The sushi rolls have about twice the amount of fish in them than other local places (and we have tried them all). Wonderful specialty rolls and all the traditional favorites! You can't go wrong here! Even has many non-sushi options.

You will notice right away as you walk in, that the atmosphere is rustic but inviting. The service was warm prompt and friendly and the food was very good, the sushi was very battery and succulent. “We've lived near this restaurant for many years but didn't eat sushi until the last couple of years. Once we started eating sushi we started frequenting OSushi several times per week. The food is delicious, service is great, atmosphere is friendly, and your meal gets to you quickly. We've compared this restaurant to many highly regarded ones near and outside the area but everything about OSushi is so good there's no reason to go anywhere else. This is our favorite!“

It is very different than asian sushi, this being said all the sushis I've had from this place have been AMAZING! Their servers are nice and polite. The food is very good, specially if you have had sushi or sea food from Culiacan. In their menu it references many places from Culiacan Sinaloa, which I think was pretty clever. Also, don't miss out on their micheladas and the horchata de coco. I definitely recommend this place.“

“This was my third time going to makomae. I like the sashimi. They are fresh. It’s a little on the pricey side but worth every bite.
The first time I was there, I tried the beef tongue that I didn’t care for.
The second time I was there, I ordered the omakase. The server told me what fish I would be getting. One of them was Bonita. I never had sashimi Bonita and knew that I didn’t like cooked Bonita. When I tried the sashimi Bonita, I still didn’t like it..the rest of the sashimi was very good though.“
