“When I went there because it was recommended to me, it was so crowded that I couldn't eat inside.
I tried to make a reservation through Google in advance, but I was unable to make a reservation due to a mysterious error.
I couldn't give up and ordered takeout.
There aren't many items on the takeout menu, but it's by far the most delicious Thai food I've ever eaten.
I've eaten Thai food in many countries, but even take-out food is so delicious that next time I'll definitely eat it freshly prepared at the restaurant.“

“As a Thai person, this place is soooo good. They got the Kao Man Thai Tod, which is Hainan Fried Chicken. Its so hard to find in LA but this place got! Not only that they got Kao Neow Kai Tod, which is Fried Chicken with sticky rice. I really recommend this place!
Their service is also amazing, this is my third time coming here and they remember me ? they always greet their customer warmly and make them feel welcome!
ขอบคุณมากๆเลยนะค่ะ ?“

“Stopped by on our way to the mall and this place didn’t disappoint. The Thai Mexican fusion is a little different but even though we didn’t try it the Thai dishes we ordered were excellent.
Service was good but the owner made up for it by being very attentive.
Very affordable for the portion and quality. Don’t skip this place!“

“First time going here. I got the Beef Drunken Noodle and the Seafood Tom Yum Soup. When I tell you both dishes had so much flavor and they give you big portions. The food was absolutely delicious and amazing. The waiters were very kind and very attentive. The place was decorated in Halloween decorations, so cute. I loved everything about this place. This will be my go to spot for Thai food from now on. I'm a very hard food critic and this place passed with flying colors. Thank you for the amazing food. I will be back.“

“I finally remembered to try this place. It didn't disappoint. Everything was made fresh to order. The veggies were crisp and tender. The shrimp were nice and plump. The Tom Yum was zesty and flaming.
It's a nice place for friends, family, or a casual date. It's not fancy. You order before you're seated.
The prices are just about the same as most Thai restaurants. Which bothered me a little since we had to stand in line to order.
But overall, it's a great place! It was yummy! It's was peaceful.“

“Thai food in this neighborhood have all fallen for some reason, and I thank this place for opening to pick up where they lack. I think it's great they came into a location that has very mediocre Thai restaurants around with decent ambiance but low quality food. Instead of focusing on a dine in experience, this place is all about delicious Thai take out.
The drunken pad noodles and spaghetti are great and Thai level spicy.
The pineapple fried rice is also delicious.
This is my new go to Thai spot.“

“I was recommended to come here by a friend and each time I come, their service has consistently been good. The restaurant is small, so i usually go early to avoid the line. Their food portion is a bit smaller but the taste has consistently been good. I always get their salad.“

“I was just passing by on my way to a work meeting and was craving Yellow curry.Let me just say that the rice was fresh and fluffy, pairing just perfectly with the yellow curry and chicken. There was a generous amount of chicken, potato and carrots which some restaurants skip out on.The staff were super friendly and attentive. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area again.“

“This hole-in-the-wall Thai Town spot in East Hollywood is all about the roasted duck—juicy, tender, well seasoned, and not too oily. They have your standard Thai dishes like pad see ew and papaya salad, which are decent, but nothing special. Loved the variety of hot sauces and pickled chilis!
Authentic flavors and quick and friendly service, though English is limited. Tiny space, so there can be a wait if you come at the wrong time. Parking is tough. A bit pricey at around $40 per person ($25-30 if you go light), but worth it if you’re craving that duck! Would come back if I'm passing by.“

“Tiny little place serving up food well above its weight class! Really good food! The chef even came out to personally ask us how the food was. So nice! Really interesting decor too! I'd come back with my date! But the place is tiny, so if there's no seating inside, and it's too hot or cold to eat outside, take it to go! The food is worth giving a new home in your belly!“

“Tub Tim Siam on Hillhurst is a small, family-owned Thai restaurant with a lot of heart. It’s run by a really sweet older lady who takes care of everything herself, so the service is very slow — but worth the wait if you’re not in a rush. The food was really good, with the Pad Thai being a highlight. The mango sticky rice was absolutely amazing, probably one of the best I’ve had. We also got coconut water, which was super fresh and refreshing. A cozy little spot with a homey feel — just be prepared to be patient!“

“Amazing experience! We will be coming back any time we're in the area. Everything ordered was well seasoned, delicious, and very fresh. We ordered two different soups, curry, a noodle dish, and fried bananas.
The customer service was great and the prices are reasonable for the quality and amount.“

“This new spot just opened recently. I was going to buy Subway next door but decided to go inside this place. It was the best Thai food I’ve ever had. Authentic food! I ordered Tom Kha chicken soup for my son since he was feeling under the weather. He loved it. Then ordered Krapow over rice for me. It was sooo good. Spicy but great flavor. It’s ground chicken with spicy chili garlic sauce and basil leaves over white rice. Friendly service too. I’ll be recommending this place to family, friends and coworkers.“

“First time here. I was visiting my very good friend and he wanted to have Thai food.
We walked in around 5pm ,and the restaurant is pretty busy, at least half full.
We ordered Tom Yum Soup, Spicy Combination Fried Rice, Spicy Beef Salad, Chicken Chili Basil and Tofu and Chicken Mix Vegetables. The serving size is big enough to share. We had more than enough food for the 3 of us.
Great flavors, well prepared, high quality ingredients and you can taste the authenticity. The Beef Salad to much acidity. The Chicken Chili Basil is on the sweet side. Even the jasmine rice is good quality and taste. My only complaint is the spice level is mild even when we ordered spicy. Just add more with prik nam pla. In the end, we shared an order of the fried banana with coconut ice cream. I wish they bananas were bigger.
Service is attentive and prompt. We got our food with a little wait. Two service staff was very effective managing even when the restaurant was almost full.
Overall first time impression was great making our dining experience an enjoyable one. Solid 4 STAR 🌟.“

“Everything was great especially the food. I often order pad see ew at the places I go. It was exceptionally good. The chicken meat was excellent and I will order it that way again. Today on my second visit I’m trying the special curry with the chicken. It smells great and I’m ready to dive in. Thai tea is also good. Not overly sweet and no bite. This is my new go to Thai place.“

“Step into Mama Mae Ting's stall and you will be transported into an authentic Bangkok soi eatery (street stall). Somtam is fresh, crunchy and seasoned as spicy as you can handle; the BBQ chicken (gai yang) & BBQ pork (mu ping) are super savory and juicy (and conveniently served on sticks)..be sure to ask for sticky rice with that! Missed out on the kanomkrok but will save that treat for my next visit. Super arroy di mak-mak!“

“This place is like a hidden gem. Been here with my gf many times now, and we had ordered almost everything on the menu, and the dishes are consistently delicious. My favorite so far is the beef broccoli, the meat is very tender and well-cooked. 8.5/10“

“Parking was good. Food is good for reasonable cost. Service is good. No sign on the back door so you can't tell if it's the correct place. I had yellow chicken curry. It was good tasting with good, but not perfectly cooked chicken. The curry is very watery. I used 2/3 of it, and it made my rice an unpleasant soggy consistency. Spice level is pretty spot on.“

“I've been coming since I was in my teens. The food is delicious and it's literally one of the last Thai food spots where the food is authentic. As my children where growing up we enjoyed many dinners here as well. Many great memories and delicious food. The service is great.“

“My 1st time trying it and definitely will go back again. I got the crab fried rice very tasty but its too spicy for a nonspicy food eater; i also got the red chicken curry it was more watery than the other thai restaurants, i didn't taste a rich coconut milk flavor which made it bland to my taste. I would go back to try other dishes.“

“I’ve only had the Tom Yum and Tom Kha soup with shrimp. Both are really good, definitely worth a try if you work nearby. I only gave the place 4 stars because I haven’t tried much so can’t say it’s 5 star worthy.Staff are friendly and they can get those soups out in under 8 mins, perfect for a lunch break. The food hall itself is pretty boring and just a big room with chairs.“
