“great dinner for my birthday“

“Hands down, very likely the best sushi I’ve ever had.. no exaggeration.

I tried Sushi Miguel on a whim and was completely blown away. I had the Acapulco roll, salmon sushi, and a sushi burrito the first day… and it was so good I had to come back the very next day. Round two was the lunch sashimi combo B, another Acapulco roll, and spicy salmon sushi.. and somehow it was even better.

The flavors are incredible — fresh, bold, perfectly balanced — the kind of sushi you keep thinking about long after the meal is over. This place is an absolute must-try if you’re ever in the San Bernardino area. I’m genuinely sad I have to leave town because I already want more.“

“After traveling across the globe and tasting sushi in its birthplace Japan, I can confirm by confidence that they have the best sushi and service in town. The only thing they’re lacking is the real wasabi on their menu, unlike their Japanese counterparts. Although, that can be a blessing for ones who aren’t used to the strong kick of the real thing. We really love the welcoming ambience, and enjoy our time there as a family!!! They always strive for excellence!!“

“Friendly staff, immediate seating, and the sushi was perfect. The rice was tender with exactly the correct amount of vinegar, the fish was incredibly fresh and well prepared, and every single thing that I ordered was made with careful consideration.

I had the octopus, escolar, and surf clam nigiri, spicy scallop hand rolls, salmon carpaccio, and seared escolar. They were all incredibly well prepared with well-balanced sauce/togarashi.

I love that the sushi is also sized correctly, each piece is actually a single bite the way they're traditionally intended to be served.

“I love this place. I go here quite often a great protein meal after a great workout. I love family restaurants and they are always so very friendly. My food is always hot and fresh and their prices are really reasonable here. I purchase at least 4 to 5 times a month.“

The space is small, however if we end up dinning there we always have a table, didn't remember going there and being able to dine in. Parking is a little difficult as its busy, the store/restaurant is outside superior grocery so its a shared parking lot“

“Found this gem when I fist moved here in march! Reasonable prices and quality of fish is good. I always sit at the sushi bar and the sushi chefs are always so nice and on top of it. Cajun salmon is delicious! Definitely recommend“

“Overall great for lunch and dinner. Don't let the Mexican or Spanish name turn you off as authentic. Food is great for price point. Service is warm and hospitality for looking a good meal. Sometimes, you dont flash, just warm and gets the job done.

When it comes to sushi I usually only go to Rowland Heights. I ordered sushi, a baked roll and 2 other rolls. The best I've ever had? But we have morning else around the area. Definitely recommend.“

I’ve had sushi from so many places, but THIS spot blows every other one out of the water. The food is insanely fresh, flavorful, and truly authentic — like melt-in-your-mouth good. The sushi chef (I didn’t catch his name, but he deserves a trophy) is not only incredibly skilled, but also so kind and welcoming. It was my first time here and he surprised me with a free roll on the house — who does that anymore?!
This place is a diamond in the rough and I’m honestly shocked it’s not already famous. If you’re even thinking about trying it, GO. RIGHT. NOW. You’ll thank me later.“

“I got the Steak and Shrimp bowl with brown rice and veggies…it was really good and flavorful but I wasn’t pleased that the shrimp wasn’t cleaned…the mud vein clearly visible on the 5 shrimp in the bowl…I picked the shrimp out and ate the steak…paid $12 for a bowl been nice if the shrimp were cleaned…won’t stop me from eating there again, I just won’t order any shrimp.“

“We found this place on a whim and found a gem in this area. They have a homemade sauce that pairs well with our meal . We even bought a bottle and the chef in the back gave us some chili oil that had a lot of heat. We got seafood and it was satisfying. Definitely coming back.“

“Honestly the poke here is amazing, I kinda looked down on it at first due to the price and comparing the portions to panda next door but the amount of fish/protein you get for a normal is amazing. Definitely a more healthy alternative to the more greasy food around. I would argue that its better than some poke places off campus. Like other reviews have said the line does get long around 12-1 pm so I have always gone around 11am or 2pm+. Depends on your schedule obv. Thank you to all the student workers!“

“I would like to give my input on this small location food truck on Foothill and Almeria. I've seen this truck there for a while now. So I decided to stop to get some fried rice and noodles for my family. Food is very tasty and service is great. I asked for spicy noodles but realized they made sweet and another one garlic. But they corrected it right away by giving me the spicy noodles free. All around very good food and customer service.“
