“Ok so I've been meaning to provide a review of this IHOP as I've gone there enough to give a thorough review. This place is really good and the customer service is excellent. I had such an great experience recently with a server, Thomas that was so nice I wanted to ensure I got around to doing a review.Look, I know when people think of Compton, many may think of the Compton of old. While things do happen it's no different than any other place where there's good and bad. As a new person to California- Compton at that- this place is solid and it's great to see people giving this establishment a try. I encourage you to do the same, and I believe you will not be disappointed. The customer service to this point is consistently outstanding and so is the food. They are open 24hrs too, so if you are in need of a late night meal, and you're in Compton- stop through and you'll get the chance to see exactly what I mean; for those who want a pre/post workout meal, they even have protein pancakes and healthy meal options.Thanks for reading this review and as noted-Thomas thanks for providing the excellent customer service that made me ensure giving this IHOP props and hoping this review will continue to lead people there.“
“Great spot, thanks Yelpers! The mans and I were doing some thrifting in LB and needed a bite and we settled upon this spot and I'm so glad we did. It was the perfect vibe for us. Not crowded and the music wasn't too loud so you can actually hear your date. My boyfriend got the lasagna and it was delicious! I will order this next time. When I think of lasagne I want it to taste like this. And at $16, if also comes with a generous side salad and a side of garlic bread. I got the chicken Marsala ($20) and it came with a generous portion of chicken, sauce, homemade mashed potatoes and the most wonderfully sautéed asparagus. Yum! We will come back here for sure. We had such a lovely meal, we even decided to try the peach cobbler for dessert ($10). It was a big portion that came a la mode. We left happy and full and even had some leftovers. “Been to this place more than once.Service: gotten much much much better. Whatever it is they changed from two months ago, was so worth it! (As for this occasion our waiter Malaquinho was on TOP of his game. Never let our drinks go lower than half. Consistency/ Attentive/ Positive attitude was key, and friendly of course. “I'm obsessed with this place! It's a very down-to-Earth, friendly breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in a very cool old building. I love the simple decor and surroundings, but you know what I love even more? The food! My best friend and I came here before attending the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach, and I definitely want to return when I'm in the area. I ordered a chocolate chip pancake, a breakfast burrito made with bacon (hash browns on the side), and a hot chocolate. It was PERFECT. Definitely go here if you want an awesome breakfast. (Note: The restroom is down a flight of stairs, but there's a sign saying staff will direct disabled people to a more suitable restroom.) Our server was a friendly woman who seated us, brought our food, and checked on us several times, all with a smile. I highly recommend the Omelette Inn! ♥“
“A really delicious diner in old town Torrance. It’s located on a tree lined street and has many outdoor tables so this is the sort of place that is an easy option to sit outside or in. Today I brought my dog so the outdoor seating really came in handy. We were able to find a parking space right out front and there were a ton of other free parking spots next to us as well. Our server was really polite and fast and we were serviced immediately after sitting down. They have a very large menu filled with all sorts of diner classics, so it was hard to choose what I wanted this morning. Everything is very fair pricewise and the portions are also very hearty.I started off with a cup of coffee, per usual, and it was very tasty and strong. For my meal I chose the Marinated Steak and Eggs because I read a lot of positive reviews about it. I can confirm that it is indeed very good. The steak is very tender and seasoned well and comes in a very large sized portion. I was not a fan of the hashbrowns, as they are more of a potato cake , but aside from that everything else was really good.I would definitely recommend to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Torrance. I plan to be back in the future next time I am down in the area.“

“After driving by this restaurant several times, we finally decided to stop by and try it. Upon entering, we were greeted by at least 3 staff members and told to find a comfortable spot to eat. Unusual way of saying, "seat yourself". All the available tables were clean and well organized with all the condiments. Our server came to our table and introduced herself and provided us adequate time to review the menu. I saw the San Francisco Burger, so without hesitation I had to try it. Within minutes our server came to our table with our meals. The burger was decent, but lacked something. I think I'm used to the Marie Calendars Frisco Burger because I was anticipating grilled onions and Thousand Island dressing. It was still good, but maybe I've been spoiled by Marie Calendars. While we were dining, the owner of the restaurant hired a painter to decorate the windows for Valentine's Day. It was entertaining to watch him do his work. We'll definitely come back to try their breakfast items, as the staff made our experience enjoyable.“
“The food was so scrumptious. I typically don't like chilaquiles but Dayuum that chilaquiles Torta was bomb diggity. It was like a delicacy that I've never had. So many flavors blasting with every bite. I will for sure come back for a round two of that Torta chilaquiles. It was a bit spicy but I didn't care I loved it. The ambience was great so much space and not a lot of people maybe because my party and I were there early in the morning. The service was okay they took a while to give us our food to be an empty day but you know what, it was worth the wait. Overall loved it!!! Coming back for more.“
“Came here every morning for breakfast while visiting Long Beach California for a conference. 10/10 experience lots of yummy food options. Last day I brought my roomies and they all loved the food and atmosphere as well. Food is freshly cooked and cheap. My roomie states: super good Vietnamese coffee and chicken adobo (~$14 total) below is a photo of her food. Healthy portion of food for the price as well. Chicken adobo is a bit sweeter than normal but not complaining very tasty!“

“This used to be my favorite brunch spot in Long Beach. However, I came here today for the first time after they moved to a different location and was a bit disappointed. It's spacious but the music was too loud and the wait benches were stained. My chilaquiles verde was great but my berry and peach toast was very dry and had no berry or cream. Note that I had these dishes before at the old location and they were delish.Overall, it didn't live up to my previous experiences, and I probably won't return.“
“I went with my friends to get breakfast. We had a good time and enjoyed the food. I love waffles and the one I had here was really good. I also loved the orange juice. It tasted freshly squished. My friend accidentally ordered something thinking it was one way but it turned out to be a different thing and they nicely replaced it. I will come back here. “Decided to drop buy after picking up some supplies from Harbor Freight. I got the Hamburger combo with Fried Zucchini upgrade. The Hamburger was very good and the Fried Zucchini was excellent. The Fried Zucchini had a great taste along with that crunchiness. The staff was also very nice.“

I ordered a bagel and 2 glazed doughnuts because they didn't have a big selection of donuts at that time.But I did get 2. The bagel was really good toasted, with light cream cheese. Snax was FABULOUS! 2 in our group had patty melts and raved about them. One had an omelet. One had eggs benedict. One had blueberry pancakes. All were delicious. I had the machaca (I think) burrito. We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! “I walked by and owner, Sergio is the sweetest and funny man. He said Hi and told me that they have Philly cheese steak too. That was cute because I don't eat meat. I looked at other places to see where to eat from. Then went back over here to see what I can order. Ordered their sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, and white bread. Asked him for a cup of water. He's so funny. He asked, On the rocks? I said yeah with ice rocks lols. He said ok and handed me my water and said here's your cocktail. He made me laugh. I've ate here before many years ago. Like 8-9 years ago. Glad he's still here but I also asked him how come he's not retired yet. Hehe He said he loves it here. He'd be so bored at home. Haha I highly recommend here with great low prices that best everyone else's prices here. During the time when gas is high of $7 and may even go up to $10 with this biden government administration, food prices here are very helpful. I had a lovely chat with Sergio here and all his 2 staff are so genuinely sweet all the time from start to finish and beyond. :)He didn't just have best food, best prices, best customer service but the experience here felt great.“
“Took my little brother for some breakfast today and decided we would try a new spot. So I looked a little online and found this spot really close to me and thought I'd give it a try. First impression walking in I thought it was small but it actually has a good amount of seating in a little side room. They only have one person working the front which is also waiting all the tables which he does a great job being the only one he had excellent customer service and was always attentive. My food experience was not the greatest. I ordered the pupusa ranchera which to me was something new it had great flavor but it became too mushy with all the salsa. I also ordered the plantains which was very hard and not sweet at all it was paired with beans and crema which made it a bit better. My brother ordered the house special with bacon he loved the hash brown and eggs but the bacon was really salty and hard to finish the pancakes were great moist and very flavorful. He also ordered a bean and cheese pupusa which had very little cheese it was all bean unfortunately but he loved the taste just wished the cheese and bean was a little more balanced in the pupusa.“
