We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. “Neighborhood spot attached to a pastrami place. Closes a little early and errs on the pricey side considering its proximity to excellent (also pricey) late night food. Absolutely beautiful interior always playing old movies and current sports. Insanely underused and gigantic patio outside with a roaring firepit and plenty of tables. I really hope more people start hanging out here! It's pretty silent on weekdays and I've never seen it packed.“

The service isn’t 5 star but it’s good as it ever was and I’m fine with it. Unfortunately Ihad a very lousy customer service incident on the phone tonight after they botched my delivery order. I ordered grilled cheese sandwich and onion rings. Postmates delivered matzoball soup and rings. Johnny’s customer service lady (didn’t offer name) and the manager refused all responsibility for the wrong item they mispacked; she told me to take it up with Postmates. OK, but meanwhile can I get my sandwich that Johnny’s failed on? “Take it up with Postmates.” When I questioned that logic from a customer service perspective she said “you’re failing to understand!” and told me “don’t get an attitude with me!” I replied “an attitude with YOU?” and she hung up on me. Come on, Johnny’s, this whole thing started with your mistake. Accept responsibility and make it right. Don’t blame delivery. Just make it right.“

“I didn't have any expectations going here, but they were all quickly exceeded! I loved how there were several different stands to get food from, including a dedicated bar area (I hate it when you have to order food at the bar).The food was all really fairly priced and so good! It paired well with the beer flight my partner and I got. There are many unique beers to have, and the bartender who served us was super cool and friendly.I definitely want to come back again! The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

We went Saturday night 11-9-2024 to see the tribute band Live Forever a tribute to Oasis and what a show so good the singer nails it it was like Liam was right there in the flesh. The bartenders are top notch very attentive always making sure you don't have an empty drink. And they know How to pour and me she drinks properly. The owner is a cool guy and old skate boarder he's not that old but he was telling me about the bad it's a family business very cool guy. Its a fun hang all the people in there were nice. The band that night WOW great tribute to Oasis. I hope the GOOD BAR has them back. Go and support this Bar our small business owners need us.“

“It’s such a lovely dump LOL! Love going there on Wednesdays for the rib eye steak. I hope they don’t ever remodel or change a thing in there including the ripped up mish mash chairs, wobble tables… it’s our favorite happy little place. We donated some ping pong rackets because theirs were sooo bad but they probably don’t even notice it. Dive bars for the chill low maintenance people. : ) Xo“
