The food is well cooked. It’s well seasoned and they give you large portions for a reasonable price. Definitely my new favorite place for Chinese food.“

“My parents, little brother and I were originally going to go to the pho next door, but we waited almost 10 min and no menu or drink offers, so we got up and went here, and WOW what a difference! They greeted us right away with menus and drinks, customer service was great and the food was even better. 10/10“

“Great food and cooked at the moment!! I came here to SD for short vacations with my family, and we wanted something for dinner at the hotel, so drove here and great service and surprised that when I ordered food was cooked in that moment, great taste and portions for a very good price! Highly recommended!“

“Good "Chinese" food here. I had the BBQ pork but I think I was expecting a different type of bbq flavor. The rice was good but somehow reminded me of stove-top- stuffing. The service was very friendly. If you're nearby, Great Happiness, is definitely worth the stop.P.S. Great Happiness only accepts cash.“

“This place has been around for a few decades it is a unique Chinese food place .
Highly recommend the wonton soup
And the Chinese combination.
The interior of the place is not too eye appealing, the bathrooms should be better
but the owner doesn't want to invest in a nicer appealing bathroom.
As for prices they can be pricey but they have a lunch special if you are tight on a budget.
As for service depending on the day you go it could be anywhere from server to more servers on busier days.
As for parking it is free and there are plenty of spots to park. They are closed on Mondays..“

“Drove from the naval base and back, ordered salt and pepper chicken wings and barely sat down for 5 minutes before my order was complete. These traveled so well. I patiently waited 20 minutes before eating them at home and they stayed crunchy. Is considerably better than royal mandarin. Customer service was amazing.“

“Came in around 2pm for a quick lunch, pretty empty only 1 other person here. The lady serving the food was fast, ordered spicy orange chicken, garlic chicken, and fried rice. It was about $12 w/o the drink, but for the price it was amazing. Would highly recommend for a quick lunch“

“The food is good, normal Panda Express. The place is clean and team is very polite. Parking is great, there is plenty of space. There is space to seat both inside and outside. Definitely a place I feel comfortable eating with the family or by myself.
Kid-friendliness: The place has high chairs in case you need them.
Wheelchair accessibility: It has tables that are handicap friendly.“

“I like their food, but this place I go to they always don't have what I like and they take a long time, this time I had to wait a little more than 15 minutes for the food to be ready, my personal opinion is why do they wait for for the meal to finish so we can cook the next one?“

“I left San Diego 6years ago. Just moved back, and couldn't wait to eat there. I was so bummed out that you're not able to go inside the restaurant anymore and sit down and eat. I always enjoyed and love going to this restaurant , especially the shrimp 🍤 I always enjoyed the buffet 😋 👌 ☺️“

“This restaurant is clean and has fast service. Once their bowls start running low, they make more fresh stuff. Tables are clean and so are the floors. Friendly staff gave me a free drink for waiting for fresh kung pow
Parking: Plenty of parking in this little shopping center.“

“I had brunch here with my friend the other day. I haven't been here in years. The menu seems to be the same, but the food does taste a little different from what I remember.
The service was on point, and we stayed talking well past being done with our meal and the staff didn't make us feel rushed at all.
I ordered:
#25 the Skewered Satay Beef- the meatballs are not as firm as they were in the past, they completely fall apart when you cut them in half. But they were good.
#14A House Special Satay Pho- this was so great, flavorful and really filling. I loved it.
Thai Iced Tea to-go - very tasty, exactly what I was hoping for.
Parking was easy, there are lots of spots. The vibe was casual.“

“The food is very delicious as usual, well prepared and seasoned, the one bad thing is that the line of customers is slow so I was there for about 15 minutes from when I got ready until I paid for my dish, after that you can go eat to the tables without further ado.“

“Our server was Roldan at the Chula Vista (Eastlake) location. He did perfectly with an order split between regular and gluten free, got everything the first time, & checked in efficiently without being intrusive.
We ordered the Chef's feast (for 2) and had leftovers. For the gluten-free entree, we substituted shrimp for the chicken in the Chang's Spicy Chicken (up charge $2.25), & it was excellent.
Menus do differ slightly by region, especially gluten-free options, but most are available in most places.“
