There is a shop, barber, tattoo parlour, and display room for motorcycles as well as many other places to hang out here. Must visit if you are an auto or motorcycle enthusiast while in LA“

“I have to admit, I wasn’t expecting the food to be this exceptional. And that is because sometimes chain establishments are not great. However, Camille suggested a couple of dishes for us and they did not disappoint and in fact I would’ve licked the plates if it was publicly appropriate. “Drink menu at the bar was decent. Wish the receipt would of been shown when they charge you at the bar. Since the drinks plus tax in my head didn’t add up. So would of been nice to know if they include a service fee to their checks. It’s a great spot in the community. Food looked great. Defiantly made me want to check it out again. Great place for an event or private event since there were so many open spaces.“

“Always have a great meal at Simmzy’s. I had cauliflower tacos and they were excellent (and I’m not a vegetarian). Sweet potato fries were great. I’m the past I’ve had the chicken tortilla soup- it’s one of the best! Pet and child friendly.“

“This place is a GEM. I feel like I’m in an indie film every time i visit this place. This place is so freaking cool. It has all the great classics for music and friendly locals and bartender/server. Very eclectic, warm and overall relaxing.

This is by far my favorite sandwich shop in Long Beach. It doesn’t get any better than this place. I’ve had breakfast, lunch and dinner here and they’re all bangers. I have brought multiple people here and they love it just as much! I just haven’t had their pizza and desserts here yet but i wouldn’t be surprised if that was good too. This place is ALL about the bread. Any sandwich you get, you’re going to be invited to the most delicious holding vessel your mouth has ever experienced. The quality of the meats are really good and the balance between them are spectacular. My favorite sandwich so far is the Track Suit. Warm, savory, cheesy, soft, crunchy deliciousness! And that pickled cherry pepper is EPIC. I want one right now! Can’t wait to come back and try more items.

Do yourself a favor and choose your own adventure here. From sitting inside or outside, it is always cool and nice ambiance; and you can always take it to go, the beach is down the street! They also have a deli shop where you can get cheap booze and cocktails in a can! I have also found new soft drinks that are now my favorite here.

Starting with the welcoming staff at the entrance. John, your hospitality is the beginning of the joyful experience. The restaurant is so elegant. We enjoyed the vaulted ceilings with wood beams. We enjoyed the large window at the kitchen area so you can see the Chefs at work. We got to sit next to the impressive wine rack display. The restaurant’s ambiance wouldn’t be complete without the soft background music. Our waiter, Issac, was a delight. He provided us with his expertise in choosing our wines, appetizers, entrees, and desserts. It was a pleasure to meet to give special thanks to the Chef, Danny Le and Su Chef, Donald. Their expertise is why we had an amazing and delicious dinner.“

“Every time I’ve been at Black bar a very enjoyable experience, it has a wonderful selection of whiskey which I drink. They have wonderful, creative cocktails that I’ve tried and never been disappointed. The pizza is wonderful as well. Please try it. The ladies who run it are very hospitable And will bend over backwards to make your time there something to talk about. Very talented and charismatic bartenders as well.“

“Drinks are good and vibes are good. Gets packed on Fridays and Saturdays but still is a good bar for the area. Tee is a great bartender, very friendly and she makes good drinks and nice to talk to. The one thing I don’t like about this bar is that despite its cool heavy metal, goth Game of Thrones-esque design, there is not enough heavy metal playing. Still, pretty cool bar but please play more metal or at least classic Rock.“

The only downside is that it is a very small place for the number of people that arrive; no dance floor, only one pool table, and hard to order a drink because of the very crowded bar. However, it is a very good spot for the Black community and for anyone, of course. Everyone was so happy to be here. This was my first time visiting, and I am confident I have found a new local to hang out at.“

“Love neighborhood bars, and this one was no exception. I did not rate the food because we didn’t eat and I’m not sure if they have food or not. The drinks were great, the bar is lively and there was a DJ. Super fun vibes and great crowd. Reminds me of the pre Covid days. Everyone was friendly and talkative, buying drinks for each other with no drama. I went here on a whim with my friend after the Beyond the Grave pop up bar. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but places like this are my favorite. I will definitely be back! The bartender made a perfect Midori sour, which is actually one of those cocktails that seems easy to make, but can be easily unbalanced. Definitely some pool sharks which made for a good viewing“

“Just went to blondies yesterday! Saturday night around 9:30 pm. It's a nice bar! More standing space than seating. There is outside seating but it was taken up when we arrived there and it didn't seem to free up by the time we left.Age range is millennials, maybe some college students.Music is a bit loud if you are trying to have a conversation, but overall its fun! They got games playing and I think you can have lil birthday gatherings there? There was a small birthday hang out when we were there which was really cute.Overall, good bar, would come back.“
