“Went on a 2x1 for the fist time without knowing. Expect to be placed on the waitlist 25 min aprox. They serve good portions the rolls are very fulfilling and good, the atmosphere is nice, the hostess and bus boy were really attentive, our server however could do better. The garlic edamames are fire but the tostada de atún is bomb!💣 Will be coming back for sure with my friends ! 😉🍣🍤“

One of the waitresses was extremely rude and unprofessional throughout my interaction with her. Additionally, I requested a few slices of lemon, and later noticed that I was charged for them without being informed there would be an additional cost. I found this practice both misleading and discourteous.“

“Fresh and quality ingredients. They have a great variety of proteins, delicious sauces, and toppings. The price is fair for the amount per scoop and the quality of everything. Service is efficient and welcoming. Perfect spot for lunch with plenty of parking.“

“We love coming here! We’ve been coming here for over 10 years and not much has changed except the service has gotten better. You can’t really go wrong with any of the sushi’s but our favorite are the lion King, the Philadelphia roll, the spicy roll, the jalapeño roll or the Crunchy roll and we usually get the 3 item bento boxes as well. I feel like you get a lot of bang for your buck with the bento boxes because they will keep you full most of the day. we usually get the teriyaki or chicken Katsu with the vegetable tempura and the California roll. on those days where my kids want some to take home the chicken fried rice is one of the best in Chula Vista. It does get really full during your typical lunch hours so the wait might be a little bit longer, but I think it’s a good sign that people keep coming back. Overall, I don’t think we are going to stop going unless we move or something lol“

“Great little sushi place in Otay with lots of flavors and a great AYCE option. Service was pretty quick for only having one server. We got our rolls pretty quick and was able to order the next round . Portions were a bit small but for AYCE I just doubled up. really great taste and lovely little storefront. Walking distance from the appartments and with Tea Next door not a bad date night.“

“Great tasting Ramen local in Chula Vista - Eastlake area. We don't have to drive to Kearney Mesa anymore for Ramen. Portion is a bit smaller than Rakiraki, but just as delicious. I recommend the black garlic Tonkotsu. It came with the pork belly without paying extra. The Okama Steak Ramen is a bit sweeter, but just as good. I want to try the black garlic flavor Ramen with steak next time.

Service is great, both waiter and waitress are friendly. Nice atmosphere, not crowded, plenty of parking. Highly recommend this restaurant for fresh and authentic flavor Ramen.“

“I really enjoy dining here. I was introduced to this spot by an older friend and my wife. They had been coming here for years before any of us met (this place has been here for over 20 years). The food has always been on point, the service has always been excellent and everyone is just so nice when we visit. Consistency in these three things is such a hard thing to find these days and the folks at California Sushi deliver, spot on, everytime we have visited. “The only negative I have to say is the location. However the food was great. I got the short ribs. The meat was tender. My partner got that katsu and it's the crunch that gets me. Delicious. The Mac salad was good too. No weird after taste of fish oil that I've had at other places.“
