“We had lunch there on 12/16 this year and it was delicious and a fun environment and experience. The Pasty, a rarity among West coast restaurant offerings, is fantastic, every bit as good as one made in Michigan's Upper Peninsula where the Cornish copper miners enjoyed a pasty for lunch. The right smell when you cut into it, the crust was perfect and the flavor can't be beat. Highly recommended.“

“We had a lovely time seated outside with our large group including children. The service was amazing and we were so happy to be welcomed by the friendly staff. Our meals were delicious and were excited to come back and try more options from this restaurant. A few favorites of the group included the tacos, torta and mole. We also loved the margaritas!“

However, the staff doesn't know enough about how they're made or what makes the flavors what they are. So you know, don't expect an education from going here. The Brandy, however, and the limoncello and orange Jello were very good“

“Stopped for gas and saw a sign that said "BBQ inside". As soon as I smelled the food I couldn't resist, so I put in an order. Truly, the best ribs I've had in my life! The owner was also very kind and we had a good conversation. An absolute gem of a restaurant and I will certainly be back if I'm ever in the area.“

“We were in Murphy’s yesterday and a good friend that is very knowledgeable about wine and also a grower told us to stop and meet Gary and Sue and have a tasting. Unfortunately Gary or Sue was not available(probably crushing this years grapes to make more spectacular wine). However we met Jim and he treated us like long time friends, talked about the wines and very sociable. Every wine tasted was suburb and we ended up taking 6 bottles home to enjoy later. When we are back in the area we will definitely stop back in and hopefully meet Gary and Sue“

“An extremely wonderful place. Truth is, I have a hard time sometimes feeling comfortable new places due to being socially awkward . I’ve been yearning for something more inter-sanctum had exactly what I was looking for, and the comfortability as well that I was searching for. I’ve been wanting to be at a place with a little more class as well was looking for somewhere with a charcuterie, board and wine. I’m so happy to find it here. Wonderful people, wonderful products, as well as drinks and food and beautiful setting . Looking forward to spending more time here as well as sharing it with others.“

“We took our grandson to the farm and he loved it. The animals looked in good health the train ride was fun, the train conductor was entertaining, the bakery had multiple choices of cookies and pies. The maze was a source of interest for my 2.3 years old.

“Wonderful wine tasting room just off Main Street in Murphys. Walk a few steps down the alley from Toscano's restaurant and you'll find this beautiful little boutique winery that has some of the best wines in Murphys. Very quaint and cozy, super friendly owners on site to greet you, laid back atmosphere with live music on Saturdays.“

“I stopped by in late October for a tasting. They have a lovely outdoor area. Kirsten is very knowledgeable as she is involved in the wine making process herself. She answered all my questions about the wine making at Sierra Foothills. I loved Ponderosa blend and picked up a bottle to remember the trip later.“

“Stopped in for Bloody Marys on a Saturday morning. Got very fast and friendly service. The Bloody Marys were great. I wasn't hungry but I couldn't resist ordering an Eggs Benedict with pulled pork. “We had a party of 18 ppl and we called last minute to see if they could accommodate us and they happily did so. We had such a great time and the wines were very nice. Nick was our server and he was very knowledgeable about the wines as well as funny; he gave us a good time. The atmosphere was also very clean, modern, and beautiful which made it even more enjoyable. Plus it was a chilly day but their patio heaters along with the wine kept us nice and warm.“
