“After a session at the gym, I was fairly hungry and a protein shake wasn't going to do it. So decided to look up a few places and while driving, I saw this at the corner and this place had been on my bookmarks for a while and decided to give this a go instead. Since it's downtown and midday parking is horrendous, but since they're located near an alley, homegirl parked on the red and came in to do a to go order. Walked up to a kiosk and ordered 2 chicken shawarma, one with hummus and the other with mixed greens. ( Summer is coming around the corner, so gotta make sure we're staying within the macros.) I really did enjoy my plate, the wrap was packed with protein which I enjoyed. Usually a lot of places are skimpy with their protein portions, but the chicken was tender and full of flavor. It was also very refreshing as there was tabuleh and pickles. I like the little banana peppers addition to the salad, I just ate them with the shawarma instead. The hot sauce is creamy, pretty mild, but got the job done. PS Would you guys make a halal hot sauce? Just asking because some people like me would like our insides to burn. Lol. “This is a great lil joint hiding away in a not often traveled part of DTLA. It’s a small and cozy spot but the food they cook up is delicious and very good portion sizes. Nothing is crazy overpriced and the flavors of everything are spot on. We got the beef and chicken lule combo and lamb chop combo and loved it all. The char and flavor of the chops and lule was amazing. Plus the rice that comes with it was cooked perfect and I love that it comes with a sumac seasoning to add. “This is a little hole in the wall kabob shop in Glendale. What's interesting is when you're driving down the street, there are so many kabob places and we chose this one based on some reviews that we saw and the fact that it look like a mom and pop shop and it was! I love supporting small businesses and the people working behind the counter were so helpful and kind. I'm pretty sure the wife was the one that served us and she was particularly helpful and delivered excellent service. We shared a mixed kabob plate that ended up enough for both of us! The meat was super moist and flavorful, especially I took note of the chicken breast which often can be dry. I would highly recommend this place!“
“Tried their falafel a chicken kebab plates. Loved every bite especially the falafel of course, and the tahini covered lettuce and tomato. “My wife was craving for Mediterranean,Armenian cuisine then I told my wife let's go to the Golden Skewer Restaurant in Montebello. We step in the restaurant then we ask it's a take out then we look at the menu then we decided to order the chicken breast kabobs come with roasted vegetable,hummus,rice pilaf and a pita bread. To took away while because everything is made fresh daily at the restaurant.When our meal real we left and headed home but the aroma from food amazing and also we got a new car scent from the food. I open the container and food looks so good but the taste incredible good so much flavors in the chicken breast kabobs season good cook perfect all the spices seal in chicken while cooking. The hummus was good then I try the rice pilaf also good then roasted vegetable very good then use the pita bread to complete the meal.
