“The place looks great, the food was very good, but the service was spectacular. The service here was above and beyond, and it’s very refreshing to go to a place in which all of the staff are friendly, respectful, and attentive. Highly recommend“

“Don't be fooled by this small hidden restaurant. It serves AMAZING food.
Armen, the owner, is super friendly. He really cares about serving the best quality food. You can tell he's passionate about it.
The menu has lots of delicious options. I ordered the chicken thigh shish kabob. It came with very tender juicy mouth watering chunks of chicken on a bed of flavorful rice. There's a side of fire roasted jalapenos tomatoes, and hummus. Also comes with lavash bread and garlic sauce. I wish it came with a little extra chicken though.
There's only street parking. One picnic style table in front of the restaurant.
They appear to mainly cater to take out and to go orders. While there, lots of customers stopped by to pick up their orders.
It seems like they all knew Armen and he knew them. He has frequent customers.
Be prepared to wait a while for your order. Everything is freshly prepared. I would advise to call ahead and place your order. It took about 40 minutes for our food to be ready.
On a side note, mini kabob is associated with mideat taco restaurant, which is also AMAZING“

“Really tasty food and big portions!! We definitely ordered more than we could finish between 2 people.
The beef spring rolls were like a burrito size! Also ordered street corn, chicken sando and rice noodle bowl. All large portions for what you pay! Hard to pick a fave but I’d say chicken sando“

“I was in LA a couple of weeks ago on business and found this spot the day before leaving and that's my biggest regret. Wish we'd found it the first day we we're there I'd have been eating there everyday. The food and atmosphere are excellent and a live DJ playing music we all grew up on (can you dig it ✊?). The purple (grape) kool-aid was a blast from the past fo so.“

“Everything about our experience was amazing and delicious! My girlfriend and I tried Bridgetown for the first time last Sunday for lunch and loved everything about it. The space is comfortable and inviting, and the food was perfect. We shared 3 items: 1. Curry Shrimp Roti - Great texture and flavor and paired well with the Fresno Mango Masala sauce. 2. Curry Chana Doubles - Wowee! Delicious and fluffy and tasty. Paired well with Pineapple Habanero Sauce. 3. Curry Yam and Mango Patty - Great flaky texture with delicious filling. Paired well with Fresno Mango Masala Sauce.
Thanks for creating such an inviting and delicious restaurant! We'll be back.“

“We stopped in from Ohio and ate, and it was the best chicken parm we have ever had. We got the chicken parmesian poutine and the Philly cheese steak sandwich and split it, and there was more than enough for two people. I would definately return here.“

“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! Great service! It's a hidden gem to the right of BofA in the plaza. — at CrispyandFluffed.“

“Food is delicious but service sucks. Very slow staff they just walk in circles. Also at previous location desserts and drinks were always available. At this new location there’s barely any drinks or desserts. They also run out of forks. The restaurant needs a better management.“

“Visiting from out of state and just coming from the flight, I was looking for a true local bbq gem. L.A. Brisket did not disappoint! I ordered a half pound of brisket, and it was soooo good with just the salt seasoning that I had no need to mix with sauces or anything else. Would highly recommend this humble local gem“
“The wine bar you wish you could stumble upon every night! Great Persian food- you can tell they use fresh farmers market produce. And arguably the best natural wine list in town. This spot is a real gem. Get the Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi or the Fesenjan - both delicious stews. And their tarts for dessert are excellent.
Vegetarian options: Nazkhatoun (eggplant dip) w/ feta, Ghormeh Sabzi, shallot dip, Shirazi salad (cherry tomatoes and cucumber), cucumber dip
Parking: Their parking lot is just south of the restaurant on the corner of Virgil and Melrose“

“After reading the reviews, I tasted spicy seolleongtang lean meat,
When I skimmed off the red pepper oil that was floating around, the soup had a mild flavor and was excellent. The meat was thin and fatty like shabu, so I deducted one star. Since no seasoning was added, I didn't feel thirsty after the meal and the service was very good.
The broiler paste has just the right amount of ingredients and the broth is clean and well seasoned and delicious.
Spicy and spicy seolleongtang is almost a combination of “intestines” and some shabu meat.“

“The hole in the wall you've been looking for. I never fancy dumplings / buns, but when I tried their fried buns, they won me over. Skin is even, thin, w/ the right consistency. Savory inside and out. Tried some of the soups that were ok. Recommend the buns/dumplings.“

“Great burgers. Meh fries. Excellent service.
My friend and I did notice we felt more bloated than usual when eating burger meals. Not sure if that has to do with the oil they use since he got a different dish but also an order of fries.“

“Golden Leaf has been on my list of restaurants to try for a while. The restaurant doesn’t have air conditioning, so it can be a bit stuffy, but it's manageable with the large fan running. There are no drinks available on the menu, only water. We ordered four appetizers and two main dishes for the two of us. Every dish was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the braised pork rice I ordered, which exceeded my expectations. The meat was generously spread over the rice, and every bite was flavorful. We also had the oyster vermicelli, which was very fresh. I highly recommend the kimchi among the appetizers. It was plentiful, crisp, and tasty. Since we ordered quite a bit of food, it became a bit heavy, and the kimchi was perfect to balance it out.
Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“Amazing French dip sandwich! Juicy tender meat, with caramelized onions dripping with cheese - huge portions! The pickled cucumber side was real tasty. I even tried my wife's 5 cheese grilled cheese, and it was also great. Service was a bit slow, but no biggie.“

The food was delicious, hot and served by a friendly face. They checked on our table and even offered to-go boxes.
Thank you for the delicious lunch surprise. The other restaurants great loss. Thank you Aunties Cafe.“

“I saw a Groupon for Lobos Truck the other day and I had to buy it. It was $13 for 2 entrees and 2 drinks! What a steal! They stop by in front of my work building every now and then so it was pretty convenient for me to check them out.The Chinook: 1/3 lb. American-Kobe beef burger with garlic aioli, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato on a fresh Brioche bun. The burger was nothing special - just average. It was cooked medium rare as requested and it was well seasoned.OG Wachos: With everything. What are Wachos you ask? Waffle Fries + Nacho Toppings = Wachos. Came with Avocado, Cheese, Onions, and much more. It was amazing. The waffle fries were crisp and flavorful and it went well with all the toppings. I wish there was some heat to it though!“

“Ridiculously delicious chicken tenders. They're big, they're juicy, and they just fall apart with each bite. There are several delicious dipping sauces to choose from too. I suggest Spicy Ludo - it's got a flavorful kick that is not overwhelming. Check the drink prices before ordering one though, those are far from reasonable...“

“An affordable and fulfilling lunch!! Highly recommend: 9.3 out of 10.
Visited on a Monday afternoon ?️?
Ordered the chicken katsu curry and some tempura To-Go!
The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside!! It came with green onions and tempura flakes on top. The curry was tasty and had a great consistency. Very delicious and a nice option for an udon eatery. I added to my meal from their tempura selection: zucchini, potato and egg. All delicious and crunchy!
I'd give it a solid 9 out of 10. It definitely satisfied my craving.
The inside was very clean! ✅
The staff were friendly, helpful and quick! The overall customer service was a 9.5 out of 10.
This place will now be a regular spot to stop by and eat at!

“The design and layout are very nice. it feels like you are eating in the past. The restaurant is on the ground floor of a hotel. There's no parking lot and some street. Valet parking not sure of what the price is. Ordered the chilaquiles, very tasty. It's not spicy and a bit strong on lime flavor but still hits the spot. French toast is amazing, and you can ask for topping on the side. Staff is extremely friendly. Borderline closer to 5 stars, but parking and no A/C is the only limitation but very good place.“
