The only thing they’re lacking is the real wasabi on their menu, unlike their Japanese counterparts. Although, that can be a blessing for ones who aren’t used to the strong kick of the real thing. We really love the welcoming ambience, and enjoy our time there as a family!!! They always strive for excellence!!“

“Friendly staff, immediate seating, and the sushi was perfect. The rice was tender with exactly the correct amount of vinegar, the fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared, and every single thing that I ordered was made with careful consideration.

I had the octopus, escolar, and surf clam nigiri, spicy scallop hand rolls, salmon carpaccio, and seared escolar. They were all incredibly well prepared with well-balanced sauce/togarashi.

I love that the sushi is also sized correctly, each piece is actually a single bite the way they're traditionally intended to be served.

“Food was great. The steak could’ve used a little more seasoning, but it was still good. Portions were solid. The chicken and shrimp were both flavorful. Just a heads up, the noodles are pretty spicy, so if you’re not used to heat, you might want to skip them lol. Overall, a solid choice and I’d definitely go back.“

The space is small, however if we end up dinning there we always have a table, didn't remember going there and being able to dine in. “Found this gem when I fist moved here in march! Reasonable prices and quality of fish is good. I always sit at the sushi bar and the sushi chefs are always so nice and on top of it. Cajun salmon is delicious! Definitely recommend“

“I didnt have any expectation when I came in, just finish up the gym and was just super hungry!

Surprisingly, the sushi quality are way better than I expected. The portions are way generous! For $12 dollar fried baby octopus they give like 8 pieces, for the salmon skin salad, i thought I would see this small bowl but it’s actually so huge that I can be full just by eating alone. And of course the main sashimi bowl, with gorgeous display~ Look at the picture and you’ll see!! Happy happy stomach!

“God Dang!!!! This Ramen is legit! Lived 5 years in Japan teaching English. (Ibaraki-ken/Tokai-mura) I can tell you this ramen is on par. Please come and support this place. I see a lot of sushi spots steering away from keeping ramen on their menus. On a cold day there is nothing better! Oh and that pork cutlet steals the show. Perfectly cooked! I’ve had sushi from so many places, but THIS spot blows every other one out of the water. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — like melt-in-your-mouth good. The sushi chef (I didn’t catch his name, but he deserves a trophy) is not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and welcoming. It was my first time here and he surprised me with a free roll on the house — who does that anymore?!
This place is a diamond in the rough and I’m honestly shocked it’s not already famous. If you’re even thinking about trying it, GO. RIGHT. NOW. You’ll thank me later.“

“We found this place on a whim and found a gem in this area. They have a homemade sauce that pairs well with our meal . We even bought a bottle and the chef in the back gave us some chili oil that had a lot of heat. We got seafood and it was satisfying. Definitely coming back.“

“Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. Like other reviews have said the line does get long around 12-1 pm so I have always gone around 11am or 2pm+. Depends on your schedule obv. Thank you to all the student workers!“

“Today was my 2nd time coming here, my sister knew about this place before I did and she doesn’t even live around my area lol. The food was really good, the place is clean. The 1 reason this place isn’t a 5 ⭐️ for me is the service. The 2x I’ve been here it’s semi empty and the servers still take a while to come around and ask if we need anything. The servers I’ve had have been nice and polite BUT just wish they would walk around more and ask if we need something. I don’t like waving staff over to get refills or napkins.“
